It's no surprise after my previous announcement, but I've decided to close out Argus Wake.
I will keep this mercifully brief, both for my sake and those who read this: While I can count some of my best role-playing experiences as coming from this guild and I've met some of my closest friends while serving as its leader, I will be closing it down. The character of Marianna is no longer the type of character that I feel comfortable playing and I dislike how the guild has influenced many of my decisions as a GM. Both were effecting my enjoyment of the server and people's perceptions of me.
That doesn't mean, however, that I will be leaving the members swinging in the wind! If you are interested in expanding one of your Argus Wake members but feel uncomfortable with the sudden dissolution of the guild, send me a PM or whisper in-game. I'll mock up a quick scene between your character and Marianna so that you are free to go off and keep role-playing.
A major thanks go out to Psycho and everyone else who took the time and energy to try and preserve the guild. That sort of kindness make me glad to call CotH my home.
Here's to nearly a year of constant activity and fun! Never let it be said that we didn't make evil look fun.
