A Human Shaman

A human shaman is far-fetched in any case. Dwarven magi and shaman are in game but I don't think humans have ever practiced shamanism. Altough tey ight have in the ancient Arathi empire days.

Alright, I need a direct answer, and I have been thinking thoroughly about my question. I want the staff to answer this one in a sharp yes or no, and end this madness.
Demitrius is an ally of two rather spiritual Shamans who he follows in the path of faith.
He resents most Humans, and he has been on Draenor for twenty years, where he bonded with the wild after being forced to leave all hope of returning to civilization. He returned to Azeroth, and hated what he saw, so he left Stormwind Kingdom and left to Stranglethorn, living in the jungles, slowly learning the wild and respecting it, seeing he has abandoned everything else.
He never followed light, and he never favored Arcane.
Recently, he was getting very close to the path of Shamanism, to an extent that he considered travelling to Draenor and seek the spirits himself.
He practically hates his Humanity.
I am not asking for the ability to force the earth to quake. Since shamanism works on requests and debts paid back.
I want to know if it is possible of my Human to gradually gain access to requesting the assistance of the Spirits, in the means of simple prayer. And be answered by them from time to time.
Is -this- possible? Also, he would be restricted to one element, and to the simplest one to control, and even that he will do with trouble.

Well, it is very possible that IG progression occurred. I know Redis doesn't match his profile anymore, I need to update it sometime. :\

But yes, from what I seen in RP, Demi isn't like what his profile says. Tana got that experience. :3

Actually, it does not, seeing the history does not say he wasn't on Draenor during the second war, and it is only up to date from when it was written, which is -quite- long ago. And -alot- changed since then.

Human Shamans exist, There are plenty of them in the Twilight's Hammer. However that is the catch on that.

On regarding that, Orcs are still Shaman and they still practice mass deforestation in Ashenvale and other locations etc. Humans also have had Druids - look at Gilneas before you become a Worgen, they are called Witches of the Harvest or something like that IDK something silly as all can be - but the point is... Shamanism doesn't just extend to one race and not the other.

Hell if you want, you can go so far to just call yourself a Geomancer, no reason you can't do that. Humans are THE MOST versatile of races in World of Warcraft, they are by far the most individualistic of all races and more times than not, the individual human does not reflect their entire race. Humanity, is as it should be, the master race on Azeroth as they are the most populace etc. I highly doubt that the Spirits would never ever contact a human and make pacts with them... it just wouldn't make sense... especially since like... all of these values of Shamanism and inspiration comes from real life practices that HUMANS hold true etc.

EDIT: I don't really know if you should be allowed to play a Human Shaman yet, though, I mean hell, if you could I would be all over that... this is why I settle for my Wildhammer even if he isn't a Shaman, gotta love some Earth Mother and nature, right?

Sure, maybe some human shaman NPCs exist. There are also NPCs that are Tauren Rogues; The point though is that we won't allow by the server rules for someone to play a class/race combo that is not creatable by Blizzard. This will still hold true once Cata is put in- if Blizzard doesn't allow it, it is not getting through.

Unless that post was just to mention that they do exist, which it could have been. /shrug.
