Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

Okay, these are less new, than they are actually written out for people now. We've been discussing this for a while, and decided that if we actually have a set of policies for character creation, that it'd be a little easier for us on profiles. That way, people can see what we expect, and also see that we've had the rules established for them for a while.
We've got 'em on the wiki, and in the forums.
Wiki.
Forums.
Eventually, this will be prettied up, and stickied, and so on.
OH, and for anyone that thinks that you are the sole reason we've posted this up, you are -not-. We've been using this format for a while, and have been talking about putting these policies in effect for over a month.

I've used up my wit for the day, so I'll just say that we got four Content GM promotions to celebrate! Tales23, Hawk, Anski, and Piken have all gained their shiny new rank! It's like a value pack!
Oh yeah, and that n00b GM is now a n00b Enforcer. Do as she says. Everyone congratulate Cressy!

CotH, I don't think we're in Azeroth anymore.
So we've finally recovered from all these past disasters. Franken-Anski has been brought to justice by Hawk-man, and Cressy and Piken have fought an epic duel that resulted in the neutralization of both. So now, it is time for random silliness!
After dropping a bridge on Illidan, we ran down the Golden Road in the Barrens to magical city of gnomes. Ignore the man behind the curtain, that's just Duskwolf mucking about with new commands. We just gave Moose some ruby slippers, so expect her to click them three times chanting "There's no place like Dalaran!" and appearing there spontaneously. This is normal.
Watch for random tornadoes, by the way.

As a reminder to the folks who missed the events yesterday, the battle for Lake Wintergrasp has officially begun! The area is now open to RPers and anyone who wishes to come in and take part can do so through the Wintergrasp portals in Warsong Gulch.
Also, we have a new subforum for Wintergrasp, over in the Storylines board. It's still under construction, but feel free to take a look.
I'm personally hoping we can get some folks over here to get regular RP here, but we'll see how it goes.
