Welcome! |
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

I imagine something obscure is causing other server crashes. Considering it had been up since yesterday and is suddenly crashing three times in succession, it's probably something that someone keeps trying to do and isn't realizing they're causing the crash.
Therefore, if it crashes again, I'll be compiling the code in Debug mode so I can hopefully track it. We shall see!

In order to keep the guild subforums tidy, I will be archiving any subforums that have not been used in a month, and will continue to do so into the future without further warning.
You have until the beginning of next week to put guild subforums to use if you haven't so far.

So one day Kret walks up and says,
"We need new candidates,"
And made some thread for us to use,
For back and forth debate.
And then our Admins, old and wise,
Gave thought to what we said,
Then told us of their intentions,
In that old debate thread.
So then this morning, come to find,
The choices had been made,
And two GMs had been sent out,
To ask if they would aid.
Now who're these nubs I'm speaking of?
Who's added to the flock?
With lots of pride I'll tell you now,
It's Rosencrat and Knock!

As most folks know, it is rather difficult to get a character bump to 50 due to timing issues. Therefore, I am letting everyone know of some changes to the procedure...
For Bronze Tokens, you can still submit a ticket letting us know you have one and you'd like a bump to 50. However, you are also eligible to request that any GM online to attend to it (in a polite manner). This is because I am authorizing any Bronze Token leveling tickets to get deleted after three days of not seeing the character online. The ticket list was an absolute mess, which was causing many GMs to only check tickets of online characters. This was, in turn, causing normal leveling tickets (of approved characters) to take longer than normal. (Among other things)
GMs, if necessary, use a second account to attend to bronze token hand-ins. I will not expect all RP to immediately halt every time a player mentions their ticket in Chat, but I do hope for some communication to happen (on both/either side) so they know when you will be available.
