Patience is the key, the waiting time is 1 second to 12 months.

Neither of those have happened, I think. Tess, be patient. Even better, go over your intro and make sure those 48 hours of your life isn't wasted away. It's got to be heartbreaking to have done all that, and then not get in, you know?

Going on 24 here, I'm at 19 hours right now. We'll get reviewed, eventually.

Don't worry about it, it takes time :) The GMs have a lot to do, trust me (Plus, asking and begging and basicaly not being patient loses you points! The more patient, the more impressed they are!)

I suggest you concider who your first character will be, then check out character profiles here and on the wiki for examples! Lots of fun and it saves/wastes time.

Good luck and I for one hope you are accepted.

Please -stop- posting new topics regarding the wait time for introductions. It doesn't help speed up the process and is extremely repetitive. From what I have heard GMs do factor patience into the equation, so it is best to simply wait it out.

To anyone who is currently not approved: Go back, review your introduction and spellcheck it as well. This is your "entry-card" to the server, a bit like a job application that gives someone an insight into what kind of person you are. You are asking the GM's to put their trust in you, so the least you can do for them is to make sure you've triple-checked your application.

Making threads asking for approval isn't the best way to go about it. Think about it this way: The GM's do not want to come off as jerks, so if they find anything dubious or otherwise "off" about your introduction/character profile, they might ignore it until change is made. As a subtle hint that it might need a bit of work. Those who then make threads asking why their introduction wasn't approved shouldn't expect much expediency either, since that just confirms the GM's suspicion that the person might not be willing to (or able to) display proper self-moderation.

You are applying to a project which is very dear to the people who make the server, this place is the brainchild of the admins and GM's who all work hand in hand to make it happen, and none of us are paying a single cent to partake. But we do have to make sure that what we bring to the server is the best we can possibly dish out.

So if you are flapping about like a baby bird in the dark mists of uncertainty, just go back and see if there's anything you can do to speed along the process. There's no shame in admitting that some things could use extra work, even the things you are proud of or consider finished. We all improve through critique and trial-and-error. Even Mozart made mistakes while learning. I still make lots of mistakes, but to go back and correct them without getting angry at the people who point it out, that takes guts. And trust me, in the end you'll be better off for it.

Read around, look up the rules, etc. There is no set time for waiting, it'll happen when it happens, and the GMs take a look periodically.
