Had a pretty cool RP! Lots of shamans, and terrible soup that Takoda cooked.

Logs:
Spoiler:
Logging started on 01/05/2015 at 13:35:30.
14:19:02 Ugram is having a late-day snooze by the cart. He cannot be woken by any mortal means. Not yet.
14:25:59 Takoda | A very green smelling scent eminates from one of the huts, it's pretty strong.
14:27:07 Rannaz 's spirit-wolfy form sniffs the air. The sickly, diseased looking spirit wolf stands and turns, following the scent.
14:28:19 Takoda looks up from the pot in front of him to the wolf. He would stare at the wolf for a while before a "...can I help you?" comes from him.
14:29:09 Rannaz looks down at the pot, giving it a stare. "What is that?"
14:31:19 Takoda looks to the pot quickly and then to Rannaz, "It is a broth made from what I had to get rid of from my lab." Takoda seems a little hesitant. "Do you normally invite yourself into the houses of strangers?" Takoda seems a little confused.
14:32:26 Rannaz tilts her head a bit in ponderance. "Quite often, yes." The wolf would reply, before standing and moving closer to the pot. "Is it poisenous?"
14:34:07 Takoda looks over the wolf and shrugs to himself, "No, just carries a very strong taste. It does not have the spices that a normal broth would have, just herbs and twigs."
14:34:26 [Rannaz]: So, it is definatly and without a doubt not food?
14:35:01 Eta is making her way through Orgrimmar but stops as she hears a familiar voice. She looks up first, and then over to her right. She peers inside.
14:35:35 [Takoda]: Depends on what you call food, it is more like a flavored batch of hot water.
14:35:52 Takoda shrugs at the wolf, "Better than wasting everything."
14:36:07 [Rannaz]: I like food that is hot.
14:36:08 Rannaz nods.
14:36:15 [Rannaz]: Much better than cold, writhing food.
14:37:23 Takoda peers at Rannaz, "What do you eat that you would consider 'writhing'?" Takoda shakes his head, taking a moment to peer at the other tauren outside as he clears his throat. "Does not sound very healthy."
14:37:23 Eta turns to walk up the first few steps of the house, and places a hand on the side of the entrance, "I got tired of sitting around on those hills. It's interesting that I run into you again."
14:38:28 Rannaz nods her head to the left and right in a tempo-like fashion. "Fresh, fresh fish of the eight tentacled variety."
14:39:31 Takoda cocks his head at Eta, staring and surveying for bit with a confused expression before a wave of realization seems to take him over. "Interesting, yes!"
14:40:21 Eta eyes the spirit wolf before looking back up towards Takoda, "Am I intruding?"
14:40:50 Ugram blinks a couple of times, but remains asleep.
14:42:39 [Rannaz]: The beaks are the worst.
14:42:55 Takoda shakes his head, "It is not my home but I do not think the owner will mind." He motions to the empty area near the pot of broth, "We are on good terms." Takoda looks to Rannaz, "For eating?"
14:43:39 Tunkar lumbers the path in Orgrimmar. His axes clank and clang, one of them clearly not as well stowed as the others. But he appears to be carrying the extra weight in stride.
14:44:05 Eta leans forward a little more, causing the wood of the frame to creak, before entering and taking a seat inside of the house.
14:44:52 Ugram is still clearly asleep by the cart, which has a continually grumpy kodo attached to it.
14:45:02 Balgarn is walking down the road, heavy metallic footfalls heralding his arrival. He's only half-way watching where he's going, jotting down something on a parchment as he goes.
14:45:03 Rannaz nods her head slowly, and doesn't stop when she begins speaking. "Yes, for eating. They are hard, they cut the cums and stick between the teeth. I would not reccomend them."
14:45:47 Ugram murmurs something in old, Bleeding Hollow during this likely soon-ending nap.
14:46:04 [Takoda]: Well luckily I do not eat beaks.
14:46:10 [Rannaz]: Why not?
14:46:27 Eta looks into the air for half a minute with a transfixed visage. Suddenly, she snaps out of it and looks to Takoda, "Plainstrider?"
14:46:34 [Ugram]: <You threw the torch too short, you worthless, spineless ...>
14:47:14 Ugram coughs in his sleep. It seems to jolt him, but not so that he's awake - or aware of the orcs gathering on either side of him.
14:47:22 Tunkar proceeds farther down, the blades of his axes scraping against each other. His eyes focus around the city, his mouth formed in a scowl.
