Kidnapped: 5-Ever
The elemental is, for all intents and purposes, a side-quest. The group as a whole can outright fail with it, so to speak.

And the lute's not the only way to get to it. I was just offering as an example.

My point is there was no apparent way or even a HINT as to how to approach that damn thing. Even sidequests have breadcrumbs, hints, what have you. This isn't a PS1 JRPG, CotH has no strategy guide to figure stuff out.

I think the elemental has a great presence. I mean, the rest of us stood back and in awe of the lone mage questioning it. With success.

Until he insulted it. (And then I had to log when it was getting good)

My point is that the elemental is pretty consistent, and we should be able to pick up on that and learn how to approach it without angering it needlessly. But ICly all our characters are stressed out and just want to leave. Perhaps that elemental is just too complicated for our character's one-track minds.
The true test of his choice lies forward.

X was able to find out some things about it, namely about the grave and even a bit of history about the area they are in.

Another way to do things... is be part of the moment, it seems.

Thank you all for coming, guys! Despite all the flaws in this event, I hope you at least had a bit of fun!

Feel free to leave feedback in my feedback thread, so I can make the next one (or just next event in general) more enjoyable for everyone!

Kidnapped just ended! It was fantastic, Loxmardin. I really felt like this impacted my little Lendri in more ways than one. All the in-character development makes my eyes water because how wonderful it was. I'm going to miss the constant roleplay atmosphere that Kidnapped brought, being able to log in and always having someone to talk and emote with. But then again; There's always next year!

Thank you to all the GMs that DMed and helped make this event great. Many bear hugs to all of you! (Barry hugs.)

It was fun, I was glad to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in it, and everyone I had the opportunity to RP with.
