I just speeded up Disturbia by Rihanna by 27% on Audacity. Pretty funny...

And Rensin, nice job on those voices. ^^

I have discovered that, despite my status as a male, I may actually be able to do some of the voices for my female characters without recruiting someone else to do it. I have discovered that a program that I possess, called Garageband, has the capability to alter voice tracks so that males sound like females, or females like males, and et cetera. I tested it on some of the voices from Warcraft III (Kel'Thuzad makes a pretty good female voice, actually), with mixed results, but the general outcome was good. So I intend to test my own voice in Garageband at some point. More on this later...

Muwahahah. Kelly'Thuzad.

Ahem. At the risk of derailing the thread just a tad, did you find a way to get Garage Band on Windows, or are you using a Mac? I am in love with the program.

I have a mac. So this is not going to work with Windows, sorry, but anyone who wants to send me their voices to be male- or female-ified should feel free to do so.

And now I present Kelly'Thuzad. It's not quite perfect, but it's fairly close, and with the flexibility that people have with their own voices, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

The first experiment has been a success, and Therai now has a voice. In this clip, she comments on how remarkable it is that someone can accept what she is.

How can a humanoid possibly have a voice like that?

Unfortunately, the pitch change makes the whole thing a bit distorted. As for the way she talks... it's the way she talks. She has a slow, kind of fragmented way of speaking.

That was wonderfully creepy and awesome. A very interesting quote, too.
