What a long title...anyways! This was a little (er...by little I mean huge) quiz post Qaza, a past GM, posted on the forums way back in the day. It was very fun to go through, and very interesting to read the filled out posts of others as well. It's been posted on the wiki as well. Perhaps some of you have already made one for your char/s. Lets see em? Have fun!

Here's the post from Q! At least one word is missing, due to funky code characters ruining it. That shouldint affect it much though.

This is LOOONG, but it's a lot of fun to do! It's an awesome tool for character development. (Ignore the use of "he", the author just used it as a default.) I've omitted and added here and there to have it fit the Warcraft universe a bit better.

Not much muscle to her, but in good shape.

Active and somewhat fast.

Graceful, even making a point of it in some cases to be so.

Clothing with design or unusual decoration. Purple and golds. Full length, expensive dresses. Necklaces and other accessories for the neck.

New and expensive.

Yes, she hates clothing that is too loose.

Is he comfortable in what he wears or does he fight his clothes?
Comfortable.

Does he have to dress a certain way because of his job or position? If so, do his usual clothes fit his real, basic character?
Yes. She has had to adopt a darker, monotone color scheme and simple, undecorated style. It dosint fit her, and she makes a point for herself to find her own time to dress more comfortably.

Voice

Does he speak in a high or low-pitched voice? When might he be higher than usual? When lower?
Her voice is a little high. Having fun, even at someone's expense gets a higher tone from her. She rarely speaks in low tones until stealth and sneaking is called for.

Is he a loud or soft-talker?
Leaning towards loud, but not obnoxiously so.

Is there a wide range in the voice in pitch, volume, and/or quality, or is the voice pretty consistent and even?
Yes.

Is there an accent? Anything unusual in pronunciation, emphasis, phrasing?
There's no 'proper' tone to her, and she shortens some words and uses slang.

Is the speech clear or muddy? Does he mumble, is he distinct?
Very clear. She only mumbles when thinking out loud, something she has a habit to do.

Mind

Does he think quickly? Slowly? Is he quick-witted? Dull?
Quick and quick-witted.

Is the character impulsive or deliberate in reaching conclusions? Is he logical, rational, or emotional?
She gives in to impulse very often, but she is deliberate as well. She is emotional.

Extreme introvert

Generally, no. Liking is a new concept she feels for a few people recently.

Does he have many friends? Any close friends?
Not enough friends to count on one hand, as it's difficult to gain that kind of status with her.

If her blood actually was as hot as she acted, she'd have melted by now...

Does he have a narrow or wide range of emotions? Do they show?
Narrow, and she does show them.

Callused

Indifferent, actually.

She'd run -to- it.

She enjoys joking, especially at the expense of someone else.

Until the person proves some worth to her, she's normally cruel to others.

Love for another isint a concept she knows at all yet.

She is capable, if she ever learns about loving others. She's more likely to stomp hearts to bits though.

She has alot of wealth, earned through 2 1/2 years of work with Consortium Ethereals. It dosint provide respect for her though.

Very clumsy when it comes to dealing with macro movements such as walking up stairs. However, he is very good at concentrating on smaller movements such as tinkering.

Nervous when threatened, mostly.

A covering robe with a fashionable metal 'fishbowl' helmet.

He does find himself comfortable but sometimes it disagrees with him.

The way he dresses tends to assist in him maintaining an ambiguous figure which helps when people dislike Sin'dorei.

When he is excited he would show is in full force and act upon it. When he is nervous he would slowly back away out of the situation.

"Hold onto this for me" which can be summed down to giving someone a box with a fizzing fuse and walking away very fast.

Physical

Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well? Is he crooked? Overall his posture is well. While he stands straight, his lack of confidence is noticeable in his slouched shoulders and usually clasped hands.

Is he in good shape or out of condition? Is he muscularly weak or strong? He is pathetically weak with little muscle to his name. He focuses on his appearance and chooses how he will work to better his appearance. He usually works his legs more than any area and they're pretty much the only part of him that isn't a twig.

How is his health? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? His health is well considering his death and resurrection. While he has no physical abnormalities, save for a few scars, he has more emotional and mental trauma he has been coping with.

