Double Standard?

People are capable of accurately portraying fel mutations. That isn't the issue. The problem with allowing people to portray fel mutations is how tenuous that rule may become.

In the past we allowed people to have minor, non-combat fel mutations. Now, some people took that allowance to heart and played out addictions realistically (Shakes, cracked lips, poor eyesight, sensitivity to sound). Others, however, were caught in Booty Bay flashing smiles filled with pointed teeth or bearing glowing green eyes.

So, we don't allow fel mutations because, while one is capable of playing them out realistically, the chance for abuse for the sake of differentiating their character is too tempting for some.
