I'm officially off my RP break, but I still will have to declare a drop in activity due to graduation coming up and my mental (and now physical) health being crappy. Still no events for now, and I'm afraid I can't help in any more until I graduate. Until then, I have to focus on getting more sleep and taking care of myself.

Yep, I'm feeling--specifically--an in-game burnout. While I still love RP and would like some more during my free time, I'd like to take a game break. Here's why:

1.) Lately, computer is choking more than usual. I just updated a few programs and it probably affected my performance. I intend to do some cleanup of not only files and programs, but organization as well. That means there may be nights where I won't even have Skype up. 1 GB of RAM, that program alone eats up 77+ K of MB. Holy damn. I think it has to do with my IM history. Might as well clean that up too.

2.) Latency is still a kick in the male bits. The times I would come in-game would be plagued by DC after DC, leaving me too angry, frustrated, and tired to RP.

3.) For the times I am on Skype, I would prefer this over in-game for a while. In-game RP requires a different kind of concentration than in Skype, plus there is a demand of real-time response in-game wherease Skype (usually) does not--meaning I can multitask on Skype because of a busy life.

4.) I'm just sick of RPing Kapre and Mahen'tosh for a while (even though I love them both). At the same time, I'm not exactly motivated to RP my other characters in-game. That changes when I'm in Skype, probably because I'm not looking at the character model. At the same time, I can RP more than one character at once. On Skype, I can RP one scenario with Kapre, Kantado, Tibalan, Mahen'tosh, Mana'gal, and Dr. Dino all at the same time just absolutely fine. Don't believe me? I challenge you.

5.) In general, I'm tired of WoW RP. No, I'm not tired of RPing with characters and concepts. I'm just tired of -WoW-.




In general, I'm facing yet another in-game WoW RP burnout. I still intend to do the TLE Fundraiser Mini-Event tomorrow, mostly because of schedules and storylines. But after that, my in-game RP break is put into effect for a week. If you see me in-game, it's to do something OOC like helping another player, taking screencaps for "Lost in a Song", or puppetting NPCs.

My break will only be a few days to a week. Exceptions will be the TLE event as well as an Atilio ("Lost") event sometime this weekend. Otherwise, no casual RP or other events. If you need my characters in-game IC for any reason (like a character emergency), then hit me up in Skype.

Actually, I just want Skype RP. Just Skype for a while. My Skype (if you don't have it) is 'imagenashyun'. My forum name, no capitals.

Once more, this is a request for everyone to avoid asking me to come in-game for RP.

I have a commission that has taken me a near literal year to finish. Life in general has just about prevented me from doing any meaningful progress, be it work, family, or an art block. But the person whom this commission is for is going through a rough patch the last time I heard from her, plus it was her birthday not long ago. I REALLY need to finish this commission. It's not just character art, it's a full background-foreground-shading-and-lighting art piece, which demands--even if I had no work and school--at least a week to complete.


With the holidays battering me mercilessly, plus storylines I gotta lead, I want to take a break and fully concentrate on this commission until its completion. It's almost done--the characters are scanned and colored, and the major props are completed in lineart. Now all I have to do is give it a nice background and color that too. If I pace myself and life is merciful, I can get the whole thing done in less than three days.

I know I promised a lot of people RP. If you want it, Skype, PM, or even Googledocs only. NO IN-GAME, PLEEEAAAAAAAAAASE. WoW.exe eats up my computer performance, and I have to pay attention to the chatbox and surroundings as opposed to an instant-message popup sound telling me there is a response.

Once the commission is done, I'll show it to you guys in the art forum. I'm really proud of this one by far, especially because it's focused on one of my most favorite eras in U.S. history.

Make that break longer than 3 days.

Something at work is demanding my attention wherein I wouldn't be able to focus on COTH in general at all. My goal is to finish that something in about 2 days.

For this reason, I'll be dividing my non-work/family/chore hours on the commission and an assignment from work.
