I (finally managed) remake my account, but I keep getting "disconnected from the server" every time I try to log in. What's up with that?

I've had the exact same issue with that. All you really need to do is clear your cache and relog. For help on clearing your cache, and keeping the custom item data saved, see
here.
If you experience further problems, reinstalling the game should work.

Double-check your realmlist and all that just to be sure. You don't want to reinstall everything just to realize you didn't need to.
Which is your current realmlist? And are you entirely sure you have your account activated on the new core?

Yeah, noticed it on the build numbers actually, on the main page. As I thought my realmlist was misspelled or something too.
