Thalassian runes.

I suddenly have this need to know how Thalassian runes look in general. Of course there won't be anywhere where I can find exact shapes, but is there anywhere in-game that has some examples besides the sign posts in Silvermoon?

Runes in what manner? Those part of runic magic looks ALL the same for everyone since they repeat patterns the ley lines create all over Azeroth. If you think of the signs I'm guessing you mean letters and I am sure there are more in Silvermoon on some doorways.

I should have probably used the word "script" instead of "runes". Too much other RP tainted that, sorry. XD

I ran around Sillymoon early this morning but couldn't find any other sign of script, though staring at them they sort of resemble Sanskrit without the line that connects the syllables, or Arabic. Hm...

The reason why I ached to know what it looked like was because of an aesthetic development that will surface someday on one of my toons, and it was mostly for the sake of "when I draw this addition, what the heck is it supposed to look like?" Kind of a silly reason, but oh well.

Around the priest trainer in Silvermoon there are some open books and scrolls.

Obviously they are generic art assets but they might help you develop something. Assuming you are still looking.

I think most of those are generic goobjects though, and can be found most anywhere in the world, so they probably don't embody actual Thalassian text.

I'm gonna have to agree with this. I doubt any sort of linguistic development could be worked out of the in game things.
