The Order Of The Shadows
We are the final line of good in this world of eternal and ethereal evil. We will end the sickness of this world in the shadows. We are the Order of The Shadows and we will never give in. The World pushes without mercy, but when one pushes back, the world points and cries evil. So some may label us murderers and evil doers. But we fight for the good of the common man, and we destroy the corrupted. We will not be stopped. We will not be torn. For the Sky is ours. This Sword is ours. This Fate is ours. This Miracle, ours. From flesh and blood we have made the Master's sword. One that will cleave stone, steel, and mountains. It will cut through light and darkness to bring justice to this world. You have chosen to be a part of this. You will be a hero of this world.
The Order of the Shadows is an organization of assassins and dark heroes. Where the line cannot be held by the typical soldier, one well trained being with a dagger and the shadows can turn the tide of battle. However, we do not mindlessly kill whoever has a bounty on their head because someone has a chip on their shoulder. We kill for what is right. We kill for the good of the people in Azeroth. We recognize that true evil can be effectively countered by even something publicly frowned upon. There is no honor and glory for dying in battle. The honor and glory comes from victory, and destroying the endless hordes of that which would destroy order and peace.
The Path--
New Blood- Someone yet to be initiated into the order. Recruited, but not yet worthy. They are not to receive the armor or weapons provided by the Order's smiths yet. Initiation can be done by an Agent or higher ranking officer.
Infiltrator- The first stepping stone on the path of espionage and information gathering. If one were to select this path, they will be trained and sent on missions regarding stealth, persuasion, infiltration, kidnapping, and even torture if need be. During missions, they are to be accompanied by a Duskstrider in case something takes a turn for the worse.
Duskstrider- The Final Stepping stone in the path of espionage. The Duskstriders have proven themselves to be excellent information gatherers and brilliant spies. They supply information on potential recruits and targets and offer the information up to Selviorn and her Black Hand so as to be judged as to what to do with the information. Targets are approved based on a Duskstrider's findings. Recruits are tested based on a Duskstrider's findings.
Blade- A blade is simply that. The muscle and brawn of the Order, they are the defenders who hold the line should the assassins fail. Intimidation, among other things, are the specialties of the blades. They will be sent in to create fear. They must be accompanied by a Brawler during missions in case things take a turn for the worse.
Brawler- The final stepping stone in the line of soldiers in the Order. A Brawler has proved themselves time and again that they can handle their own in a fight, defend the Order, and bring an end to mighty foes. Brawlers occasionally handle fighting tournaments designed to seek out potential recruits, and will regularly be used to accompany a Dusktrider at a distance should they be discovered.
Shadow Blade- The first stepping stone on the path of subtlety, assassination, and murder. The main path of the Order, Shadow Blades provide the foot troops of the ranks, and are to be trained in subtlety, assassination, sneaking, kidnapping, and other such things. They must be accompanied by a fully trained and proven Assassin on missions in case things should take a turn for the worse.
Assassin- The final stepping stone among the ranks of the path of subtlety and killing, an Assassin is the mass shock troop of the Order. they have proven time and again that they will uphold righteousness with a blade in the shadows, that they can shine in the dark to protect the light, and that they are willing to cross the boundaries of law to make sure that peace and light are kept in tact.
Agent- The officers of the Order, Agents are fully trained and proven in all three paths of the Order, and have undergone rigorous training by both the Shadowstalker and her Black Hand. They provide order and peace amongst the ranks of the killers, infiltrators, and fighters within the Order. Highly respected amongst the guild, the rank of Agent is to be highly sought after, yet rare to achieve.
Black Hand- Right hand of the Shadowstalker, the Black Hand is the second in command, and to be treated with the utmost respect. Just as much as the Shadowstalker. With all the same rights and privileges of the Shadowstalker, the Black Hand maintains the Order when the Shadowstalker is away, unavailable, or busy. Should the Shadowstalker be killed, or step down from Her command, the Black Hand arises to the rank of Shadowstalker, taking over the Order.
Shadowstalker- The final stepping stone in all of the Order, the Shadowstalker is the undisputed head of the entire organization. The first and only so far has been Selviorn Shadowstalker, who founded and created the Order. Since the rebuilding of the Order, the Shadowstalker demands much higher respect than before, the Order taking on a more serious tone.
