You are a cruel, cruel man.

It will also soon come into the information that its founding shadow priest was discovered in captivity.

Does that mean we'll have to double back and conduct rescues and revenges when we're trying to be cool and patriotic and fight the southerners? We're trying to be cool and patriotic over here, Stranger! We're trying to fight the southerners!

You forgot the part where he meddled with the demented ghosts of his ancestors, cuckolded his fiancée and embarrassed him in front of all his friends.

Actually, let's all forget that part and everything that came with it.

Problem solved: the southerners will be responsible for the capture.

Now we can be cool, patriotic, and vengeful at the same time!

EVERYTHING A FORSAKEN SHOULD BE.

Hi.

I killed someone you know, didn't I?

Not that I remember!...well, unless you mean Aroes.

Does he count?

... I killed Aroes too. >.>

Everyone kills Aroes. That's not even an accomplishment.

Mercy's sixteen months pregnant, what do you think?

. . . She's kind of in that limbo where I'm contemplating her complete cessation of existence. Will discuss. o7

That you did. I'm surprised you're not the head of the GM team or something by now, what with the lot of them willingly ready to jump to your tasks on your command. ;)

Honestly, the company of adolescents incarcerated for drugs, incest, violence, theft, parenthood, drugs, disrespect, and dropping or failing out of school was not without its... lessons in patience. I was never seriously intentionally permanently injured. I made some friends to last a lifetime. I learned how to make meth. It was a blast.

I mean, I would never have learned to appreciate cheap buffet food as the comparative nectar of the gods my first day out of bars.

How else could I have enjoyed the melancholic pleasure of longing for the love of my life for months on end, or the educational experience of fretting needlessly over what might be left to rot and neglect in my absence?

(I will not deny that there were unsarcastically constructive and even necessary details to my detention, I'm just not about to admit them.)

....

This post was written in my earliest hours of reinstated citizenship, by grace of my mother's phone, and is being posted from my newly purchased own as I settle into a lovely, late supper of corned beef hash, crowned with a squeeze of fresh orange and gently poached... eggs. .. This tangent is entirely relevant and necessary.

...

I'll finish my unprepared tangle with Windows 8 sometime tomorrow, digitize my seven journals' worth of unsent letters from there, and ponder the mysteries of my meal in the meanwhile.

(And I find it fiendishly funny that I was wrong on both counts: clemencycame not one, not three, but two months after I peeked my head out the door.)
