My only concern with the group is that it sometimes seems a bit difficult to get into the roleplay. I've logged in a couple of times to roleplay, have asked if anyone was interested, and was bombarded with responses about how SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED, TOO MUCH HAS HAPPENED TO TELL ME. I'm not necessarily concerned with past events (especially since my characters weren't present); I just would like to roleplay.

Also, no one really advertises when events are from what I have seen. I always seem to be missing them or logging in just after.

It could also be that I'm logging in to the characters at a guild downtime, but it has definitely soured my interest a little! Otherwise, Forsaken love is Forsaken happiness.

I'm . . . honestly not sure where those responses came from, to be frank. xD Generally speaking, when somebody logs in and asks for RP, we just tell them where we are and what we're doing. Admittedly, yes, so much has happened with the guild in recent months, but I make sure people are briefed IC, rather than bombarded with information (or lack thereof) in OOC channels.

(However, if you were logging in at the times when we were using a phased Fenris Keep to RP in, then some infodumping would've been necessary before a character could make their entrance, given that our usage of said area was directly tied to a then-ongoing event chain. In that case, I can only apologise that it bothered you. :P)

My rule of thumb for starting events is "Hey, there's enough people online. LET'S HAVE AN EVENT". Very rarely are they planned ahead in advance, and if they are, it's because the plot demands them. Typically, it's a matter of ad-libbing a rough idea into something that lasts and entertains for two hours.

I'm looking at changing this once our current plotline is wrapped up, but nonetheless, I can imagine it's inconvenient for most. Habitually, we spend an hour or so advertising said event in LFG in case anyone else wants in, but that's no good if you're not online in the game.

This probably contributes, yes. I actually can't recall the last time I saw you online on Petres. Nonetheless, it may help to note that we're actually emerging from a sort of stupor when it comes to activity - after an extremely active first month and an awfully quiet second, we're starting to get people active again.

I can't do anything but recommend this guild with my whole heart, it gave me a great kickstart with my new forsaken. I've also seen nothing but great folks in the guild so far.

Also, this may be a good thread and moment to announce that i'll be away for the easter. Gonna go on holiday to the northlands (the northern part of sweden) this Thursday. And i might be away for a week, i "might" return earlier thou, depends on the amount of snow up north. (no snowmobile-weather=no fun)

Two things!

One, the much-belated finale event for our Ascension plotline should be occurring on either Wednesday or Thursday at 11am server time, however soon the server's back up. From there on, we'll be looking at getting stuck into a new event chain starting next week, with shorter but more regular events.

Two, we now have a Skype group! This is mainly to help us coordinate for events and RP seeing as a lot of people have had trouble getting on at the right times (given our tendency to just run plot-relevant events off the wing if enough people happen to be on). If you're in the Harvest and not already in the group, if you could drop me a line with your contact information, it'd be swell.
