Character Restart Thread

Some changes concerning my chars:

Neraali: Changing her to warrior class and changing her appearance. Changes in her story.

Beala: Unchanged, some slight history changes as well.

Kalyth: Unchanged, though she starts all over again.

Additionally: A lot of Chars remain deleted.

I'm not deleting my mains because well that messed up a lot of characters do to butterfly effect. Changes may be made because I like them.

Novalight storyline - It will remain the same, and continue as planned.

Zariel may be a little older, may push the chars a few years into future, or simply make them older. May not.

Ordonis Storyline - May change Raphael jr's class.

Quil is staying,

Yeveryn is staying,

Chione Is staying but I may return her to her former look. dark skin turquoise hair.

may change other chars not sure. Don't think any others matter.

Sanguis may get a class change too. Maybe back to his evil zealot pally form.

Maku may get a class change as well.

All I can think of, must be all that matters.

Aidan: Going to go in a different direction with this one. I may or may not remake a Death Knight so this is up in the air.

Alric: Not enough reason to keep him around. Headed for the dustbin.

Gorbak: My retail main, oh how I remember the days I played you. He may be making a return, and possibly reprising his retail role as the child of another well-known Orc of mine.

Vestus: Might be making a comeback. Check back for the one-time apprentice to Alistus and his zany antics.

Edit: Lol I forgot Daniel. He's a Necromancer so he's going too.

Primary Characters, those that I adore:

Aun'la: Staying as she is, unless the freeform prestige system lets me make her even more technomagical/runeboggling. She hasn't had enough time to live yet to acquire baggage.

Kaghuros: He's evolved so much over the history of CotH, and each time we begin again I make him a little different. This time I'm torn between two possible paths. I'll either return him to his roots and pursue a blademaster/samurai type of honorable Orc, or go the spiritualist route and make him a Shaman with ties to the Orcish ancestors and spirits of battle.

Malack - IC wipe of his school of magic, into Arcane. No more Necromancer boredom.

Well, time to do my own list of these. Rather than yap on about likely uneffected characters, I'll just say all that are being changed -

Avints - Bit of a long one for my oldest character...so from the top.

- Will never have trained in anyway as a exemplar, instead in his time when he went off to the plague-lands he'd of had some moral realisation and hence gone back to Stormwind soon after.
- Vincint the Rabbit may face a retcon, since well...with the complete and utter removal of any chance of his original origins occurring...Poor Rabbit indeed.
- May be retconning a certain relationship, since its pretty much been a ball and chain for the character, somewhat restricting him when I'd rather he be allowed to be his more...semi Lawful/Stupid attitude. Like Vincint, not set in stone.

Ventus - Like the character Xigo and his mate, it has been proposed that Vent's current relationship was also going on way before the events of Coth...This would mean Ventus would go under a -major- retcon, since the fact he was single meant he had all his adventures in Booty Bay/Ratchet when it had a arena and what not. Not set in stone mind.

Jastilus - Will likely say hello to a full retcon, alongside a relations with his son character Gyven. I'll just be keeping them seprate from now on entirely.

Gyven - See Jastilus.

Gavin - -May- be retconning him 'joining' the lost minded. Yet again, not set in stone.

Teldris is remade into being older.

Amethys is being deleted.

Bezington will be unchanged. And the derpcow Gramsha will still stay a derp.

I plan on giving my didn't-make-the-cut characters an apt and adequate send-off. With a date in mind, I can happily write up their endings and have those posted in the IC section for anyone it might affect.

90% of my character list is going in the bin, but that doesn't mean that my characters never were, nor that some of them don't continue to exist.

What was, is, and que sera sera, the only variables are my OOC involvement in it, and the decisions of those I played with.

Deleting everyone except for Draknir. Mokaku and Tzekel will be changed.

EDIT: Actually, no. Everyone is deleted, Draknir is going to be remade into a young Frostwolf.

