Trying to install stuff to my gaming computer, but I do have an issue trying to patch WoW to 3.3.5a.
I moved the patch which goes from 3.x.x to 3.2 into the WoW Folder. When I patch the game, everything seems to be going fine. However, when I launch WoW manually without the launcher, it's complaining because it means there is "Missing or corrupted data - Failed to open archive ****\locale-****.MPQ".

It does actually say **** in the error messages.

The second issue is that when I launch the launcher, the patch appears to be v3.1.0.9767 and it doesn't even seem interested in patching to Cataclysm.

Edit: Changed the Data folder's "enUS" to "enGB" and it actually wants to run WoW, minus the part where it immediately crashes and leaves me with this. Error message spoilered.

I cannot help you specifically with this problem, but perhaps I can offer an alternative. Have you considered downloading the Complete WoW Stand-alone Folder? It's a full copy of the game already at 3.3.5a. Once this is downloaded (can't remember if it needs to be extracted as well), you can move the folder to wherever you desire and immediately start playing.

Edit: On other hand, I may have managed to do something wrong in the entire game folder somehow, by trying to patch an EU installation with US patches. Powering up the complete one for simplicity's sake. Goodbye, internets. Hope I see you soon.

Here you have the old patches. You download and install the US ones if your installation is US or the GB/EU ones if your installation is something else.

Seven hours left of the Torrent. I'll pause it and try to reinstall via the disk then the patches in the link you provided me. If I can't get it to work, I'll let the PC keep running tonight too.
Trying to use the WotLK disk instead of the old Vanilla disk this time.

Hm. Question: Do I have to download and install every single one of the incremental patches or am I good with only the complete patches?

Depends if the patch includes all the previous updates or not.

So you can install complete patches and then complement them with incremental patches if no other complete patches exist above.
