Honestly, I think the blood elves have some of the best buildings out there and have shown to be the most advanced of the three when it comes to magic and building things with magic.

Night Elves are the best at preserving nature and building things with natures aid.

Trolls are the best at things involving muscles and build some pretty impressive empires from their own hands.

Each has a specialized area, each has buildings that are the best to the races ability to make. To find that they're descended from one another is pretty awesome really because it shows just how much of a cultural difference has developed from their time of separation, not just a physical one. I'm grateful blizzard gave them such a separation compared to most of the 'evolved' races they tend to do, aka, same model but a different color. Personally I hope they expand upon what exactly caused the change and hope they add in more runes that perhaps show the slow change from one building style to another. We can already see how Blood Elves take much inspiration from their Highborn ancestors with the curved buildings of white stone and a bit of the inspiration from the Night elf style to the Highborn style. I now want to see things that show the transition between Troll and Night elf.

It's really all a matter of personal preference and I do hope this tread doesn't dissolve into 'Hurrdurr no THIS race is better cuz pretty buildings!"

Besides, we can all agree that they all build better than the eyesores that Orcs put up, amirite? Towering spires of pointy metal? so last year.
