Feedback for a new character!

I"ll do that :) It be a jungle troll who had been enslaved by pirates, as he became one when he earned his freedom. Now he wanders around cursed (forsaken), with his roots still in the voodoo.

Oh yes, and btw if your forsaken, troll regeneration won't regenerate anymore right? :)

WAIT.

STOP THE PRESSES

There are multiple things you need to consider.

Quote:Unfortunately for the hunting party, a powerful lich had deliberately cursed the beasts. Any living creature that consumed the animals' flesh would be converted into undeath. Afterwards, the lich was able to impose his will upon the undead trolls. Following the lich's commands, most of the undead trolls formed a base of operations in the southwest of the Eastern Plaguelands.

1) How would he have gotten food from the Eastern Plaguelands?

2) They say the Lich imposed his will. How would the Troll have broken from his will, if he was not weakened like the Lich King was when the Forsaken broke free?

1- Why would a Forest Troll even be on a ship? Sure, he could have been captured, but remember that humans have been at war with them for... A long-ass time. Why wouldn't they just kill him?

2- Not likely, in my opinion. Seeing as how, from the way you put it, he was under the control of a random Lich, even when the Lich King became weakened, that Lich likely wouldn't have been.

1) Because they needed a slave! And he becomes a pirate, after he became forsaken
2) Hmm, I see, well I have no answer to that. Guess this character is a no go ;)

Hey, it's a nice concept. I think you could get it through, if you tried. But I'd suggest sitting down and chilling with the idea. Research as much as you can about Forest Trolls, Forsaken and Liches. Think of every aspect of the idea that could be argued against, and find something to support it. Rework the idea some, if you have to. When you think you've got everything you can to support it, talk to a GM about it. See what they think, and where the character should go, be it Custom Models, or Special Profiles, depending upon whether or not they give their approval. I suggest sending the idea to either all the GMs, or get one to post it on the GM boards for discussion.

Okay, I will, thanks for the advice!

The most likely option would be a forest troll who stayed with the Horde after the second war, venturing on one of the Horde's bulky passenger ships. This would give him navigation and sea experience. Somehow infected, along with some crew members. Becomes Forsaken, along with allies from the ship, and starts a new crew of his own since he's taken a liking to the sea.

OR, he was a Skullsplitter slave to a goblin, who, during he second war deployed attacks in the northern lands. With the end of the second war, the goblin and his crew stay in Lordaeron because of minimal competition from other goblin merchants and mercenaries. The plague hits, and that's that.

Also, playing a Skullsplitter is possible, as I've personally RP'd with one. That, and my own troll pirate is from the Zandali tribe, and thus competent unaffiliated with the Darkspear.

true it's possible, but it's the thing, how he can break free from his liches? How can he become a forsaken that wanders free, this are the things I need solutions for. ^^

muhaha8 Wrote:Those aren't Darkspear, however. We're only allowed to play Darkspear, or any Troll who left their tribe, and joined the Darkspear.

We are allowed to play any jungle troll that left their original tribe. Doesn't need to be necessarily a Darkspear. Just needs to be neutral/allied with the Horde. I'd say it's nearly impossible to leave a tribe and be accepted in another one. Tribes are a very important thing in trolls' lives.

I was also told that they have to be able to fit in with Darkspear trolls appearance wise, which is why you can't play a forest or ice troll without a special profile. Gurubashi and other jungle trolls can fit in with the Horde.
