Plus the topic of "What can we do?" is super broad. The quickest thing you can draw from that question is "Can you take over towns?", with which the answer is no.

I think the issue is that Ormica would like to break this stagnation that the server has fallen into, and the only way to do that -really- would be some sort of customized lore for the server itself. Or Cata, but... even then.

As a completely off-topic notion; when Cata hits, I think it would be cool if we could have someone just do like 'nature' based events. Like, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc.

No, I'm asking about much smaller things :P That was only an example people I know our policies >.< Like our interactions with NPCs? Or nobles? Or like world wide posters something small I was looking for a limiting factor there, though could some one link me the IC money scale? Where it compares IC money to actual objects ex. House= 3 IC gold

Regarding the IC Currency, there's been a lot of posts about it. In addition to Krent's post, there are some guides here, here, and here. Some of these values and scales should be revisted because some of the prices are either too high or too low, but they're a very good start. I've suggested the use of IC Currency as a means to interesting character development and as you can see from Professionals Unite! there is no shortage of IC craft and tradespersons. What there is a lack of is motivation. What I've seen is that people are briefly interested when it's mentioned, lament that nothing's been done about it, but then they won't try to arrange something ICly for a service. (A house would be expensive, depending on the type and where it is.)

When it comes to world-wide posters, I don't know if you're meaning this kind of noticeboard. Though a lot of players choose to format it in a newspaper style, I'm certain posts in a poster style could be used.

I like the idea, Aphetoros, of nature-based events as a result of or as a preclude to Cataclysm. An intangible enemy bringing havoc and misery that can't be defeated? Yep, sounds like my kind of development.

Anyway, with the whole IC currency and other shtuff, if you really want to get it moving then just do it. Make some posts and get it out there. People seem to bring things up and request that others do something about it, whereas you can do all this yourself. If you want it to happen then make it happen, no one is stopping you and obviously no one will do it for you.
