(This will be a three part story. All three parts will be posted here. I intended on writing it all, but I'm too excited to wait, plus I wrote it on the notepad of my phone, so here's part 1.)

This story is of two lovers joined by duty, bound by love, and tested by betrayal.

Chapter One: Joined by Duty

Telonia Flamestrider, and Koriel Sunbreaker met in the city of Shattrath. Telonia was a Peon of the Stormshade Clan, which was soon to depart for Nagrand from Shattrath, via the Aldor Tier of the city. As she made her final preparations for the possibly perilous journey, a man whom she had never seen before stepped into the inn of the Scryer's Tier, where the clan had been staying.

This man was mysterious to her, but she only gave him a simple glance, and went back to her preparations. Being a Huntress as she was, she picked up enough of his character in that single glance to know that he looked to be up to no good. He had long, black hair, and wore leather. He carried a sword on each hip. He looked to be a Rogue, but he had a different air about him than a simple rogue.
He began to speak to Kol, the leader of the clan.

Telonia couldn't help but listen in. Upon doing so, she learned that his name was Koriel Sunbreaker, and he was once a member of the Stormshade, but left for reasons only known to him. He asked to accompany the Stormshade to Nagrand, and Kol was reluctant to allow him to, but seeing as how he was once a Clansmen, Kol allowed him to follow. At first, Telonia was suspicious of this new Elf, but slowly became a bit more interested in him.

On the journey to Nagrand, the clan was attacked by an Earth Elemental, which trampled over Koriel and another Clansmen, and was aimed at getting at Yvakara (A Tauren Death Knight). Telonia fired a charged up Arcane Shot at the Elemental, blowing a decent chunk off of it. Wounded, and frankly pissed off, the Elemental turned its sights to Telonia. She was prepared to fire another shot at it, when Kol quickly grabbed her, and ran her to where the rest of the Clan was waiting. They kept moving, but were attacked by a small party of Lost Ones. They put up a valiant fight, and succeeded, vanquishing all but one, which had escaped. Once they had reached camp, Telonia went to work inspecting her clanmates. Being an expert field medic, she doctored up those who needed it.

The next day, upon waking, Telonia spotted Koriel sitting by the pond. She walked over, and introduced herself. "Telonia Del'Anore Flamestrider," she said in a rather flat tone.

"Koriel Sunbreaker," he replied. Telonia then sat down next to him, and began to talk to him. They had quickly become friends. After a bit of conversation, Koriel revealed that he is a thief. Telonia didn't care. It only heightened her interest in him.

A few days later, Telonia's birthday came around, and she snuck awayh from camp to go visit the Orphanage in Shattrath. When the Stormshade were staying in the city, Telonia frequently visited the Orphanage, and told them her stories of adventure, and even let them play with her friend Belore (A Black Tiger). She didn't stay long, this time. She left the orphanage after a few hours or so, and headed to the Tavern. She enjoyed a few drinks, and left to return to the camp. Upon arriving, she went about her business as usual (which, unsurprisingly includes getting into a fight with Anaiya), until Koriel showed up. Telonia, and Koriel had been talking and carrying on for a few days, and Telonia started feeling closer, and closer to him. In the midst of the conversation, Telonia explained to Koriel why she doesn't really care for her birthday. "As of today, it has been nine years that I've been alone. Today is the day that my family was destroyed before my eyes."

They decided to get away from the camp for a little bit, and went into Shattrath, and to the Tavern. The two sat for a moment, enjoying thier respective drinks, then Koriel finally broke the silence. "Happy Birthday, Telonia Del'Anore Flamestrider."

Telonia was half stunned, and half flattered. In the nine years that she had been alone, it was the first time she had heard those words.

After finishing thier drinks, they decided to leave. The two walked back to camp. When they reached the camp, Telonia looked into Koriel's eyes, and kissed him softly on the lips. "Thank you, Koriel."