Is he physically active or sedentary? A fast or slow mover? His fight-or-flight response is usually that of flight. He will take off running at the first sight of danger unless certain others are there. Because of his need to run from and avoid conflicts, he can be swift when running and can scale trees rather quickly. However, if he does get up in a tree, it will take him a very long tie to get down.

Is he clumsy? Awkward? Graceful? When scared, everything about him is awkward (Protip: he's scared 84% of the time). If in one of those moments in which he has confidence in himself and those around him, he can become much more graceful.

Is he physically tense or relaxed, nervous, controlled? He is generally seen as the embodiment of nervousness. His hands and legs shake, his ears go back, and his head goes down as soon as he becomes nervous or scared. He may try to mask the fear, but overcompensate when doing so. He will stand straight, stick his chest out, put his arms back, and sometimes stand on the tips of his toes to reach eye level of whomever he is speaking to.

Clothing

What are their favorite articles of clothing? Before he died, his favorite article of clothing was an iron collar. He hated it at first because it marked him as a slave. Over time it gave him a connection to his master. He's an odd one.

Are their clothes new or old? Homemade, hand-me-downs, expensive? Every piece of clothing he wears he makes by hand. He is a skilled tailor with years of experience. It is one of the few fields he has confidence in.

Do his clothes fit well? He makes his clothes to fit as he wants.

Is he comfortable in what he wears or does he fight his clothes? His main goal is comfort, practicality, and style. While his outfits sometimes aren't too practical, he will try to have at least two outfits that are combat ready.

Does he have to dress a certain way because of his job or position? If so, do his usual clothes fit his real, basic character? He generally wears anything that appeals to the most important person in his life, Keyus. If he wears something that may cause people to raise brows, then he's trying to get a compliment from Keyus. It generally works.

Voice

Does he speak in a high or low-pitched voice? When might he be higher than usual? When lower? His pitch is high for a male, almost that of a prepubescent boy. Because of this, and his appearance, he's generally mistaken for a girl. He may try to lower the pitch when trying to be intimidating when passing an order.

Is he a loud or soft-talker? He is very soft spoken and hardly ever raises his voice.

Is there a wide range in the voice in pitch, volume, and/or quality, or is the voice pretty consistent and even? He has a wide voice range when singing, though he will never sing in front of others. He's generally self-conscious of his voice and exceedingly nervous when speaking to certain people. In most cases he will speak quietly to the point of incoherent mumbling.

Is there an accent? Anything unusual in pronunciation, emphasis, phrasing? Only when he becomes nervous will he put odd inflictions and syllable stress on words.

Is the speech clear or muddy? Does he mumble, is he distinct? If he is confident, his words are clear and his choice in words will be casual. Once he becomes nervous or scared, he will stutter and mumble. It can become annoying since it is generally impossible to tell what he is saying.

Mind

Does he think quickly? Slowly? Is he quick-witted? Dull? Despite his nervousness, he is a quick thinker and a fast learner. He thinks poorly under pressure and will usually stumble on his own thoughts and forget how to do something.

Is the character impulsive or deliberate in reaching conclusions? Is he logical, rational, or emotional? He is usually impulsive in his choices. His choices can be seem as illogical in that he is overly emotional and his emotions influence his choices.

Emotions and Personality

Is he an extrovert, an introvert? He is typically very introverted. This is mainly because the world isn't how he wants it to be, so he will live in his own little world.

Does he like people? He loves most people. He can be anyone's friend when given the chance, but on the flip side, he can become a bitter enemy.

Does he have many friends? Any close friends? he has a wide range of acquaintances and a select few close friends. Those that are closest to him he sees as family.

              Kapre: Straight, very confident but relaxed, with a strong sense of presence. He carries himself very well.

              Dino: His back is straight the best he could, but it tends to be arched to balance his weight as he stands due to muscular dystrophy and weak bones. He doesn't need his cane to stand on two feet for a brief moment (the longest he's stood is about a minute), but that puts strain on his legs, so he'd need to sit.