14:47:31 Takoda clears his throat, "I should make myself more clear, I do not -like- eating beaks at all."
14:47:36 Balgarn ends up rather walking into the nearby fencing, with a loud metallic clang. Not that he fell, but it does make him suddenly peer at it. "Mmh."
14:48:07 Ugram is now awake. Good job. His eyes roll open fairly laxly.
14:48:08 [Rannaz]: It is fortunate that I do not carry beaks in my possesion, then.
14:48:09 Eta | Blind-dance slithers out from his spot on Eta's staff, and perches on her right shoulder. He points his head in the air towards Rannaz, tongue flicking.
14:48:16 [Ugram]: Mmrh...
14:48:33 Tunkar peers at Balgarn, eyeing the Orc "You okay?"
14:48:36 Ugram peers at Balgarn. He also peers at the fencing he seems to be construed with.
14:49:22 Balgarn peers back down at the parchment in his hands. "No," he answers, rather quickly. "Worthless. Going to need to start again. Maybe something more..." He balls up the parchment in one gauntleted fist.
14:49:56 [Ugram]: ... A... Soldier who cannot predict that which is ... <yawn> totally in front of him...
14:50:10 Takoda watches the snake as it starts to move, his gaze fixated on it as he asks, "What brings you to Ogrimmar?" He says looking up from Blind-dance to Eta.

Rannaz stands up, turns about, and makes her way out of the house.
14:50:30 [Tunkar]: What doing?
14:51:08 Ugram looks around, still groggy, at the group which now has been complemented by a spirit wolf.
14:51:09 Eta looks at Takoda first, "I was in the area due to..." she transfers her gaze to Rannaz, "...my duties."
14:51:17 Balgarn snorts audibly, peering over his shoulder towards Zeth'ugram, then giving Tun'kar a brief glance. "Trying to write. Getting nowhere."
14:51:22 [Ugram]: ... Iskul'aka? About time you've arrived.
14:52:10 [Tunkar]: It not better write on table? Not that Tun'kar know how, but Tun'kar see other people write like that.
14:52:35 Eta | Blind-dance turns his attention to Takoda now that Rannaz has left, and nearly slides off Eta's shoulder. He moves his body up and down.
14:52:36 Takoda raises his eyebrow at the leaving Rannaz, he snorts and mini-shrugs to himself. "Do you mind me asking what those duties are?" Takoda sounds interested but still flat in tone.
14:53:00 [Balgarn]: No. I need to be moving...doing something. Or I might hit something. I'd rather not hit something right now.
14:53:32 [Eta]: One of the spirits I walk with requires an object hidden somewhere in the barrens. He is at unrest.
14:53:32 [Ugram]: ... Honorable writing is best done with stone.
14:53:55 Ugram eyes the spirit wolf as it conspicuously approaches him. "Are you ready to undertake your task?"
14:54:17 [Tunkar]: Hitting something good when angry. If can find thing to hit. Tun'kar hunt when need fight...and hungry.
14:54:39 [Eta]: So what are you doing here Takoda, so far from your tribe?
14:55:07 Ugram falls apart internally with each clause Tun'kar utters.
14:55:35 [Balgarn]: Trust me...I've hunted more than my fair share. Writing is calming. I need that now. ...if I could just focus.
14:56:21 [Ugram]: . . . Urhm.
14:56:28 [Rannaz]: "Urhm."
14:56:37 Takoda stirs the broth in front of him slowly before setting the stirring stick down and taking a slow seat to the ground. " I exaplained to you my relationship with the rest of the Skychaser tribe, right?" Takoda genuinely doesn't seem to know.
14:56:41 Ugram looks at maybe-Iskul'aka confusedly.
14:57:18 Rannaz sloooowly turns her head to the left, until she's staring down at Zeth'ugram.
14:57:33 [Tunkar]: If need something to hit, maybe fight Tun'kar? Tun'kar need get stronger. Tun'kar strongest Orc. Now Tun'kar need to be strongest.
14:57:41 Eta extends her arm in front of herself and allows Blind-Dance to crawl on it before he slips off and plops on the floor, "I recall you being uncertain about whether or not you'd gain the approval of your elders."
14:58:31 [Ugram]: You're not Iskul'aka. Reveal yourself, then - it's a matter of courtesy.
14:58:33 Ugram stares back.
14:58:42 [Rannaz]: I am Ran.
