Character Restart Thread

I believe that I will only be bringing two characters back.

Archilia - Largely unchanged, will continue to be my main.

Dascki - Changed completely

My others will be scrapped.

Faelara - Mainly unchanged, just undead now

Aleia- Unchanged

Erynn - Same as Faelara

Antia: Will largely be the same. However, her backstory will be altered; she is was once an Auchenai Death Priest. This makes her transition to shadow magic make more sense, and might give reason to change her in a few ways I had been hoping to: Wrestling with a certain inner madness, a more faith-based approach to divine magic (both Light and Shadow) and just in general fits her character very well.

Love interests, generally, will be either retconned or move back in time to 'old flame' status; most of the involved players have left the server. Her old friendships, however, will be kept, and a new one or two might be 'patched in' come the restart.

Also, by Scout's request, Penumbra has been largely retconned. Antia will be starting a new guild of her own; I'll make a post later. It will have similar methods and practices, but a very different objective and far stricter standards for recruitment.

Aravali: Will be the same in every meaningful way. Still living with Melissa, as she was before.

Kelia: I'm not quite certain yet, but almost completely the same. I may tone down some of the angst and give her more drive, more overt savagery. Her struggle with the Endless Hunger will likely be brought closer to the surface, rather than brief episodes.

Vyerni: Still a brawler. I'll keep the magical tattoos to an extent if I may, and to whatever extent I can get away with, but I'm retconning her back to a Huntress, as she always was. Her personality will likely remain unchanged, as with most of her habits and eccentricities.

Desdea: Her personality and tactics will be given an overhaul. She will be altered severely, if I keep her; expect more zeal and wrath. Her apathy will likely be gone.

Everyone else: Gone, gone, gone. Some might come back, but they are nonexistent for now.

Pollie: Remain mostly the same, will be less paranoid and racist, since Argus Wake/Marianna is being retconned.

Rydanovich: His death is being retconned. Since, without Marianna, he'd still be alive. ...Indirectly, atleast.
Beware, Vyndus.

Granger/Durrak: Likely deleted. Durrak was mostly a sub' for events, at the time, and Granger just isn't a character I enjoyed playing, considering how much he picked fights.

Kevon: Likely stay.

Sathia Very little changes, depending on the Kelarria/retcon deal.

Wynand: Is being completely retconned, and remade into a new character. Though, I doubt anyone even remembers him, anyway.

Taan: Is staying, and will be profiled. All fear the Loincloth'goat.

Falaindre: Likely alter her personality a little.

Delargo: That's right! Mexo'din is being brought back! Since we're retconning the Marianna deal, he'd NOT have been killed at Bootybay. Or, hell, even BEEN there. So. He's back!

Vlademoore: Is staying dead. I hate warlocks, anyway.

Muragh: Staying.

Ginn: He's dead, end of story. So, stop bitchin' about him being gay.

Akzah: His death at the hands of Vorug, is still canon.

Ruridun: Unless Grak' retcons anything with Gunnar, Ruridun still went down swinging at him and the other guards. /flex

Mathium: Died squaring off against six Orcs, to ensure a pair of elderly women could escape.

You're right. I changed my mind.

After restart? Everyone I play is gone. I may change my mind again, most likely not. No more crazy midget elf [unless I find will to keep her around. Meh, we'll see how I feel when the restart rolls around].

Edit: Most of them are retconned, the others I'll make a thread for if I do anything with them besides that. Not like I played anyone but Reigen anyway.

Hmm, question. When people say "X character is gone" does that mean retconned? Or they "died" or "vanished" or whatever?

And so, the Kaldorei who had cheated death inside the a tavern in Azshara Crater cheated Death once more, and Stormwind's territories was forever changed.

When the Kaldorei first met that ferocious bear near her home, it was not a fair fight. The Kaldorei, both physically and emotionally scarred from the event, would continue to hold that event, and her reminders of it, in high regard, using them as a reason to herself to never let someone beat you.

With Malanore and both her parents dead, the Kaldorei's support base continually failed her, and consistently dwindled as the years ticked by. However, it was outside Shattrath, near a small pond, that her support base gained another member, and one of it's most influental.

The Heretic Circus was lost without their Ringmaster, and even though he was resurrected soon after, thing were not the same. Those who had retained their loyalty from the beginning were either hunted down and killed, had to take up new professions to keep well nourished, and well protected, or just disappeared.

Although being an Assassin paid well when the Kaldorei could find a job, she soon found that the market was too cluttered, and that few people respected the training that she had gone through as a child.

The Kaldorei, who had a strange motherly attraction towards those unable to defend, or even help, themselves, continued to protect those who she deemed need it. This went from either feeding her elderly neighbors, to taking in the children who were lost, and needed guidance of their own.

The Night Elf, who ultimately dwindled into near-nonexistance of those who she had once considered close, continued to be as neutral as she always was, having both her good days, and her bad days. Going true to her wishes, Azeroth continued to be enveloped by the flames of war. Because war... War never changes.

I needed some ideas on how/what to research Light with. And stuff.

Alysa = Renamed back to Alywien. Independent Chaotic Evil. Nothing is retconned, and all kills done in the name of the Argus Wake have been changed into Kills done in the name of Aly's Hunger.

Frederich = Dead. Will be recreated in the form of a brand new char bearing the same name. He died approx 3 hours before this thread, in a very dramatic and fun way. He is not removed from anyone's storyline unless they desire it.

Everyone else? DELETE THEM ALL!
