Cataclysm: Do's and Don'ts

Hello friends, it is I! The one guy only 6 people know! And since I was bored and Cataclysm has gotten me into the RP Spirit again, I figured I would wright up a little Ditty pertaining to Cataclysm's new vamped world!

Let's get started!


Factions and Relations

Now as you all know, or may know by now, The Cataclysm has erupted with war along with unnatural disaster. The Horde and the Alliance have officially declared open war upon each other. Front lines exist on all battlegrounds upon all continents. Both factions have sprouted Towns and Fortresses in many regions. Some new, some are now permanent locations. A good example is the Zoram'gar Outpost has been refitted with black iron walls and gates, changing it from a small troll camp into a full-fledged Orcish Stronghold.


With all the land-masses being torn asunder, it's natural that the Horde and Alliance have constructed all forms of Hostile Military encampments to lay land claims everywhere.. Bad right? WRONG. Everyone's favorite Goblin Cartel has joined in on this trend! The Steamwhedle Cartel has opened up several new townships around the world! Fuselight (and it's port "Fuselight-By-The-Sea") in the Badlands and Bogpaddle in the Swamp of Sorrows are a good pair of new neutral Towns!

Relation's have also changed drastically. In Northrend the Horde and Alliance had a few skirmishes, sure, but they weren't really in a full blown war. This had individuals in both factions socializing without any -real- conflict in certain areas, but now with the Cataclysm that has changed. With the Horde encroaching big-time into Ancestral Night Elven lands, the Forsaken's invasion of Gilneas, and Stormwinds assault on the Barrens; I'd assume neither side has mushy feelings towards one another.


The Wilderness and Objects of Interest


The Cataclysm has made pretty much everywhere dangerous. Places once thought safe have either become extremely hazardous or simply disappeared. Entire towns have been destroyed like Auberdine or Steamwhedle Port. However such changes have brought riches about in great wealth. The discovery of ship graveyards in the Kelp'thar Forest and all over the sunken realm of Vash'ir.

Don't: Expect this server to have it any time soon. There aren't any other private servers with Cataclysm or 4.0 yet.

DO: Go out of Booty Bay and explore the brand new world around you.
DO: Take advantage of new or improved areas and try to use them in interesting roleplay.
DO: Remember there is a big gap in the time that has passed.
DON'T: Keep staying in Booty bay, or I swear I will try to convince Kretol to drown it all. :P

I actually plan on bringing back Vannas, but as a human hunter now, mainly because right now, ICly he has left all civilization and has return to his way of life before he left Swamp of Sorrows, a wild man!
