The Draenic Pilgrimage [ENDED]

So, first of all, front page updated (Currently).

Second, I got a proposition for everyone that takes or want to take part in the rest of the Draenic Pilgrimage. As I mentioned above, my time is as always somewhat limited and I have a hard time adapting to the US timezones. But I wanna do as much out of this as we possibly can. I have started discussing details of the co-joined celebration with my two partners in crime.

What I am suggesting is that we extend the Draenic Pilgrimage a few weeks into Cataclysm release BUT ON THE CONDITION THAT ALL PARTICIPANTS REMAIN IGNORANT OF THE SHATTERING MEANWHILE! Can you lot agree with this?

Why the condition you wonder? Well my reasoning is that with Cataclysm here everyone will want to explore and RP in the new and improved areas, I want to do that myself! But also because I don't see our helpful and good draenei keeping up a pilgrimage when the entire of Azeroth is in need of aid. I think that the news of the Shattering can instead be a good ending and transmission to Sha'kur RP.

Thanks everyone for attending and hope you enjoyed the second-to-last event of the Sixth storyline. Here a little taste of what you missed:

I would like what people would like to find as artifacts/souvenirs during these last weeks of the DP so I can bundle it into our RP.

I'm all good with the proposition about Cata, though I'll have to assume the 'phased' version of a character as both Lilli and Jurok will be very busy come Cataclysm.

I'd like to find something Sporeggarian. Maybe... I don't know, a spear? ;p

For Diwaata only. I have planned for Kapre to be directly affected by the Shattering, mostly due to TLE. Diwaata has had her own share of DP events, and she's returning to Shakur, I think. I wouldn't mind Kapre missing out.

I'm not saying that all characters in the DP must miss out on the actual Shattering, not at all. But what I'm saying is that the journey will be cut short as soon as someone ICly mentions "CATASTROPHE ON AZEROTH!!" and I ain't planning and making storylines for people to drop out before we are done.

(And the characters that can consider going on a journey to Draenor in the middle of the Shattering should not be part of the pilgrimage to start with...)

But I don't wanna make the choice either, if your character misses the biggest quake of the Shattering or if you simply timeskip from the end of DP, your own choices.

We have finally finished one storyline of the Draenic Pilgrimage, one that has been around since shortly after it all started almost three years ago. This time I am not gonna offer you some nice quotes from the event but instead I refer you to the Sixth, where those who attended will post their own In-Character-posts. I am extremely pleased with the event we had tonight, it turned out better than I had hoped for and the only things missing were Kapre and Nexariel.

Thank you all for coming and making this one of the best days on CotH for me since I enrolled more than three years ago.

I have just updated the "Where do roots go?"-link so others than me can look at it. That is the current active storyline of the Draenic Pilgrimage until I have had time to write another nice post.

I have created a thread for the upcoming storyline with a different approach that most other storylines, be sure to check "Broken world, broken elements"!

Slight update on the rules;

• The Shattering - Come Cataclysm no news of the Shattering will reach the Pilgrimage, for the purpose of not cancelling the storyline. Either timeskip when your characters is in Outland or have her/him miss out on the Shattering, your choice.

I've just updated current. We had the first proper event of 'Where do roots go?' since I started working actively on the Pilgrimage. It was a blast and I must admit that I am really in love with this particular storyline. Gonna post times for more events very soon!

Troovo tilts his head to look towards Lillisea in the distance, and his brows tense up when he notices the sludge from afar.

Another event of 'Where do roots go?' was just concluded with an interesting dilemma. Here's a taste of what transpired.

"Listen to me carefully bird because I will only say it once. What kind of dark magics are your people working and where?" asks Wolfgang. "Do not answer me this time and I shall be on my way, leaving you to the ogres."
One of the big ogre bruisers chuckles.

I just wanted to make a little heads up for the two coming events;
- Tomorrow will be more or less draenei only. If you ain't draenei, pass a whisper by me and we'll see what can be done.
- On friday the last part of 'Where do roots go?' takes place, be sure not to miss it!
