Alcaz RP Post Restart

Well my other ideas have not really been such a hit... as in no one wants to join, so i think that i may have a better idea this time, at least i hope so. So here it is, i would love feed back and even more to hear from people interested in joining.

The Setting: We are on Alcaz Island, the prison island. Within which there are two groups, the Guards, and the Prisoners. That means there are two goals in which you are to attempt to follow through with depending on which side you play.

Horde: If you are a Horde you will play the role of the Island Elite Guard. Your only goal is to keep the prisoners in check. You must watch over the prisoners and make sure they do not try anything that you or the warden would deem, unruly. Your job, as stated, is to rule over the islands prisoners with your club and the iron fist of the Warden. [/color]

Alliance: If you are Alliance, or even the rare Horde traitor in the bunch, then you will play the role of the prisoners. The goal of the prisoners is to both survive, and find a way off the island. All of the ships are locked down so you will have to improvise on a way to get away. The guards ever-watching eyes keep you rooted in place, it will take a great mind to lead them out of the shackles of the Horde, are you brave enough to stand up to them?

And also something I was just discussing with someone, is the reason this is in the Guilds forum and not the RP ideas is because I actually want this to turn into a guild that will later on do more things together. In other word I wish for it to become a larger RP hub for many people to join and be able to hopefully get together easier. Its something I hope we can all use to plan events together and such without having to use the forums. I mean we will but it will simplify it by allowing people to post their ideas in the guild to each other, and hopefully, we can all become good friends and get to know each other long term in the process.

Mayhap not a guild but a group of people that will RP with each other. While giving you the freedom to join what guilds you want, this will, at least I hope it will, become something used by many people to easily find RP. What I'm really looking for is people who are always willing to join RP, and to create a group together, with anyone welcome of course, that will create specific story lines together.

Hehe thank you Rowgen for the support. Although it has been brought to my attention that this whole idea being split up between Horde and Alliance makes a little less sense than it being Neutral. So rather than being split up like that, you will be able to mix and match. Alliance can be Guards as well, and Horde... you guessed it, can be the prisoners. That way this will be in no way involved with the warring factions and can be it's own separate Story line.

Idea!

Could be a sort of internment camp run by the Argent Dawn, rounding up various dangerous individuals like Warlocks and other forms of Fel casters, big-time criminals, rogue Death Knights, Legion supporters and serial killers. A Warcraft's answer to Guantanamo, if you get what I mean.

I like the idea, although i would like to keep it rooted with being just a random group of Guards. Maybe even Specialists sent in by both the Horde and Alliance to keep hold them there, because they refuse to just kill them.

Or that it's run by the Argent Dawn primarily, but with representatives and guards from both the Horde and the Alliance to ensure that the encampment is run unbiased.

Yeah that could work. Just after the restart i will have the set story i would like to follow. So I still need a large amount of ideas and criticism.

Similar perhaps, but still a new idea. Mayhap the idea has been brought up before and maybe even gone through with. But Through criticism and others ideas, i hope to create a new atmosphere for this story. I hope it will be something suspenseful that you will constantly be looking forward to what happens next. We will create a new story line, each individual having their own story. Each group that wishes to join in will have their own event to which they are transported to the island. Such as a segment of the story where if a group of say 5 people join we will gather some guards and they, with the warden, will go onto a ship and RP through the seas of transporting the new prisoners to the island.

Even if it has been done before, i still believe it would be a fun experience to do it again, regardless of how different my version turns out to be.

I remember Rosen was going to do something similar to this. Can't find the post, though. But it had guards 'n' all. Maybe she forgot about it.
