Thing is, if it can be proven wrong, then it very likely should be.

Not like we have any actively played male druids anyway.

Only female druids may exist! This way they can use their forms to be cute and fluffy! Practicality? Hah!

Why use it for combat when you can use it for snuggling?

This, personally, seems rather unnecessary, even if more true than perhaps should be.

Though this strays from your original intention, Zero, a roving pack of feral druids might be an interesting idea. But that's just me craving madness and mayhem.

And I am pretty sure so was what Xigo said...

Eh, I thought that too. But all the trolls came in and started yelling at me that that would not happen because druids would not do that.

I wouldn't call them trolls if they're just giving the lore facts and discussing your idea, as per your request.

And, sure, most druids would not allow themselves to go feral. This opens up a fascinating opportunity to explore why some would choose to lose themselves.

I like calling people trolls, makes my day better hehe.

And while that may be true, if they were feral I highly doubt there would be any sense of order as a clan.

Think if we get enough for it there could be a bear clan or a tree clan? Maybe even a moonkin one c:

See now, I rather like this idea. It would be really fun to have a cohesive unit of Druids running around together and doing awesome stuff. I feel bad because there always seems to be difficulty maintaining a Night Elf guild, but I think with a strong central theme you might be able to pull it off.

As for the female/male thing, I'd say don't worry about it. If you want to play a female druid, then go right ahead. Sure some people might not ICly be down with following you because of that, but that's okay. It creates interesting tensions and expounds on issues of sexism and roles in Night Elven society. (Which would also be interesting on a detail level I say.)

What sort of goals do you want for the group overall? Maybe that would help to solidify what you're doing so that cuddly cats and roaming feral chaos doesn't come into it. Hehe. Then everybody can know: "Hey! This is what our guild is doing!" Maybe you want to heal the land like either the Cenarion Circle or Expedition? But if your feral druids maybe you want to run Orcs out of Ashenvale forever? Who knows? The possibilities are endless.

I'd say just start working on making it more concrete to see if people are interested. Which they should be. 'Cause Druids are awesome. (Even if I am an Orc-a-holic.)

Good luck!

And mayhap we can make it even more like the novels, and have 4 clans, the cat clan we already have. Then add a bear clan, moonkin clan, and a treeform clan.

I really don't think there would be enough interested people on the server for two clans, not to mention 4.

"Nods"

Now how bout this... not a secondary druid clan... but a shaman wolf form clan.
Also, as the clan becomes more and more like.. well savagebeast, ty Athe.

Anyways as the clan changes, they will likely begin to move to a more populated area. Currently their camp is in Achenvale. But this can quickly change as they are currently changing, but as they become savagekin, they will not need to train as much, and will look more for hunting.