14:58:44 [Rannaz]: I run.
14:59:22 [Balgarn]: No. If I fight, I am to kill. I don't want to kill, not now. Best if I just keep writing.
14:59:27 [Ugram]: Hello Ran, who Runs.
14:59:36 [Rannaz]: Running is all I do.
14:59:39 Ugram looks at Ran-Who-Runs slightly incredulously, but he gives her a nod.
14:59:58 [Ugram]: Interesting.
15:00:09 [Rannaz]: Tell me, about you.
15:00:31 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar die once. Tun'kar die again one day. Not today. When Tun'kar finish what need do, then Tun'kar die.
15:01:06 [Ugram]: I am the elder of this valley. Zeth'ugram.
15:01:30 [Balgarn]: Hm. My advice is to finish what you need to do quickly, then. We don't always have a say on when the spirits claim us.
15:02:20 [Takoda]: I am not on great terms with most of my tribe seeing as I decided to stop learning about spirits and such when it was really needed and I already made progress.
15:02:42 [Rannaz]: I see.
15:02:55 [Rannaz]: What do you do, Zeth'ugram of this Valley?
15:03:08 Ziz uses his can to guide his steps tapping them against the metal. He observes the orcs for moments off to the side.
15:03:09 Tunkar nods, pointing to himself "Tun'kar. What name?"
15:03:42 Ziz looks at you.
15:03:44 [Ugram]: I am responsible for all of those who live here. I give what knowledge I can and ensure traditions are met.
15:03:44 Eta adjusts her arm to a vertical position to keep Blind-Dance from falling off, and tilts her head as she stares at him, "And yet it is the duty of every elder to guide its young, keep them from going astray."
15:04:02 Eta looks to Takoda again, "So what made them forsake their duties, truly?"
15:04:19 Ziz stops, blinking a few times seeing the etheral beast. "Uhm...There's a ghost next to you, buddy."
15:04:28 Balgarn grunts, tapping his quill against his armor idly. "Balgarn Bloodscribe. And before you ask, no, I don't write with the blood of my enemies, despite the name. ...usually."
15:04:54 [Rannaz]: Is there anythig I could assist with, then?
15:05:02 Balgarn grunts, "Blood makes terrible ink, anyway..."
15:05:07 Ugram looks at the goblin as if the goblin were an unwanted morsel of food. He looks back to Ran-who-Runs.
15:05:12 Ziz steps back startled, "Oh!"
15:05:35 [Ugram]: Perhaps there is. You are a shaman, then - shamans are always valued. Surely you have your own work, though?
15:06:01 Takoda looks to Eta with a disappointed expression, "Well, they tried. They tried really hard to keep me going the right way but I actively avoided it." He nods at Eta. "I told you about my practices in alchemy?"
15:06:17 [Rannaz]: The security and safety of my people are my primery concern.
15:06:32 Tunkar breaks his serious look and laughs "How get name? Tun'kar is Skullkeeper because take stupid human skulls."
15:06:37 Ziz adjusts his hat. "Hmm."
15:06:58 [Ugram]: As it is mine.
15:06:59 Eta suddenly loosens her position, and her demeanor changes just as quickly. She pulls the snake off her arm and sets him on the ground, letting out a grunt as she does, "I remember that." She grabs a bowl off one of the table and leans forward to scoop out -
15:07:02 Ziz knocks politely on the doorway.
15:07:25 [Balgarn]: Ahem. Let's just say that I found out that blood makes a terrible ink the hard way. That, and death knight who is a scribe. It fit.
15:07:28 Eta - some soup for herself. She sips it rather uncautiously, "Are you as bad of an alchemist as you are a cook?"
15:07:50 [Rannaz]: Wonderfull.
15:08:18 [Ugram]: I must question your reason for offering help to an elder of a small valley such as this, though.
15:08:53 Eta | Blind-Dance seems unphased by being more or less tossed aside for a bowl of soup. He curls into a ball next to her leg.
15:09:08 [Rannaz]: Everything is connected. A small push can set forward a much larger object's motion.
15:09:41 Takoda looks to the door, "If you are wanting to come in, I am not stopping you." He looks to the broth and then to Eta, he smirks a bit. "It is not meant to be a professional dish. Just a way to use my old expired ingredients."
15:09:45 [Ugram]: Astute thinking. Well, then... Hrm.
