Disclaimer: This should go into the Lore Section. I know. I know. I know I know I know. I know it all too well and it's eating me that I can't do it because I'm not a Grunt.

Some time ago, a friend of mine contacted me via AIM to tell me something... Stuff was of course uncensored in the original version. Names were changed, to "Bro" and "Dude" for my friend and I respectively as well as IMs. Who calls themself (Name)'s Friend on AIM? Actually, I did that for a while.

Caed's Friend: Dude, what the f***?
Caediath: Bro, I'm getting ready to play CoV. This had better be good.
Caed's Friend: Blizzard just s*** itself with Lore.
Caediath: What else is new?
Caed's Friend: Well, the Blood Elves can apparently use the Light now.
Caediath: Yeah, they sucked the energy out of the naaru. Whoop-de-f***ing-do.
Caed's Friend: Yeah, now they can do it without sucking up naaru.
Caed's Friend: ...That came out wrong.
Caediath: Nice.
Caediath: Now, what the hell happened?
Caed's Friend: I don't know. Some apology thing. They can become real pallies now.
Caediath: ...
Caed's Friend: No. Seriously. I have screenshots.
Caediath: Post or it didn't happen.

Caediath: ...Bulls***.
Caediath: BULL F***ING S***!
Caediath: You had me going for a moment, how long did it take you to make this one?
Caed's Friend: Look, the timestamp is consistent with when I sent it to you.
Caed's Friend: It even shows you logging in right now.
Caediath: BRB phone.

Another friend calls me soon after to tell me what my friend said and told me the same thing.

Now question, was that ever implimented here, or was it axed because the idea was ridiculous?

Pretty sure this is true.

I seem to remember reading something here on the forum about the Blood Elves having some kind of teary moment, and they could all use the Light, so they no longer needed Fel or whatnot.

I'm not 100% on this, someone here on the forum can probably answer it better. But I'm pretty sure they will be using the Light.

Server lore made the failwell a little bit less fail; with the help of the Felbood Elves, the Sunwell restored the cepability to radiate arcane energy as well.

Sadly, yes, it was. But we have done some other things trying to make up for it, check out the "Sin'Sholai" storyline that has been going on for some time now.