              Jami: Relaxed and confident, carried well. Sometimes a hip juts out.


Is he in good shape or out of condition? Is he muscularly weak or strong?

              Kapre: He's in very good shape, and he works out. He is nowhere as burly as a typical draenei, however.

              Dino: Very thin all around, but far from frail. To compensate his lower body weakness, Dino works his upper body enough to pull his weight around, so he does a lot of climbing.

              Jami: Overweight and chubby. She has a wide pot belly. She tuckers out a bit easily if she exerts too much energy, but she never feels angry or sad about it.

              Kapre: Nothing physical except for his chronic derp. Maybe.

              Dino: Muscular dystrophy, as detailed above. He also has amblyopia; craters of all shapes, sizes, and depths all over his skin; facial deformities such as a misaligned nose and chin; malformed pallet; and long, crooked teeth. All of these came from birth.

              Jami: She's in fair health, though with the typical drawbacks of mild (clinical) obesity.

              Kapre: He's a bit on the slower side, if for his height than his weight. He tends to rely on power and wit more than speed when in dangerous situations... unless it's to hide from demons. Then he's as fast as lightning, yo.

              Dino: Generally slow, thanks to being a cripple. But put him on all fours, he's a slippery fellow, and he's a faster crawler than he's a walker. But like the demon example with Kapre, this is used for hiding, not fighting.

              Jami: She's a bit fast despite being a fatso. Then again, it could be just the arcane talking.

              Kapre: A bit on the clumsy side. Mostly cuz he's huge.

              Dino: Before being a cripple, he was very graceful and lithe. In regards to today, this only applies to his upper body.

              Jami: Graceful. Must be all dat belly dancing.

              Kapre: Usually relaxed.

              Dino: Controlled and very self-aware.

              Jami: Also relaxed.

              Kapre: Shirts. He likes the many styles of upper body clothing as worn by humans, so the number of shirts vastly outnumber any other article. OOC, I have two bags completely devoted ONLY to the many shirts Kapre wears (in contrast, he has only 3 pairs of pants and 2 boots).

              Dino: Long coats, either lab coats or jackets. They're mostly to hide his legs without resorting to a skirt or robe (IC, at least).

              Jami: Fancy, highly elaborate robes, gowns, and dresses, especially if they expose the belly. Oh, and jewelry, especially bangles.

              Kapre: Generally new but inexpensive.

              Dino: Generally old. He'll reuse the same wardrobe for years if he has to.

              Jami: New and holy-crap-expensive. They tend to be tailored to her shape.

              Dino: Generally, but he sometimes wear loose clothing too.

              Kapre: Comfortable.

              Kapre: The clothes he wear changes depending on what he's doing--if he's working, it's typical civilian clothing, or if doing shaman work, to draenic robes. His usual clothes fit his real, basic character.

              Dino: The clothes he wears do not necessarily indicate him as a doctor unless he's in Hearthglen (which he wears a white long coat regularly), as they're fitted for all around travel. As a result, he tends to look suspicious to a stranger, especially when wearing his mask (which resembles a plague doctor mask but modified).

              Jami: She wears fancy robes, no ifs, ands, or buts. She'll look good casual, formal, even sleeping.

              Kapre: His pitch is mid-range (baritenor), but it raises when he's scared or sad, and lowers when he's angry.

              Dino: Tenor. The pitch almost never changes.

              Jami: Mezzo-soprano. Raises when she's excited, and it almost never lowers at all.


Is he a loud or soft-talker?

              Kapre: Soft when speaking to an individual, booming loud to a group and especially a crowd.

              Dino: Soft by default, but Lord help you if you get him angry, he'll blow your eardrums out.

              Jami: Middle.

              Kapre: His range has a very wide range. By default, it can be described as crisp and clear, which compliments his eloquence. This all changes depending on how he's feeling; when he's fearful, the voice is shaky and strained; when sad, it warbles despondently; when angry, it's low, restrained, and strangely calm. Kinda like a volcano waiting to blow up.

              Dino: Dino's voice seems to have two different personalities, usually depending on the gender (and at times, race) of the individual he's facing. When around other men, Dino's tone can be described as dry, irritable, cold, and aloof. When around women (especially Annabelle), he turns a 180 to being bright, warm, and cheery.

