The Return of the Far Wolf Clan

First and foremost, I give all credit to Duskwolf, former GM and Creator of this guild and concept. A few of my peers missed the -excellent- RP we had with this guild and would like to re-start it. I would -gladly- return this to him if were ever to return. Not trying to rip off an Idea but pay homage.

The two had fought before, the orc who was much younger at the time had trouble controlling his temper, appetite and lust for battle. He was an asset and liability. Because of this the Former High Wolf Rip'lah Deathscorcher exiled him from the clan. After much retribution he slowly returned although things weren't the same. Eventually over time the clan spread out, going their seperate ways. But after these years Maku Bonethunder II and Machk an elder druid finally met and decided it was time for the Far Wolf Clan to Roam once more.

The Return of the Far Wolf Clan

The Far wolf Clan Operate like a wolf pack for the horde, They excel in tracking, hunting and of course combat. They are a dangerous group deathly loyal to the horde and the clan members amongst themselves. The Far Wolves also handle some domestic disputes with their spiritual leaders, and druids. Full Fledged far wolves also represent the clan to other Horde aligned organizations. But there main goal is to maintain the rituals, ways of life and safety of the members of the Horde. The Far Wolves are composed primarily of Orcs, Shu'halo and Darkspear trolls. Elves and Forsaken possibly welcome if they can pass the trials and respect the way of life the Horde and Far Wolves wish to protect. The Far Wolves are against the alliance, no questions.

Words From Rip'lah

We spend much of our time raiding any and all enemies of the horde. Each new trophy we bring back to camp will bring us more and more honor. Rip'lah is searching out all his Orc brethren and his Troll cousins and Shu'halo spiritual guides to make new Clan traditions. We travel much, from place to place, where ever the horde needs us, but we always find a home around the campfire telling war stories. If any have family they are welcome to join us as well, and be protected by the whole clan as if they were their own kin.

High Wolf: Leader and Chieften of the Far Wolf Clan. Currently Held by Maku Bonethunder

Elder: These are the Chieften's advisors and the leaders of the Clan.

Champion: He is the Clan's Champion, he represents all that it means to be of the Farwolf Clan. He also leads the Pack Warriors into battle.

Pack Warrior: These are the pride of the Farwolf Clan, the elite warriors.

Wolf Scout: Those that go on ahead of the War party to gather information. They are also sometimes used for those mission that take a little more precision.

Far Wolf: Full fledged Far wolf members who passed the first trial.

Pup: Prospects who have yet to become fully initiated.

Trials

Trial of Blood: The Wolf mask is a far wolf's most prized possession. Their sacred and spiritual bond to their clan and the wolves who have perfected the way of the pack. These masks designate your position in the clan, and should be cared for with the utmost care and respect. -Every- Far wolf has one, be expected to wear it.

Trial of the Teeth: The Clan warriors must always keep their fangs and claws sharp, and their mind sharper. The clan will hold sparring matches called Honor Rites, after a certain number of Honor Rites are won the member will be elevated to a new Rank.

Trial of the Beast:
Long ago the original High Wolf and his clan made a pact with the Wyvern in Stonetalon to ride them, if worthy. Since the High Wolf's departure the pact has since dwindled but some of the Original members still honor this pact with their wyvern. When a Far Wolf is ready, he will venture into the mountains alone and attempt to bond with a wyvern to become his flying mount and companion in battle. Many Wolves die doing this, as wyvern are cunning and not subservient.

Trial of the Pack: This Trial is the most difficult to pass, and is ongoing until it is passed. This when a member has the unwavering trust of all the Clan members and has proven themselves time and time again to be proven worthy of a leadership role. The discussion will be held by other members in secret.

OOC:

The Far Wolves are really a clan about bonding, growth, exploration and fighting. Many days are spent by campfires getting to know the personalities of the members, as well as traveling to different zones and fighting in Campaigns. This guild doesn't have to be large, a handful of active members preferred but will not turn down anyone who really wants to participate. Going for old Horde RP and will be traveling cave to cave, place to place for places of 'residence' these will be displayed in the Guild Message.

Also TRP2 and GHI are used and encouraged, there are several links Duskwolf has left on the server to help us out. Such as a Hawk Messenger system that sends a messenger hawk from one place to another. ( Cannot be used as an intercontinental message sender, and is also not instantaneous ) There is a Fight roller we can tinker with and trial quests that may retrieve items. If you are good with GHI or TRP2 quests, or would like to help out or try your stuff, -please- join and help! RiffRaff will be able to help as well but the more the merrier! Yeah thanks for the interest. I'm going to run a little a couple sessions of new wolves joining and players getting to know each other before we start with the first campaign shouldn't be long as this isn't a guild that needs a large population just activity. I'm on EST and usually get off work around 2:30pm, so I'll be available around 12pm server time to 5 or 6 on weekdays. Also feel free to post from your far wolf's perspective in the dances with wolves storyline thread.
