THE PATH OF THE HORDE

Episode 1: Mana'gal's Struggle

Time: February 23, 1 PM Server
Location: The Den in Durotar

Episode Focus: Mana'gal is getting dangerously close to her 20th birthday, and she and her grandfather anticipates elders preparing to watch her as she takes her rite of passage. If she fails her rite, she would become a peon--the first in the Blindthunder clan, which would bring shame to her only family left. To prepare, Mahen'tosh forces his granddaughter to do a test run as if he is the watching elder... but how will Mana do for her practice?

Event: Players can gather and either coach Mana'gal in how to hunt, or emote (or .morph into) any of the beasts she will hunt after. This is a seemingly casual event that will lead to a greater story. All players who hope to get involved with the Path will get a chance to discover their identity as a member of the Horde.



NEXT EPISODE: Anyone who signed up can declare themselves available. Seeing how many players disappeared, however, Episode 2 is up for grabs.

I don't wanna be greedy and grab Episode 2, but if noone else does, I'll volunteer it. Debating if Madugo or Du'guro's story should start first though.

Do I have to be signed up with the Path to join these events?

No you don't. The signups are for who gets to have an episode that solely revolves around them as a 'lead character'. I know several players have left COTH without my knowing, so I may have signups open again.


You're otherwise free to join (as Garridan would put it) as 'side characters to a hero's story'.

Garridan would be offended if you implied someone on the list was a main character. Now to read the list to see if there -is- a main character.

They should vary, because the focus characters' players are the ones setting up the best time. I just set up what is my best time for Mana'gal.

Something came up. During that hour, I have to cover students not usually that time. I may have to push back the event by 2 hours, so instead of 1 PM, it's 11 AM.

Does that inconvenience anyone?

11AM actually works better for me, because it gives me more time to RP before the kids get home.

Oh, and 11AM is -way- more convenient for me.

I am waken up early this morning... not so I can prepare for the event, but so that I would have to run errands with my stepmother.

There is no guarantee there will be an event today, as I am unsure if the errands will run into the hours of free time I have left before I go to work. In that case, I'm rescheduling it for next week, 11 AM still.
