Alright, here's the deal.

I was playing MC Singleplayer some time ago. Then, all of a sudden, it stopped working. I run it, then I try to get in the game itself, it loads and then a black screen appears and the game crashes. It creates some error logs about Java thing and it refuses to work. I tried reinstalling Java, reinstalling Minecraft (all kinds of versions), yet it just refuses to work. Any suggestions? The only thing I came up with was to reinstall my Win (which I have to do soon anyway, but I don't feel like it just now...)

Note: Java and GPU drivers are up to date. Force Update of MC also didn't work. Makes me think it's some Java issue...

Note2: I just noticed that the error log claims that I am running Win XP, which is completely false. I am with Win 7 Ultimate x64...

What everyone is saying in this thread, is to uninstall Java 32 bit, and make sure you install 64 bit.

FIRST, however, uninstall the java you do have, and search for JRE, then find the install for Java 64 bit.

That's what I've gathered from this thread. There's some other crap about the graphics card, but from what I remember this should take care of that error completely rather than messing with all that jazz.

Well, I'll be damn... I am one step closer to making it work! Now it's stuck on Mojang screen, but at least it kind of works! I am ashamed I didn't consider my Java is 32bit. I mean, I am learning Computer Networks for the past five years now... anywho, thanks again, Rensin, I will make it from here. :)

Just tell me what version is the CotH server running and I might even join for some MCing... :)
