You see, not many people would avoid a fight where you outnumber someone, like 10 vs. 5, even if your character wouldn't join the fight. I believe that most people would make up a reason to join in, just because the hell of killing other characters can be quite amusing.

I wanted to prove people wrong about this yesterday, and after Coriv defeated Cervantes(just an example) in a fair 'n square duel, he had the chance to kill him. Coriv's an assassin, he enjoys killing(even though being Chaotic Good) but I chose not to, even though he had killed Keak he didn't want to kill him. I believe that this is actually one of the moments I did like Coriv would have, seeing as he -protects- innocents and doesn't like unneccesary bloodshed.

I just want to say that people should really consider if their character -would- execute the person that they fought, an extra burden of guilt to carry? Most people would avoid it.

Just my two cents.

I agree, loves. Indeed.

I used to believe that refusing a character warning (by walking away/trying to work around death in the situation) was rude and made a bad RPer. However, since I've been doing this (working around death that is) more RP has bred from such fights and things that occur. It's pretty great, I recommend it.

I have to admit, I burst out into a funky dance upon view of Cressy's knowledge of the funk.

Cressy Wrote:-Guild wars. Talk to other guilds OOCly about possibly starting up a squabble!

Darkrune Brigade and Shadowgrip Resistance'll start fighting once the two get enough active members.

We got some planned, we just need the people.

Now, this is written from my itouch, so my thoughts (and spelling) might be a bit more than just a little jumbled up, BUT...

I think there's a big difference between shadow vs. Light conflict RP, and simply person vs. Person conflict RP. The latter in my opinion tend to make for a much more unpredictable experience, which is open to more people as well. The only person I've ever really had an awesome time with in angled versus evil RP was Duraza... And even then, after four or so nonstop months of it, I got tired.

The thing is, there's never going to be an end to the good versus evil conflict; its happening now, and it'll be happening in a million years from now. However, inner conflict between social groups, factions, and even alignments, is usually a bit more out of the box in the way it's done. We've all seen the warlock hell bent on summoning a world destroying demon, but have you ever RP'd in a group of rebel Darkspear tired of how the horde is prohibiting them from their ancient rituals, and forcing them into a new way of life? That's just an example off the top of my head, but for anyone who plans on conflict RP... Please, can you mix it up just a little?