              Jami: Regardless of her emotions and the company she keeps, Jami's pitch and tone remains silky smooth and joyous. It changes some when she becomes angry, but it only sounds firmer.

              Kapre: His draenic accent is fairly thick, but there is a hint of Nagrand orcish due to his many years as a translator for the Bleeding Hollow orcs.

              Dino: Speaks with a Kul Tiran accent. Due to having a malformed pallet and crooked teeth, he has a serpentine lisp, so his sibilants (S's and Z's) sound like "zhhhh".

              Jami: She has a Quel'danas Thalassian accent, but a bit of dwarven influenced hers over the years being married to Hrodebert.

              Dino: Occasionally mumbles, but only when going off on an annoyed tirade.

              Dino: He's very fast on his (mental) feet, highly quick-witted, and very calculated. He never makes any moves without thinking of the variables on the outcome first.

              Jami: Neither quick nor slow. She's more observant than pro-active in putting forth her thoughts.

              Kapre: Deliberate when given time. When put on the spot, he can be very emotional and even irrational.

              Kapre: Very extroverted. Kapre can't stand being alone.

              Jami: Was introverted for a time after she took in the fel after the destruction of the Sunwell and the Blood Elves' change in alliance, but that has dropped by now. She's definitely an extrovert now.

              Kapre: Absolutely! Even if they're of the opposite faction, Kapre will try to befriend everyone he meets.

              Dino: He likes women and loathes men. No, it's not because he wants to bang every girl he comes across (his bits no longer work anyway). He just finds men insufferable. Including himself.

              Jami: Very much, especially if the individual is a Tauren.


Does he have many friends? Any close friends?

              Kapre: He has several close friends, many of them even among the Horde. He is also very close to his employees and does his best to take care of them. Reigen, Thragash, Rhozak, and Gornak are among the current regulars he meets with (goddamn, three are orcs).

              Dino: He has very few friends, but the few he has are dearly beloved by him to absolutely no end. Annabelle is currently considered his most dearest friend.

              Jami: She doesn't have too many, as she's still going around to meet with people since her isolation. Her best friend is her husband, Hrodebert.

              Kapre: Generally cool-headed.

              Dino: Ill-tempered, at least around men.

              Jami: Cool-headed.

              Kapre: Fairly wide. It tends to be around cheery or fearful. It rarely delves into sorrow and even less so for anger.

              Dino: Narrow in general. He's almost always irritable, annoyed, or angry. Put him with girls, his happier side shows.

              Jami: Narrow. Tends to be around cheery and happy. She shows some social anxiety, but that is mostly geared how people will view her marriage to a dwarf. This has lessened some, though.

              Dino: A bit calloused.

              Jami: Sensitive.

              Kapre: When it's danger directed at himself, he is prone to running away first (he has little faith in his own abilities). When others around him are in danger, all that faithlessness and cowardice is forgotten, and he will dive into the fire to save his loved ones.

              Dino: It depends on the danger itself. Dino is very weak a fighter up-close and personal, so the first thing he does is to either gain a distance or outright evade and hide. He won't ever try to fight unless he can distract or confuse the enemy first. Then he'll disable him before he shoots him.

              Jami: Danger? What's danger? Jami will fight head on, all while thinking you're the cutest monster she's ever met.

              Kapre: The only person Kapre ever plays pranks on is his sister. Kapre did have a mischievous side, but that was back when he had a family to play jokes on. He may do something to Cristovao, but he knows Cristovao will cave his crest in with his hammer.

              Dino: Dino can't tell a joke to save his life. He sucks at it.

              Jami: She prefers to laugh at jokes than make them.

              Kapre: Harm a loved one. Or call him 'fat'.

              Dino: Be a bad patient. Or a male.

              Jami: Hurt her baby. God help you.

              Kapre: Full of love and willing to share. His business is all about love.

              Dino: Tight and bound and too hurt to bother with love.

