Your Character in Cataclysm.

So...if ever we decide to implement Cataclysm (or at least part if it) into the server lore, here's a thread to post where your characters would be and what would they be doing during the Cataclysm. Will they still be the same soldier as before, only older? Will they actually be successful and create their own groups or guilds using their accumulated resources? This is of course, mere speculation and the GMs of our server are still the head chiefs when it comes to our lore.

Let me start.

Merchant Turec Carstanz: Becoming a successful merchant and using his political ties to Stromgarde, he has managed to create his own trading company with both legitimate and illegitimate practices. Shooting for the stars, hopefully he would have captured Durnholde or some other Internment Camp for himself, raising Horde slaves and dealing with the Cartels. His pack ram would still be alongside him most of the time, but now he has lots of these, including mules and horses for which to put his merchandise in and bring along with him. (Human piloting a pack kodo is too absurd)

Commodore Agares Lius: If not dead, he would still be haunting the Northrend shores, raiding enemy lines. Hearing of disaster in the homeland, he goes to Gilneas and helps the Worgen there in the name of Kul Tiras. Shooting for the stars, he would be promoted and given the prestige title of Admiral.

Regarosh "Riggs" Blackhide: Still a rogue Death Knight, being one of the DKs who are still not captured up to this (Cataclysm's) time. Would probably have joined one of the small clans that spring up in the future, laying low.

Caliath Dragonheart: Still no good story to base him by even during this time period. I need to build up on his personality and exploits. Anyone willing to take on a BElf Paladin under his/her wing?

Considering this is Cataclysm, I would even say maybe a decade could go by.

Anyway.

Jelme: Dead. No doubt. The little ball of sunshine hasn't really got a chance. If the crazy crap he does doesn't kill him, Catacysm will.
Lorailis: Dead, also. He's the kind of soldier who will keep on planning, keep on fighting, until he's dead. Again. Regardless of circumstances.
Maulbane: Still kicking, probably even more badass than before. Maybe even a Beastmaster. Whatever the rank/title, Goretusk might be dead, which would be a very sad state of affairs. But Goretusk could always impregnate some lucky lady-pig... . Piggy aside, Maulbane would return to Thunder Bluff to pledge his skills to Cairne, to keep the Tauren above water (Hurp, reference to my storyline)
Yverian: Still as calm as before, possibly second in command of an even larger Hand than before.

We -don't- have a clue what is going to happen yet, and it's coming out in a year. Quit worrying about it!

Isn't it rumoured that Cairne is killed by Garrosh for supposed "Treason"?

Without Thrall to keep Garrosh in check, he declares open war on the Alliance. In the political upheaval Cairne Bloodhoof is implicated as a traitor to the Horde and murdered by Garrosh. Cairne's son Baine takes over as the new Tauren chieftan. This could explain why Baine was removed from the game in Patch 3.2.2

We're not necessarily worrying. We're just plotting. It's fun!

EDIT: Here's what'd happen to my characters:

Lou: Still dead. Nothing new, folks.
Dol: Probably caught up in the event, being trampled horribly.
Avelyn: This b***h'll survive anything.. :S
Jezk: He'll just stick with the Honourgarde and hope for the best.
Cutathr: He won't leave his Kodo behind.. So he'll probably end up dying alongside it.
Malth: He'll do anything to survive, and most probably will.
Brawm: He'll probably try and organise an alliance between some people from the different factions. Except Undead. He hates Undead.

Its been confirmed, actually. Garrosh will be killing Cairne.

Of course you are, just don't become dead set on any general direction, if you want to talk about it, do so, if you wanna ponder what your character would be doing after the events in the expansions; do so. What we don't want is someone making specific plans and such for their character/guild/what have you, I'm sure we all understand that people are excited about it. Anyone who doesn't want to hear of Cataclysm can just avoid reading topics that discuss it, it's not like we have any rule saying you have to read every forum post made, right? ...At least not yet.

Haha, thank you for the clarification Nostra. I was assuming this was the view of the GM staff, however clarification is always nice for everyone wishing to participate.

This thread is merely hypothetical.

To get it back on topic, I will list mine, albeit I am mainly playing one.

Zason - Still around, maybe not in the spotlight, limelight or The Light. /wink
Zeal - Still blind, her role depends on the destiny of Strom
Delvin - Likely blown to bits by the Cataclysm if not by some goblin bombs gone wrong.
Zefirosu - Depends on the destiny of the Sin'dorei... he is not impressed with them - maybe dead
Ahab - Crazy as a boot and likely dead or sweeping up lava and ash... yeah so then soon dead
Hank - Likely dead in the War with Sin'sholai
Zadok and Karin - Story characters, depends