Krilari - Mostly staying the same, might change the age so that his child is a playable character
Vicky - I hope to actually be able to use her full name in the restart!
Duron - Might change if we come to an agreement on the orcish timeline
Krona - Going to be retconed from a Runenovice to a Warrior
Andra - Making her 10,000 years old, isntead of 5,000
Gala - Might stay the same, might not.
Mathias - Will become a priest
Camillia - Staying the same for the most part
Taelos - Tauren!
Sareen - Staying the same.
Falanas - Staying the same.
Brucillia - Bruce.
Thaim - I MIGHT try to bring back <The Regiment>. Might.

Any of my other characters are probably going to be deleted and replaced with new concepts.

Ugh. I'm glad I didn't waste time with Avia's tinkering now. xD

Characters getting the axe: None.

Avia - might undo some of the tortures she has endured. Or not.

Well, here we go:

Kyrie. Delete. Due to no RP having, "bye bye"
Estrella. Delete. Let us just say she, and her boyfriend (my own char Aedan; I know) left for the wilds and built a small house.
Kayton. Hmm, I'll let him stay. Who knows, maybe pirateship will become popular in Cata at some time.
Claynt. Delete. Necromancers being gone, I was thinking of deleting him quite some time ago. Oh, well, let's say he was killed by one of his own 'associates'. Poor guy had mafia problems.
Darret. Not sure. I made this guy for dastmo's thieving guild. We shall see what he makes of his guild. Didn't RP with Darret even once, just sayin'.
Murin. I'm pretty fond on dwarves, so I'll keep him just for the lulz.
Orkhan. Despite not liking overused draenei, I -am- going to keep this one. Basically because I can't find any reason of deleting him without Rowgen deleting his draenei, Orkhan's sister.
Minus. Well that's up to Lendri.

Jozluz. Hehe. I still want to do that custom prestige, or whatever you may call it when and if the new one's going to be released. We shall see.
Shadoria. I like my night elven druid. 'nuff said. [-Might- delete her if I- no, nevermind]
Aedan. Delete. Went with, you guessed it, Estrella, to leave in peace in the wilds.
Assel. My first draenei, my char Orkhan's friend. Not really sure. Maybe he'll stay.
Goktar. Haven't really RP'd with him long. I think I'll let him live, the poor guy, basically because he's a warsong, and due to the Horde being what it is in Cataclysm, I might like what's happening. We shall see.

So 4/5/13. Delete/Unknown/Total.

Jozluz and Goktar will be just one after the restart, an orc death knight. Whatever they both did, it happened.
Assel was already renamed into Ophios. Either way, he will stay, nothing modified.
Shadoria stays, nothing modified.
Rafiku will also stay, and not be changed.
Alak stays, nothing changed.
Darret stays, nothing changed.
Murin stays, nothing changed.
Orkhan will most likely be deleted if Rowgen decides to delete Orkhan's sister.
Kayton, as stated before, will stay. Nothing changed.

Everyone else I stated before to be retconed, are already deleted.

Edit: Only two Hordies and two Alliance character are left on my accounts.

I might get Abby back, but with serious changes to her personality. Probably a bit older and her personality would probably be a lot calmer and pacifistic, but with a bit of anger problems, or it wouldn't be Abby.

Truux I might make older to make her daughter playable.


I'm not sure about my other characters. None of them are that important.

If at all possible, I'd like to manage to continue Juna's training as a farseer without attaining title, power or prestige. I'd rater not ditch the thread, meh.

Otherwise, most of my characters are just going to change according to how the game itself changes.

Well as for Zennshinagas I think I'll make him older to match with average Draenai age on server and set out more clearly rules and reasons of his behaviour, but don't worry he'll still stay rude outcast, I just want to make people see easier why ;]

Bragdana -- Changed back to Warrior, and retconned his history to uggest such (still part of the Hunt 'n' all). Also touching up his history in a few places to make it better fit lore.

Shivala/Salsh'alei -- Nothing, tentatively not bringing over.

All others -- Bai bai
