Edited and made ever more corny...For your pleasure. Sit back, relax, and vent about my characters... Or just let the vent overheat and let it all out in a blaze of fire and glory. Though the former is often preferred.

Spoiler:

Corn plants, for your viewing pleasure.

Characters

Paulton 36 year old Priest. Originally from Redridge, but his order sent him to Gilneas; months later, the wall was being built, and for years Paulton was behind two walls. One in the kingdom, and one in his monastery. He's a devout follower of the Holy Light. He is very easily frightened.

Coden Goblin who works as a guard in his sister's toy shop. A former drug user, Coden now devotes his time to more constructive things; like keeping competition away, and bashing machinery to pieces. He's a bit sarcastic, and indeed greedy, but there's that small flame of compassion he has left for his sister.

Markuss This son of a gun is coming back. Soon

Gandin Gandin is finally back!

Writing

Am I articulate when I write? In role-play, on the forums? Posts too short, too many one-liners? Do I forget things? Is my grammar bad?

Other

Something I forgot to mention? Perhaps how I talk like a bumpkin, or how I make a caveman look good with technology?

Nothing but praise bud. For some reason when I think of dwarves on WOW Gandin comes to mind, yet he is still quite unique expecially in regards to the relationship with Sugar. I'll tie my thoughts concerning guild leadership in with my thoughts on Markuss. The number one thing I enjoy about the Appleflow Family is the the opportunities available for casual RP. This is something that is commonly overlooked by many guilds and you do it quite well. I've been unfortunate in that RL circumstances have prohibited me from partaking of most events but I have thoroughly enjoyed our interactions thus far. Markuss has become somewhat of an icon in my opinion. He fills a nitch that hasn't really been covered and I'm glad I've been able to wriggle my way into his progressing storyline... and his past storyline for that matter as well. As for your behavior OOCly and your abilities in regards to event collaborations, I'd call you a kindred soul... though I am not sure if that is a good thing or not ;p
Two thumbs up. Its been a pleasure.

@Niko: Thanks bud! Though are you sure I don't need improvement or anything?

Put it simply, it's like this:
Insufficient RP

I blame our timezones.

As for RP style and event making... I miss Markuss. Hope that encompasses it all.

I think that you have done an awesome job with The Appleflow Family so far, and you put a lot of effort into it. It's also the spitting image of what comes to mind when I think, "farmer family far out in Westfall." You've really nailed that concept, and the character of Markuss. I also think that you've done a very good job at running the guild from what I've seen. The only thing the guild needs is more player involvement, because it seems that there are only a few of us playing multiple, guild-involved characters. Maybe you should advertise recruiting?

On the note of you playing Dwarves, I think you've always been able to play them very well, paying attention to their lore and incorporating it into your characters. To address Ulfis:

Quote:Ulfis A Dwarven 'Adventurer' of sorts who prefers chasing the tails of 'exotic' women. His wife and child are long gone due to disease, and he's on a constant search of what to do with his life.

I think that you do a very good job of portraying him as an 'adventurer', but I never noticed that his wife and child were dead; I haven't seen this part of his history come through in his personality, and I'd like to.

Other than that, I think you're a cool guy and a great RPer, and I'm looking forward to being involved in whatever RP you contrive in the future.

Markuss. He's a madman! He shot Allaia, nearly killed an elf on the road and managed to piss off Cassie! They should throw him into the stockades, as well as his fourteen children! .. What can I say? He's good fun. None of my toons can really get along with his way of thinking, but despite that the RP's I've had with you playing him were great.

I can't offer anything constructive when it comes to feedback I'm afraid, as there's nothing I'd like to see improved. OOC-wise you are really easy to talk to, and I feel we have pretty much the same mindset when it comes to a lot of things.

In other words; Just keep being you!

Be back in less than a week; and then? Event!

*Ahem* Before I bore you more with the details, I'd like some feedback before I jump back in.

Markuss is an overpowering parental figure and repeats himself a lot. He's constantly pushing his rustic views upon people and his stubbornness is rivaled only by Mekkatorque's boundless optimism.

Now for some 'constructive' feedback: Don't keep asking/apologizing for his IC antics. If it bothers someone, it's on them to let you know in my opinion.
The true test of his choice lies forward.

I love Markuss but the only real event I went to I snapped a guy's neck because he dared to attack a "Prophet of the light"... that was -really- fun...

Complaints: Just that we don't RP together as much as I would like >.<

Feedback, feedback... I've never been too good at this, but I feel it's earned.

Markuss is a mighty fine character, in my opinion. He is overly protective of his (Fourteen!?) children which makes for some utterly hilarious RP. His debates between Mathias, Which essentially equate to 'Yes' and 'No' back and forth, never seem to grow drawn out or stale.

I'm trying to scour my mind for advice to improve, but truth be told the only thing I can think of is... well, nothing. Damnit, I'm no good at these!

Never the less, thank you for the RP Vladdy. It's been great so far and I'm looking forward to more in the future.

You know I adore Paulton. I've felt quite lucky to RP so extensively with him, and poke at his facets. While hilarious, he definitely isn't a joke character. Am I correct in assuming, like Markuss, Paulton reflects certain figures or concepts in your life?

That praise aside--I really recommend you flesh out a profile for him. I'm curious about his views on the Light and where they come from and why they're so strict. The thing about the Light is that it's very accepting--at least in "modern" Azeroth. Therefore, I have to wonder what sect would enforce so many vows, or if the sect doesn't, where Paulton got the idea that they were so harshly necessary.

As it was only last night, you'll remember I got to RP with Hamilton! As said before, his accent needs work. He sounds like a draenei, heh. And, that's all I really have for him, since I've only seen him once.

As far as your behavior goes--you're a great guy, and your presence is a unique one on this server.

@c0rzilla: Correct about Paulton. Working on a profile for him and some other characters, but it'll take some time and all. Hamilton? Yes, his accent needs work. Accents are a bit tricky for me, y'see.

Quote:So! What do you think would get me real out of my comfort zone, Geo?

Well. The races that I think you're comfortable with are Humans, Worgen, and Dwarves.

But I also think that your comfort zone is playing characters who are very strongly held to their beliefs, which allows for plenty of interesting drama and funny moments. Be it a priest or a farmer who is dedicated to his or her way of life, that's what I think you're comfortable playing.

So...out of your comfort zone? Anything that isn't one of those races I listed above, and a character that isn't firmly held to his or her beliefs, may that be a religion, or a set of traditions, or a lifestyle he or she is comfortable with.
