Events Calendar
#1
The Events calendar for the site can be accessed from the link in the top-right of the page, or directly here.

To add an event, click on the date and then "Post an Event". From there, choose a name for the event, click on the radio button next to "Ranged or recurring event", and then choose the start time and estimated end time. For the time zone, please either convert the start and end time from your local time to Pacific and leave the time zone as is, or check the box marked "Ignore time zone" - that should automatically show the appropriate time for other users, assuming they've set their forum time settings properly. (It's safer to just convert the times to Pacific)

If you're converting to Pacific Time, be sure to use the Time Zone Converter to get proper times before submitting the event! Convert your local time to US/Pacific.

Is it possible to add a preview option before submitting the event?

No, I'm afraid not. :( If you submit it incorrectly and need to make changes, you'll need to delete your post and resubmit.
