Prestige Classes
#1
Some of the Prestige Classes present in Lore. Post here if you wish info posted on a specific class not listed here.

Archmage of the Kirin Tor:
The mages' order of the Kirin Tor has waned since it was nearly destroyed in battle against Arthas and Kel'Thuzad. Yet some of the archmages survived, scarred and worn for their efforts to stop the march of evil and the destruction of the Violet Citadel. Those few who lived swore an oath of vengeance.

Requirements: No restrictions

Assassin:
Even more skilled in the art of death, assassins are those few who have gone on to perfect the arts of murder to an incredibly fine degree. So deadly are the cold-hearted killers that they are beyond the ideas of allegiance and devotion to anything more than the next challenging kill.

Requirements: Evil, Independent Faction.

Beastmaster:
The beastmaster is a wilderness warrior who has developed an uncanny rapport with animals. Though truly fearsome in battle, the beastmaster can be quite gentle when dealing with creatures of the wild. A beastmaster typically travels with one or more animal companions who show incredible loyalty to their humanoid friend. Though a beastmaster prefers to spend time in the wild with his animal companions, he is not averse to venturing into civilized lands when the need arises. As long as animals may be found where he travels, the beastmaster will feel at home.

Requirements: Horde or Night Elf

Berserker:
Rage rests within the heart of the orc and troll races, like some barely contained beast ready to tear its way out. For many, this rage allows them to face even the most dangerous of foes and survive. Their innate ability to hold on to this energy and ride it through the waves of battle has made the Horde a feared and respected force. Yet some orcs and trolls descend even deeper in this rage, harnessing it as often as they can, fighting on without care for themselves and showing no mercy to those in their paths. These are the berserkers.

Requirements: Orc or Troll, Non-Lawful, Horde

Duelist:
A puissant skill with a weapon, a keen intellect and a wicked wit all comprise the essentials of the duelist. Rare among the Horde, but often encountered swaggering along the promenades of human and goblin coastal cities, the duelist is a skilled sword fighter capable of amazing feats in battle. Relying on an almost supernatural skill with her weapons, the duelist is a welcome asset to any group.

Requirements: No Restrictions.

Elven Ranger:
The elven ranger is an elite wilderness warrior whose skills are unique to the elven race. These skills are rooted in ancient tradition, from even before the time of Queen Azshara, and survive in the cultures of both the high elves and the night elves. Among modern high elves, the elven ranger is known as just that, but among the night elves the elven rangers are called by their ancient title: sentinels. The elven rangers of both races are elite archers and wilderness skirmishers capable of running through rugged terrain to make impossible shots that appear fluid and natural.

Requirements: High Elf or Night Elf, Alliance.

Fel-Sworn:
The servants of the Burning Legion are a myriad of darkly motivated men and women, servants of some demonic will. Most of those who have become slaves to the Burning Legion have done so by following mystical paths that are not only perilous for one's body, but also for one's soul. Fel-Sworns are those who have begun to transform due to their exposure to the energies of the Burning Legion. Their bodies have warped and twisted to take on a new shape as their souls become more and more evil. While they might start out resembling normal members of their race, their demonic features develop until they are terrifying beings, half humanoid and half demon.

Requirements: No Restrictions (Evil, probably)

Gladiator:
(Blademaster for the Horde) A gladiator has devoted himself to the mastery of close combat. This single-minded devotion to weaponry and fighting styles makes him a feared enemy to those who cross him and a valued ally to those who manage to befriend him. Though gladiators practice with as many weapons as possible, each chooses a single weapon and strives to master it until it becomes an extension of his being and allows him to cut a bloody swath through his foes. Among the Horde, gladiators are known as [Blademasters].

Requirements: No Restrictions

Infiltrator:
Infiltrators are a select group tasked with protecting the Alliance, whether from the attacks of the Horde or by those who would attempt to shatter it from within by manipulating internal rivalries. The infiltrator is a manipulator, a charmer and a spy who wears her weapons hidden beneath fine clothing as she dives into the dark waters of politics, diplomacy and intrigue.

Requirements: Alliance.

Mounted Warrior:
Mounted warriors are formidable melee combatants on their own, yet they are only half complete. When they climb atop beasts and ride them onto the battlefield, mounted warriors become truly fearsome foes, mount and rider working together in deadly concert. Among humans and high elves, mounted warriors are known as [Knights], while for the night elves a mounted warrior is called a [Huntress]. Among orcs, a mounted warrior is known as a [Raider].

Deadshot:
The dead shot is the hidden warrior, one part patience and three parts skill. She is the one who serves as a line of defense, a patient assassin, or a failsafe in case a tense diplomatic meeting goes poorly. She is a specialized assassin, able to slay with one painstaking shot from a rifle or crossbow. Although many associate the dead shot with the gun, many dead shots, notably night elves, are skilled with the bow or crossbow. They all share the qualities of a sharp eye and almost unnatural patience.

