...But, wouldn't this be a complete counter to the night elves' adaptation to nature? Nature is, after all, a grand game of improvisation in order to survive. The sentinels fight with guerilla tactics. So well that Grom Hellscream states, when battling the sentinels for the first time:

"These women fight with unmatched savagery! I've never seen their equal. They are... perfect warriors."

Improvisation of nature, sure.

But before meeting the humans the first time, it's impossible for them to accurately predict the way a human fights. They'd have no real idea how to deal with them since even Nature was a constant with a predictable way of moving and interacting. They are powerful as warriors and have honed their skills in battle for a very, very long time.

That still doesn't mean they'd be on equal grounds with a foe they've never had to face on the battlefield before. Especially if you're old. Adaptability lessens as you grow older, after all.

This is just my opinion, mind. I may well be wrong, but that's what makes the most sense with my line of reasoning.

See, I think the Kaldorei sentinels wouldn't be thrown too off by someone using a strange stance. And at this point, they've sort of seen most things people do. (Plus, as far as we know, there aren't any swordsman schools/stances in warcraft beyond SWING DAT SWORD).

Social changes, sure, rough to adjust to. Combat changes? I think Kaldorei would be some of the best at adapting to a new battlefield.
