A time-worn sheet of paper

First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I started with Unreal 1 when I was 7... yeah, that marked my personality Crazy Just kidding, I'm fine. For years I only attended to shooter games, but I was ignorant back then. When I began to discover other genres, I found out that RP and strategy games are for me. Everything that is fantasy or historical.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I hail from Hungary consequently, Hungarian is my mother tongue.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I was given a copy of WoW in 2007 from one of my classmates. I immediately fell in love with it. I started on silly fun servers, but I kinda liked them. Quite soon I switched to blizzlike and I've played about six months on retail in the near past.

What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):
I was looking for some private RP server in Google. I was surprised that beyond this one there aren't any at all only that All GM server which just couldn't fulfill its role as an RP server.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I like freelance RP, I don't like prescribed stories nor any made up plot. I just like seizing the moment. I'm a real casual role player. Besides, I prefer town or inn RPs.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
As a race I would pick humans or undeads. They are so general and nearly good for everything that's why I like them. When it comes to classes, there are two types I prefer. First is a rogue. I, somehow always liked to be cunning and sly in RP games. The second is someone related to magic. Maybe a noble wizard or a hermit witch, so mages and warlocks are my two other favourites.

What are your expectations of this server?:
I hope the experience I get here will be something to remember.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Humility. I think nowadays people are just too proud. Not only in a game like this, but in real life also. It's important to learn humility even in a virtual world.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
The freezing mist balefully embraced the trees of Duskwood. Eddrick was heading towards Darkshire to rest there for a while and then continue his journey. His senses sharpened, every little noise he heard just made him shiver with cold. In his mind he wove terrible imaginations but he chased them away at once, after all, in a place like this one must remain utterly vigilant. He quickened his pace.
Finally, he reached the town and turned into the inn. As he entered the place, he felt his heart enlightened, despite he has seen friendlier taverns before. In fact, this was the gloomiest one he had ever been in. Eddrick paid the price for the room and immediately went upstairs. His tiredness overrode his hunger so he fell asleep in a moment. Time passed slowly, Eddrick seemed to have nightmares. The Moon crawled across the sky, the thick foliage of the woods let through only a few rays. All of sudden, Eddrick's room's windows' edges struck against the wall. He got up frightened and saw the windows were opened. He hurried there to close it. Eddrick grabbed the rustling curtains and tried to put it out of way. He was just about to close the casement but he felt an immensely strong push on his stomach. In the other minute, he was flying through the room and crushed against the wall. He nearly fainted but managed to look up.He beheld a shadowy wolf-like figure standing before the window. He's slowly risen from the floor and faced the beast.
- You'll regret disturbing a mage's dream, worgen!
And with this, bolts of flame engulfed Eddrick's right hand. He placed his left palm above the flames and formed a ball. The worgen growled and charged at Eddrick. The mage frowned and held out his right hand, casting the fireball in the direction of the beast. The twisting flames flew into the worgen's chest. The beast grunted and stopped for a minute. Eddrick hoped that it weakened him so he started to cast another spell. Bolts of fire were whirling around the mage while he was chanting something with his eyes closed, concentrating. He raised his arms high and opened his eyes. Tremendous fire was blazing in front of him in a circle where the worgen stood. His dark eyes reflected the cruel flames. The fire started to disappear and Eddrick expected to see the worgen's burnt body. The fire's gone, there was nothing but charred floor. Eddrick, worrying, started to search the room. He looked every corner and also checked the ceiling but there weren't any sign of the enemy. He ran to the window and looked out. Looking for movement he was gazing at the trees and bushes. Absolutely nothing. He wanted to turn back but then he heard a growl. It was coming from below, very close. Eddrick turned his head down slowly. Foul breath flooding from it's mouth as it looked up, the worgen's sharp teeth were about one metre away from Eddrick's head. With a swift move, the worgen jumped towards Eddrick. While in the air, the worgen, with its legs, tossed itself away from the wall. Landing on the grass then running into the forest. Someone was banging on the door:
- What the hell is going on in here? It's the Night Watch, open now!
No answer. The guard breached the door. As he entered, he saw a man leaning out the window, he hurried there:
- Sir, are you all r...? - The guard was startled by the fact that Eddrick's head was missing.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I hope you didn't regret reading this and it wasn't boring. Thanks for paying attention! Beer

Hello there eldy112, and welcome to CotH.

If you haven't done so yet, it's worth glancing over our Wiki to take a look at the rules, see our guidelines for making a character and perhaps even look over a few approved profiles while you're there. I waste far too much time reading as it is, and I still like to browse it every once in a while.

Thank you for the story, 'twas a good read!

I hope you enjoy your time here. Do feel free to PM me if you have any further queries. I'll try and answer to the best of my ability.