Requirements: No Restrictions.

Demon Hunter:
Demon hunters are dark and shadowy warriors. Illidan Stormrage is the most infamous demon hunter, and was the first of their kind. Even Illidan's own brother did not appreciate his sacrifice, and locked him below ground for thousands of years for trafficking with dark powers. Illidan's case was unique. Sargeras, lord of the Burning Legion, burned away Illidan's eyes with magic fire until only scorched sockets remained. Illidan's resulting sight was a maddening display of violent colors. His altered vision allowed him to easily recognize both demons and mortals with magic powers. In addition, Sargeras covered Illidan's body with black tattoos that increased his arcane power. Later, a group of night elves, inspired by Illidan's example, made a pact to turn the Burning Legion's powers against it, fighting destruction with destruction.

Requirements: Chaotic, (Most Demon Hunters are Night Elves Blood Elves and Humans. They do not have to be blind, and can get their powers through other means.)

Mountain King:
The most respected and revered of the Ironforge dwarves' warriors, mountain kings represent mighty champions of their race. While some Ironforge dwarves are enamored of the new firearms, and others unlock the secrets of their titan heritage, mountain kings continue a legacy that has existed for millennia. This is a legacy of beer, blood, booze and thunder, of red-glinting axes and crushing hammers. It is a legacy continued by some of Ironforge's most renowned heroes, including Muradin Bronzebeard, deceased brother of King Magni of Ironforge.

Requirements: Ironforge Dwarf, Alliance (There are traitors, however.)

Bone Crusher:
This roaring giant wades through his enemies, his foes unable to stop him. He does not even need weapons; his fists are enough. Arrows and blades bounce off his impervious hide, as he simply ignores any attack aimed at him. Each blow sends his opponents flying into the air. He is a bone crusher. Bone crushers are mostly orcs and dwarves who thrive on pain (their own and others) and focus on the purity of combat. Already confident in just how powerful they are, a bone crusher trains to become a living, unstoppable force. Bone crushers use their heads in combat, literally. No brains needed here. Indeed, some bone crushers claim that they enter an almost meditative state in combat, focused on the smooth motion of their muscles, the speed of their reflexes, noting (occasionally) the blades that bite their flesh, but feeling nothing from them.

Requirements: Any Non-Lawful

Lightslayer:
A shadow in the night, the lightslayer moves with the sound of a whisper to extinguish light wherever she finds it — specifically, she extinguishes the followers of the Holy Light. The lightslayer embraces the teachings of the Forgotten Shadow and develops her personal power by slaying enemies who stand in the light. Some consider lightslayers the dark mirror of the Scarlet Crusade, but in truth the two organizations have little in common. The Scarlet Crusade possesses a firm hierarchy; their fanaticism is orderly and focused. Lightslayers, on the other hand, usually work alone. They make use of stealth, hit-and-run tactics, and the element of surprise. The only strong similarity between the two groups is the dedicated zeal with which both orders pursue their goals.

Requirements: Forsaken, Non-Good.

Shadow Hunter:
Like other practitioners of voodoo, shadow hunters deal with the darker aspects of the spirit world. Unlike witch doctors and members of other professions associated with this ancient faith, shadow hunters claim to develop a special bond with voodoo spirits called the Loa. Able to channel the essence of some of these extremely potent beings — and often acting with their blessings —shadow hunters gain special abilities only the Loa can grant. As they grow in experience, the shadow hunters' bond with the Loa strengthens and their connection to these powerful voodoo spirits eventually gives them the ability to curse and heal at a whim.

Requirements: No Restrictions (Most are Horde or Independent, though)

Do you have any information on holy or Paladin classes?

I have, but Paladins are not Prestige Classes though. I might post some specialized ones later on, such as the Argent Dawn Templar or Scarlet Inquisitor.

This guide is good, but I'm going to re-establish something in here.

Prestige Classes are -only- open to heros. Not only that, but the hero's also have to submit a special profile that's pre-approved by a GM as well.

AGAIN, Prestige Classes are -only- open to heros.

Uhh...thats the reason why I posted it in the Lore section? Take note of the introduction. 'The Prestige Class present in Lore.'

Besides, who cares about playing Prestige Classes. It limits character traits even further

Chill out. That wasn't directed at you, but rather at others that may read this thread and may not bother to read or understand the introduction. We'd rather nip it in the bud here than have to explain it to someone who has already submitted a character profile and has their heart set on playing the character.

Actually they're even more allowed than before - Grunts only, though.

It also takes a lot of effort and determination to get one even when it's allowed.

Move him into the sun—
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields half-sown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morning and this snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.

Think how it wakes the seeds,—
Woke, once, the clays of a cold star.
Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides,
Full-nerved—still warm—too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth’s sleep at all?
