A Manically Normal Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:

I started playing WoW about a week or so before Burning Crusade came out. And for about 2 years, I remained a complete noob at the game. Since I sometimes had nothing else to do, I started to look into the story and got into it, helping me find out about previous games in the series such as Warcraft III. That's about when I started to enjoy RPing.

Eventually, towards the end of Lich King, I managed to find a guild that I formed a close bond with and learned the firsts and foremosts of raiding. However, that only lasted about a month or two, but they were the most fun I've had in the game mechanics and gameplay wise since I started. Unfortunately my account got hacked, and after retrieving my account back but being threatened by the same hacker, I felt it was not worth it and just quit playing overall, happening about four months before Cataclysm came out. Now, a year later, I'm hoping to get back into the story and the series in general.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:

I live in the United States on the West Coast. The only language I am fluent in is English, but I do know how to speak and understand a little bit of Spanish and Polish (the latter being my nationality).

How did you get into Warcraft?:

I remember hearing about World of Warcraft from world of mouth everywhere. I got curious and decided to try it out. Little did I know it would be my main form of entertainment for the next 3 years! :D

What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):

I have been looking at private servers, and I thought I'd look for on that is focused on RP due to a sudden urge to immerse myself in the game again. So I typed in something along the lines of warcraft rp private server and here I am!

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:

I haven't experienced all forms of RP in their full nature, so I definitely want to broaden my horizons and try out all kinds, from story-telling to action/

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:

My favorite races are Orcs, Dwarves, Humans, Tauren, and Trolls, with Orcs and Dwarves being my favorite races of their respective factions. I love Orcs for their raw nature and genuine placement in lore, as well as how fun it can be to create an Orc character.

As for Dwarves, they are proud and headstrong, hilarious yet honorable, etc. In fact, it's for some of the same reasons I love Orcs.

As for my favorite class, I would go with Warrior. Some others are Paladin, Mage, and Shaman.

What are your expectations of this server?:

All I expect is a fun experience in RP and a strong sense of community. :)

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:

I find that Tolerance and Respect are the ones that stound out the most to me. Without those two fundamental aspects of management, there wouldn't be a very comfortable environment to be in.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

"How have you been, old friend?" A lone orc sits in front of a solemn grave. A breeze softly blows across the landscape; the blue sky guiding tufts of white clouds across its gentle realm. A tranquil sound of gust surrounds the orc.

"It feels like an eternity since I've seen you, yet it feels like just yesterday we were sparring and laughing. We would always talk about our futures. We would compare silly things, such as our speech patterns. We would even take a gander at some young orc women budding into adulthood. Well, you so more than me!" The orc gave a quiet yet hardy laugh. "Yes, those were the days of realization. We were merely trying to find our own in the world. Yet, I was younger and felt more nervous, when you were merely weeks before you were of age. I suppose you could say I was more nervous for you than you were for yourself.

"But I always knew you were headstrong. You wouldn't stray your path and had your mind set. I always looked up to you, and it's because of you that I am who I am today." The orc closed his eyes and smiled to hold back a tear. He rustled some dirt around and picked up a tiny piece of stone that appears to have been chipped off of a battleaxe, placing it in an upright and erect position leaning against the gravestone. "I know what you would tell me know. 'If you worry about the past, you forget about the future.' Yet, remembering about the past...our past...I realize the future I had all along. I can't help but realize that everything happens for a reason. I know my words don't fall on deaf ears, much like they haven't in the past." Minutes fly by as the peaceful breeze continues to influence the flow of time.

"Rogner?" The sound of bare feet walking over stone sounded from behind. "You've been here for half an hour. We must be getting back. I know we don't come through here often, but..." Rogner stood up, throwing his axe over his right shoulder while continuing to stare at the grave. "Things are as they should be, Maena. We cannot live without regrets, or the past will become the future. Yet, we can never dwell on them. There is a balance between, and I know that we will someday be able to acquire it." The orcish woman gave a tender sigh and walked up behind him.

"That's why he would want us to continue. We cannot let one side of the scale outweigh the other. We loved him and respected him, and that's why we must carry on. For his sake." Rogner rested his forehead on hers, bearing a smile. Maena returned the warmth with a smile as well. Nudging at her waist, they both walk side by side back down the stone path.

The gravestone lay isolated and smooth, covered in a rough shading of gray. On it lay the words: HERE LIES LANTIGA - WARRIOR. LEADER. BROTHER.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:

I really hope to expand my stories and to come up with new and fresh ideas and characters, as well as put them into fruition. I look forward to this server very much!
