Feedback for Kage.

Alrighty, Kage. I'll give you some feedback since you're my buddy and all.

I've only RPed with Krest. He's a good character, but he has his kinks that tend to make me go "really?". The main time I saw it was when Krest and Amura went to visit Lenorius and Zeein about Leron's disappearance. Krest is someone who seems to demand respect but gives none in return and that, of course, set Lenorius off. I would honestly expect Krest to know who he's going to and how to approach those of nobility from being around Leron for such a long while, instead, he was trying to be the badass putting nobles in line or something. Tat might just be him, might work with Leron, but it just doesn't seem to be the best route. Dunno. Maybe I'd expect him to do a bit better with presentation. Aside from him trying to be verbally superior in the wrong places, he seems to be a very solid character.

I do remember some RP with Seena and Anees. The only bit I can offer here is that I'm not 100% sold on the split-personality thing. It's generally avoided because it can prove to be offensive to someone since so few people truly understand the disorder and don't present it properly. Though I do enjoy RP with Seena and Anees, I'd suggest making them two separate characters rather than two-in-one.

Kage.

I get you mixed up with a few people here on the forums, buuuut, I've made sure that this is what I've been wanting to approach you on for a while. Now, this may be the pot calling the kettle black, but I feel it could be some useful feedback for the future!

I want to comment on you OOCly more than RP wise, because in all honesty I cannot recall RPing with you (I'm sorry! I probably have, but I seldom know who I'm RPing with unless I regularly do so with them!), so, here it goes.

On the topic of heavy debates and getting your word out there---I know, almost as good as anyone else, how hard it can be to be heard when your opinion is in the minority. I notice you commenting in a lot of threads, most notably those that have to do with "More realistic" or "Anime" roleplays.

I hear you on your opinion, you believe that there isn't anything wrong with anime-like RP and stuff, however, that isn't the topic I wish to discuss.

How you get so dejected or seemingly disappointed when people disagree is. I know, it's disheartening to hear that people don't agree, BUT, that doesn't mean that your opinions are invalid or that the other person's opinions are invalid. It's a hard thing to think of, but when it comes to topics like there, -there is no right answer-.

This doesn't mean either that other people are out to get you. The communications between GM's and players will always be a frustrating thing---sometimes a miscommunication can really drive a wedge from the community between the people who run it. From what I've gathered with your absence post, it seemed as if you were disappointed with how things have been handled, but in reality nothing has really changed, despite people discussing in silly amounts "Serious realistic RP vs. Non-serious Amazing RP". I also don't think it's something you can enforce either way, other than judging it in a case by case basis.

Basically, don't get so disheartened. The community here is more open than I've ever seen, and while you may feel in the minority, I doubt very much so that you'll be put under something that is super-restrictive any time soon.

Have fun with it Kage! Don't sweat the debates, they really don't mean anything in retrospect.

Whereas I do agree with you about me taking things too seriously, the absence post was actually made because of people being rude. Really just one person (Who I'm sure many know, but I don't use names) and it bothers me.

But yes, I agree, I really shouldn't take it so seriously.

What do we know, what do we know. What I do know is that you take your RP about as seriously as you take everything else and I find that admirable. Keep truckin.

Get rid of the signature. It bothers me greatly.

Other than that.. you're a great buddy-person-to-rp-with-at-times-thngy-magic-elf. Keep doing it.
