Broken world, broken elements

Uyendu the Wellwaker Wrote:This is the "Land of Wind", at least to the orcs. Nagrand to others. Now tell me, where is that wind?

The elements of Draenor have been in an uproar ever since the world was torn apart by Ner'Zhul. Years later they have yet to calm down it seems and rages against any who interacts with them. Shamans have been unable to call upon the elements and some have done so risking their lives.

OOC - This storyline will differ a bit from the previous ones. You, the players, get to decide the content of the events based on In Character action and interactions. There will be a deadline of six events until the final concluding event of the storyline. How it ends, all depends on what choices you make and how successful you are!

Synopsis 6/6
The elemental spirits of Outland are in general more difficult to deal with than those of Azeroth. But one shaman was burnt by the flames he called upon. Another shaman was thrown off Telredor when she called upon the aid of wind.

A few shamans claim to hear a loud wail upon the winds in Terokkar.

In search of his beloved shamaness Nexariel, the anchorite has led his flock to the Throne of the Elements. There they came upon a seer of the Earthen Ring that told them the draenei's possible fate. He also told them that they can be of help by trying to mend the balance between the elements, suggesting they start out by aiding him in Zangar when he calls upon the pilgrims.

Indecisiveness, infighting and major confusion led to the pilgrims' inaction in Zangar. Some turned to the Wellwaker for answers he did not have, others lost the perspective and speculated upon saving the entire marshland. One thing is clear and that is the need of clarification.

Orvisha the orcish shaman braved upon the Throne of the Elementals, seeking audience with the Earthen Ring. She left the small isle with great purpose in her strides.

Pollen from Dreaming Glory, the eye-socket of a windroc and the wraps of an ethereal caster was crafted into a windchime. It was blessed by elemental spirits of Air and became Orvisha's first totem and a tool that would allow the pilgrims to interact with the Winds with greater effect.

The pilgrims and draenei sought to free elementals of Wind and approached the Murkblood tribe at Sunspring Post. Their persistent presence near the krokul sparked animosity, a bloody battle ensued. Many lives were ended by the hand of the pilgrims and shamans, one of them was a murkblood corruptor.

It was decided that the pilgrims and shamans would strengthen Fire. They traveled to tainted orcish ruins in Nagrand and sought to purge them to allow new life to inhabit the area. A shrine of skulls and cursed heads of ogres was burnt. A fel-fire that served as a prison for a wrathguard was extinguished and the demon called "Bane of Gronn" was banished.

Seer Uyendu leads a few pilgrims towards the edge of Nagrand where new ground has formed. Out from the strange, charged clay rises an elemental of both bedrock alien to Outland and arcane energies. Only with the aid of the young mage Miya were they able to end the strange elemental and send the entire shelf of alien earth floating off into the Twisting Nether.

The Fury of Fire had spoken up to one of the shamans and revealed the name of an opposing elemental. Together, the pilgrims and shamans called upon a revenant called Gun'ghash'nosh and made a deal with the fiery being. It would strike an accord of temporary peace with Inceratus, would the orcs in the party share the words and ways of the freeing flames. For now the balance seems almost perfect.

Elemental Balance
  • Water, Air, Earth, Fire

Example - Seer Uyendu wishes to strengthen Fire, the element of destruction and renewal from the ashes, an element of extreme but brief passion. He chooses an orcish ring once used for gladiatorial combat, something the greenskins became wildly passionate about after the coming of the Legion and celebrates the destruction of one combatant and the brief moment when the crowd saw the winner as stronger than before for surviving. The krokul torches the worm-eaten wooden rubble and lets it burn to the ground but saves a well, to allow a new settlement to grow around the only remnant of the gladiatorial ring.

TAKE NOTE OF THIS.

THIS IS IMPORTANT.

Basically, throughout every event, you're free to do whatever you want to serve the bond of strengthening or weakening an elemental force until all are in harmony. There's t too much of one thing and not enough of another, and how much you choose to weaken or strengthen, to hurt or heal, will be up to you. There is no right or wrong, here. Just actions with consequences.
Your stories will always remain...
