Odd, I thought there were already some working, Cata servers. /shrug

Nope. None at all.

I bet anything it's a rebuild. Most of the places that work on servers, such as Arc-Emu, or Trinity have yet to actually crack Cata, so a lot of people have been taking the builds for the new areas and making hodge-podge rebuilds. However, it's like sticking a BlueRay disk into a DvD player and expecting it to work.

Anyways, I think we're getting off topic here.

Sorry about that, I just wanted to point that out since I've seen it a lot on the forums here. But back on topic... what's wrong with people having one OOC area? I mean, if you're just going to use it as a place to chat, wouldn't that serve the purpose? Basically, the way I see it, there isn't anything wrong with using WoW as a sort of "Instant Messenger", however, there's also the fact that this is a roleplay server and pretty much any area is seen as an IC zone. So really, having that place should be good enough... since you're not really playing the game at that moment anyways.

Edit: Also, isn't that the purpose of the chat channel, to be able to speak OOCly? I don't understand the need to have a bigger place to do nothing in, hehe.

Is it wrong that I'd personally like battlegrounds opened up so we could RP in them?

Not at all. It'd be freakin' awesome.

No, they wouldn't always see use, but some great war RP could be carried out there. It's all set up and ready to use, too.

I believe this has been stated multiple times.

We can't RP in instanced areas, because there's no way to really edit them. There's also a set limit on how many people can even be in them.

RPing in Warsong Gulch would be impossible. I think.

I dunno. I might be wrong there.

Gotta be wrong, it was the OOC area on the last core [which may in fact be the issue] so there won't be a limit to people who can be in there. Besides, we'd never meet 80 people being in there...right? No need to edit really, everything's there. Though I guess making mobs neutral wouldn't hurt.

Probably a new core thing.

It is indeed a new core thing.

One of the reasons GM island was made the OOC zone was indeed because instances can't be 'undone' in Trinity... at least from what I've seen. While I'm fairly certain this was stated, I can understand it would be forgotten.

That said, I did like WSG, but it was huge.