              Dino: Love will remain platonic for him. He feels he's too unhealthy and abhorrent to have any romantic kind of love, so he's in no rush or hurry to find a romantic partner. He's happy just seeing others in love.

              Jami: She has Hrodebert, which the two fought the storm hand-in-hand together. That's all the fluffy-gushy relating love you can get.

              Kapre: He only has enough money to support himself and his business. Most of his income comes from jewelcrafting, which most of it goes straight to The Love Exchange. It does provide him position and respect, as the funds give him the position as party planner and matchmaker.

              Dino: He has very little money. Prestige and position comes from being a doctor.

              Jami: She's comfortable as far as wealth goes, but not wealthy. Her family did have wealth, but she has lost connections with most of them.

              Kapre: He's a miser. He won't spend more than he needs, and he tends to opt for the cheapest available items even if quality is low.

              Dino: He's a simple man with simple needs. He only spends if it goes to his profession or for tinkering, especially for assisted living.

              Jami: While simple with everything else--house, food, travel, etc--most of her money goes to fancy clothing. She's not trying to show or prove she has money, he just likes looking good.

              Dino: Fairly low. He doesn't try to make himself the best doctor in the world. He just wants to get the job done.

              Jami: A bit low. Humble and simple.

              Kapre: His employees are under his command, foremost by word, as per matchmaking or party management duties. If he manipulates them, it's business-pragmatic manipulation, such as using payment as reward or lessening pay as punishment.

              Dino: He usually almost never gets any subordinates unless in situations where he needs assistants (often emergencies). Usually it's word, but if someone like a bad patient gets unruly, he'll manipulate... with a cane to the face.

              Jami: She has no one under her command except maybe her son. Cuz, you know, she's a mom.

              Dino: He was at one time subservient to The Red Glove and especially to his ex-lover Haydee and younger brothers Benedetto and Teobaldo. All of this is unwilling and unavoidable--he was kidnapped, deceived, beaten, and nearly killed. Since he ran away, he's entirely on his own.

              Jami: She is on equal grounds with her husband, and both she and Hrodebert do everything they can to never step out of bounds in respect to power distribution and authority.

Cristovao: Generally upright, but tends to slouch when out of his armor, just slightly. Either he's relaxed, or he's poorly disciplined.
Hrodebert: Casual with little thought given to his overall posture. Hrod just doesn't give a crap.
Aryeon: Shoulders back, chest up, spine straightened, he's the model of masculine posture. And then he hides it all under his draping cloak.

Is he in good shape or out of condition? Is he muscularly weak or strong?
Cristovao: Physically fit but otherwise unnotable. He can wrestle you well enough and swing his hammer, but don't expect him to throw down a Tauren.
Hrodebert: Great physical shape, and as strong as you'd expect a dwarf who lives out in the wilderness to be. Macho guy.
Aryeon: Out of shape and overweight, but still physically imposing. Rather than a beer gut, Aryeon is just flabby. The look of a man who was probably in shape when he was younger.

Cristovao: Physically fine, but his emotional health is on a tightrope.
Hrodebert: Great physical health, will sprint and heavy lift with ease.
Aryeon: Age is getting to him. He's poor at climbing over things and doesn't like to run.

Cristovao: Generally active. Routine work out is all. Obviously a plodder in his armor.
Hrodebert: Very active, always on the go. Quick and flexible no matter what he wears.
Aryeon: Always traveling, but never really physically active. Moves slowly, but that could be deliberate.

Cristovao: Not clumsy, but cumbersome. Cristovao is lacking in physical grace.
Hrodebert: Meticulously dextrous, especially with his hands. That said, he's undisciplined. A man whose gotten his grace from experience, not training.
Aryeon: Graceful as hell in his movements, everything he does has a sort of poetry about it, if a slow one.

Cristovao: Relaxed around friends, extremely tense and nervous around less savory company such as orcs and forsaken.
Hrodebert: Generally relaxed, but not hesitant to flip out on someone.
Aryeon: Relaxed and controlled. Aryeon is well disciplined and well mannered, and it takes exceptional circumstances to make him break out of his shell.

