The Ship sails peacefully for days, there have been some troubles on the way but nothing they couldn't over come. The different members of the crew were getting along until they realized this was...

Not A Game

The boat has been sailing for days, Idle shrapnel and wooden planks sprinkle the water. They are pushed out of the way by the Phoenix Dawn, as they sail more planks are seen. Masts, and even sails. An arm floats sticking out of the rising waves. "Zariel! Look!" A voice calls out as he blinks to the other side. He looks to the arm, as another scream is heard. "Two more over here!" A shrill voice is called out as two more dead bodies bump against the boat. More sprinkle in the distance, hanging on to shrapnel in the water. An elf slowly stands up observing in the distance, her ears lower. "....Oh....my...." A large roar is heard. Sleeping members of the crew wake up, as guards and other mercenaries grab their weapons. A few run to ready the cannons as they sail forward passed the corpses, passed the debris of shattered ships. Zariel grits his teeth. "We can do this!" He calls out into the rain. "Get ready!" he screams as the beast continues roaring.

The OOC

First Boss fight, of the journey. By this time some of the characters have bonded and have either became friends or enemies. The ship at this point would have made considerable distance and would be probably south of Tanaris. There will be special bonuses for those using cannons and whoever can't attack can always help to keep the ship steady. There also a few ways this can go. There will be a choice of fight or flight where we can try to sneak away using the generator or fight it out with the creature. Choice depends on the chars available and what they wish to do. Will be a mass roll fight. So the turns wont go between each individual to keep things moving. Also depends on where things head in RP.

Event today. There are also a few members who have frequented the ship but aren't listed here. I'd like to put your name on the Crew list so if you RP someone on the Voyage that isn't listed please let me know so I can fill that out and update it, please.

The ship had been sailing for a while now, things were starting to develop as thy sailed across the ocean. They were making good time with the Phoenix Dawn, mercenaries, travelers, sailors and Novalight family members one by one answered Zariel's call to travel the vast ocean. Zariel had learned from his Uncle that his family lied about their history. Novalights were home tutored and litterally brainwashed to care first for the family, selflessly and to remember their ancestor Jidaeo Novalight. Zariel found out Thousands of years ago their family hated the original Jidaeo as he was a commoner who fell in love with a noble. His views were idealistic, and benefited all not just the family. This thinking wasn't advantageous for a family wanting to establish themselves in Silvermoon's budding history.

Their family wished death upon Jidaeo and his Daughter who changed the family name to Novalight. They wished for these thoughts to not leak into the rest of the family. As the story is told both died of old age, and out of honor it was taboo to name another child Jidaeo. This was found out to not be true as well. It was the family's decision to never bring back the name of the one who ruined their family. Their true deaths are a mystery, however before he disappeared he left a few items and clues to those who understood his views...

It was also relayed only to the four suns, of what happened to the wedding of Lord Leron Silverfang. Apparently his fiance was kidnapped along with another. The culprit according to one on the vessel is a Redis Taylor, someone the Novalights have never encountered. This looming presence may pose an issue in the future but there is no need for panic, so the information rests safely with the Four Suns and the Source.

Running out of supplies the ship heads for Tanaris to resupply in Gadgetzan. While making a shortcut they run into a Ship Graveyard presumably inhabited with the spirits of the lost tormented souls. As they continued they saw a ship larger then theirs shattered to debris by a large Threshadon. A close battle was fought as many were injured a few almost died being thrown from the ship. Finally they make towards Tanaris but this was all only the beginning

- Update -

The Phoenix Dawn is cloaked outside of Tanaris being maintained by the NPC crew. Or your characters could've remained behind as well. Saturday they headed to Gadgetzan for supplies which have been succesfully delivered to the ship. A select few have made it to a cave in Un'goro ( you could've been in this Select few if your character wanted to go but you weren't present at the time. ) Zariel has come down with a serious illness and has been laying down in the cave being looked over by Thalion and Riael ( and possibly your character ) Going to stay in Un'goro for a little bit because its a cool zone. They are in the Retreat, the cave with the glowing crystals. Its ICly a random cave.

"Wake up! Zariel!"

A phrase repeated over and over again as the young elf lays in the illuminated cave of glowing crystals. It has been 26 hours since he was last conscious and he doesn't seem to be getting any better. Light Alleviates him from stress visible by the reducing tension in his face but he doesn't wake up, nor does he respond consciously. In his sleep, he stirs under his older brother Thalion's cloak. Sometimes he groans while he stirs, some time he shivers and others he sweats. The crystals begin glowing in the cave brighter. It becomes apparent to the crew that he has more than just a common cold.

It is up to you to find a solution.

The dolls were made, after long hours of work, Redis saw them and said "That's good."

He spent time in researching after the ship that housed the Novalight's venture, and that it contained a ley-line anchor, and said "That's good."

Now, he takes his time to locate the proper link, so that his dolls may visit the Phoenix Dawn. Oh, and he supposes he'll throw Gale in there, too. He's been rather annoying.

(( Minievent occurring sometime tonight around 6pm server time. Might be sooner or later, as we're trying to get more people on as possible. Shouldn't take too long, I'd say a hour. ))

Due to activity, and the actions of a few characters the Voyage will be post-pwned. Hurr. Nah in seriousness The ship will be docked and then serviced. I'm sure somewhere in the story the ship will be used again. The voyage itself may begin again but as of Now Zariel feels he can do it by himself. So he will still be traveling but just not with so many people. Still interested in continuing shoot me a PM or something sorry for anyone this inconveniences and thank you for your support and participation.
