Decorating!

... Hm, Rigley.

The eastern most building in the Dawnstar Village, the one with a bed on the first floor and the platform/doorless room on the second. I'd rather convert it to a buidling more suited to therapy. (I don't think anyone uses it.)

Could we possibily discuss it?

Trying to remember which one that is...

If I catch you online when I get back home we'll talk about it!

Hmmm... Here go random thoughts:

-Pubs, Inns, Clubs per'aps?

-Manors nearer to hubs?

-Mmm, military-ish training facility for merc/paramilitary RP?

-Maze-like anything-s for DM's events?

Since so much awesome is out there - Not a location, but perhaps someone would like to throw up a (tourism add!) guide to all the awesome places with RP potential that -do already- exist? And perhaps quickest-routes too? And it could recieve submissions from anyone and get added to the OP? /shrug

Any chance of throwing an empty tent or two in Sen'jin?

I'd need some better examples of places to put such things, Dave!

Tents and camps are always manageable, though.

Almost done with Hearthglen! Next on the agenda will be finishing up Mardenhold Keep and finishing my decorating inside of the tavern. May move to the Sanctuary from there, but there isn't -too- much to do.

Specific suggestions are appreciated-- What of the alley?

There are two main rooms, an external and internal, and one street section in the alley.

I think that making the external, outermost one a lounge or a bar of sorts might serve to be a logical and useful 'front' that can promote walk-in RP for illicit dealings of more criminal nature. It is oft that guild-specific RPs tend to sink into black holes where non-Guild Members cannot participate in; with such a 'front', it allows for non-Guildies to be involved in the RP of whichever guild might for that time claim the alley. I am also thinking more along the lines of a casino-isque/lounge concept for that room, which also provides RP of a different nature than usual taverns. Think high-class human establishment, palatial decorations, chandeliers, and the likes.

For the street itself, I think that it makes logical sense that crates and wooden boxes be kept there, such as the weaponbox gobject and the likes, as such contrabands and smuggled goods would be safely kept there until it could be disseminated or transported out.

Finally, I think the innermost room is quite fine, but a wardrobe, a desk and '.lookup object round table' placed beside the table might look nice. Always loved the deeper mahogany of that gobject.

I would suggest on what's left of Mimiron's Anchorage...

1) A goblin transpolyporter (doesn't need to be functioning, just there) to the Southern side of the house on the North (Gnome) island.

2) Some series of wooden planks or metal sheets to connect the two islands; South and North.

Thanks for considering!

UPDATE:
-Decked out the Cut Throat Alley Bar. It's spiffy!
-Made a bridge between the two Islands Which Shall Not Be Spoken Of.
-Hearthglen is finished, as is the Hearthglen Sanctuary.

Is there any way that, perhaps, Zeramas could be spruced up a bit? It's quite a nice place for villainy of all sorts, and a tad more manageable than the Catacombs.

So, I've been asked to go decorate most (I don't believe all, but most) of the battleground locations to make them suitable for RP.

Make of that what you will.

In other news, for my future reference I need to modify Raven Hill a bit.
