Personality: Zh'kruabhal is fairly silent and stoic, though facial expression is a foreign concept to its people. It can command with a glare of its vestigial eyes. It is devout to its Old God masters and its people, though would not mind sacrificing one of its own to further the Old Gods' glory. It's sure a fellow Faceless One wouldn't mind.
The people of Azeroth are skittering insects, one and all. Those of the Twilights Hammer are more useful ones, and not to be stepped on.
The draenei are a passing interest because they too have tentacles and are millenia old.
History: Zh'kruabhal was brought into existance—it's hard to say if a creature like it is ever born—in the depths below Azjol'nerub. For the centuries and millenia after it's waking it served the Old Gods in their eternal war—eternal until the Titans came and put a temporary halt on their glory. Once the Elemental Lords were shut away in their realms, and the Old Gods sealed in their Titanic prisons and depths, Zh'kruabhal tended to matters only its kind are aware of.
Azjol Nerub grew above it and its kind. They hardly paid it any heed, save when a Nerubian dug too far. Further time passed in the dark, Zh'kruabhal carrying out its masters' whispers, the passing of an undead knight and his Nerbuian ally barely a blip on its senses. There was also something about a tiny war that exterminated the spiderlings before that. There was some unrest when that dark knight claimed a throne, and eventually war raged in the cold north. Zh'kruabhal and its kind slithered out of their holes under Azjol Nerub in those years after the empire's fall to the Scourge, making their way to all corners of Azeroth to serve their masters. So did Zh'kruabhal, fighting where he may, paying little heed to Azeroth's conflicts between the Alliance and Horde.
Then after more years the world broke, and the Old Gods' glory was brought anew to the world. Zh'kruabhal was sent to various locations to wage war and aid the tiny servants known as the Twilight's Hammer. The Hour of Twilight was at hand and Zh'kruabhal would see it through.