Cristovao: His armor. A remnant of his old life past, Cristovao can not let go of it. Specifically, he is partial to his Silver Hand surcoat.
Hrodebert: His wide-brimmed fedora, his red shirt, and his Wildhammer hunting garb.
Aryeon: His robes and cloak. Each one has a history to them that holds precious memories.

Are their clothes new or old? Homemade, hand-me-downs, expensive?
Cristovao: His clothes are generally new, and generally good-looking for a cheap price range. Doesn't shop much.
Hrodebert: Simple, cheap, and practical.
Aryeon: Custom tailored by his own hand, expensive in make, and nothing he has is newer than ten years.

Do his clothes fit well?
Cristovao Cristovao's pants tend to be tight. I guess Diwaata likes his bum.
Hrodebert: Loose fitting, just how he likes them.
Aryeon: They obscure his out of shape figure, which just goes to make him look even larger than he really is.

Cristovao: Prefers his armor to his clothes.
Hrodebert: Prefers to hunt in appropriate clothing, but isn't afraid to go at it in his shirt and trousers. Unless its his red shirt.
Aryeon: Aryeon does everything in his robes. Everything. Very comfortable.

Cristovao: Cristo's armor is his Silver Hand armor. His regular clothes he just wears because they look good.
Hrodebert: Hrod looks like a rancher. Which he is.

Cristovao: Medium pitch, likely a tenor through and through. It lowers when he becomes distressed or upset.
Hrodebert: Medium-low, and rough sounding. It doesn't raise or lower much, just gets loud.
Aryeon: Medium-low and eloquent. It raises when upset, which is a rarity.

Is he a loud or soft-talker?
Cristovao: Middle of the road.
Hrodebert: Loud and only capable of getting louder.
Aryeon: Soft spoken for the most part. Can get loud when needed, and when he does it shakes the room around him.

Is there a wide range in the voice in pitch, volume, and/or quality, or is the voice pretty consistent and even?
Cristovao: His voice becomes cold when distressed, and turns to shaky and barbed when frustrated and angry.
Hrodebert: When Hrod gets mad, the whole world hears it. All around his voice is rough and gravelly to hear.
Aryeon: Aryeon's voice is generally even all around, and even when angry, manages to keep it sophisticated and commanding.

Is there an accent? Anything unusual in pronunciation, emphasis, phrasing?
Cristovao: Cristovao's accent is a blob of different influences. His native accent is Lordaeron, which passes on when he tries to speak Thalassian. He has some dwarven mannerisms from keeping frequent company with them.
Hrodebert: Hrod's voice is very atypical of a dwarf's, being very concise and clear. His mannerisms are fairly dwarvish, though.
Aryeon: Aryeon's voice is nothing too strange, but he's become so used to speaking common that he often uses it even in the presense of other elves speaking Thalassian.

Cristovao: Usually clear. Becomes muddied when he's upset.
Hrodebert: Clear unless he's swearing a blue streak, which is an inaudible string of profanities.
Aryeon: Always clear, always distinct.

Cristovao: Quick to think, slow to act. Cristovao has a bad habit of taking too long to evaluate choices before acting on them, making them useless.

Cristovao: As long as you aren't a zombie or an orc! And maybe a blood elf.
Hrodebert: Hrod doesn't like you and thinks you're an idiot. Yes, especially -you-.
Aryeon: Aryeon's tolerance for other people is legendary, except for when it comes to his own race. It isn't so much their deeds that disgusts him, as it is how they ignore them like they were no big deal.

Cristovao: A few good friends, all of which are close to him. His closest friends are Matthew Hunter, Dalikan Godford, Grenalin Coldwind, Annabelle and Don Bronco, and of course his beloved Diwaata.
Hrodebert: Hrod has few friends, but the ones he does have are close to him. Caravan Fairwinds, Kepora Frazzletail, and looking to befriend a few Cenarion druids and vagabonds he met with in Stranglethorn Vale.
Aryeon: Aryeon has many friends, even among the most unexpected of company. His closest friends are Ralerian Darkdawn and Annabelle Bronco.

Cristovao: Forces himself to be cool-headed, but will quickly snap under the right circumstances.