15:09:59 Tunkar rubs his chin, then it clicks "Right...have dead eyes. It remind Tun'kar of ... Duh-rah-nee...eyes. So, what write about? Balgarn write story?"
15:09:59 Ugram begins to think.
15:11:28 Eta shrugs and then goes for a second bowl anyways, dipping it in and getting the tips of her fingers wet, even. Before taking a few more sips, she continues, "So why can't you let them know you're willing to step up to the plate and perform the duty assigne
15:11:29 [Ugram]: I oversee a commune focused on such things - augmenting the Horde in small but noticeable ways.
15:11:31 Rannaz stares blankly at you.
15:11:40 Eta - assigned to you."
15:11:42 [Rannaz]: Such as?
15:11:47 Balgarn looks down at the crumpled paper. "I often write down events to keep record, or make maps. And sometimes tell stories, yes. I...was attempting to write something to memorialize someone...dear to me. But no words do him justice."
15:12:34 [Ugram]: We have blacksmiths, an alchemist, a shaman aside from yourself. They apply their skills individually to aid the Horde from within, so to speak. Repairing things. Solving feuds.
15:13:18 [Rannaz]: Fueds between...whom?
15:13:34 [Ugram]: Any group. I've sent our shaman to deal with two bickering trolls.
15:13:46 Tunkar nods solemnly "Tun'kar try do something for someone Tun'kar love. It not do so good. But Tun'kar not give up. Tun'kar keep trying until it right."
15:13:54 [Rannaz]: What are they bickering about?
15:14:10 [Ugram]: I'm not sure. All I know is they demanded arbitration.
15:14:15 Takoda rubs the back of his neck, "I have not tried yet, I have sort of been stuck in a lull here."
15:14:33 Balgarn nods, peering down. "Yes, you're right. I'll keep at it...he'd have appreciated the gesture, I know."

15:16:50 [Ugram]: The one who'd approached me was ... Zandali has a way of warping the tongue. Mar'ta'bem'thwaze, I believe.
15:17:19 [Rannaz]: I have not met this Troll. I've not met many trolls, at all.
15:17:55 Eta pushes herself up out of a seated position but in doint so accidentally pushes against the empty bowl of soup. This causes the bowl to flip over and make a loud and hollow noise, disturbing the snake nestled against her leg.
15:18:02 Tunkar 's face contorts "En...enca...encou...that...that word that mean helping, right? Tun'kar hear before."
15:18:21 [Ugram]: I can imagine. I believe he is either a priest of a shaman. Either way, he consorts with spirits, and so it is important that his quarrel be solved so that he can continue his work.
15:18:34 [Eta]: You will remain in this lull until you get off your behind and do something about it. You lack discipline.
15:19:47 Takoda stares at Eta with a disappointed face, he opens his mouth to retort but just snaps it shut.
15:19:49 [Rannaz]: And the other?
15:20:00 [Ugram]: I do not know.
15:20:15 [Rannaz]: Oh dear.
15:20:18 [Balgarn]: ...mm, yes, in a way.
15:20:31 [Ugram]: I expect Iskul'aka to find out.
15:20:53 [Eta]: You may finish your soup. Those expired ingredients are expired, but they still shouldn't be wasted.
15:21:18 [Rannaz]: And who is that?
15:21:27 [Ugram]: Our shaman.
15:21:55 Tunkar grins proud "Good. Tun'kar want know more words. Then Tun'kar be smartest Orc too!"
15:22:10 Ugram blinks a couple of times at Tun'kar.
15:22:48 [Balgarn]: Hah! Well, there is never an end to things to learn. That quest would keep you busy for a long time.
15:23:04 Takoda looks to the soup, "Right, it should almost be done. Are you waiting on me?"
15:23:20 [Rannaz]: Interesting. Very, very interesting!
15:23:21 Rannaz nods.
15:23:24 [Eta]: I am waiting on that pot to empty. Invite others to help if you must.
15:23:28 [Ugram]: ... My thanks.
15:23:36 Ugram looks a little confused at this whole exchange, but nods firmly either way.
15:23:40 [Rannaz]: You are welcome.
15:23:44 Tunkar nods "When Tun'kar build city, Tun'kar make book place and put...books...in it! So smart people come to city too!"
15:23:49 Rannaz nods her head slowly, still staring at Ugram.
15:24:09 Eta stands still and sturdy, her eyes staring off - someplace else.
15:24:10 [Ugram]: How long are you here, and do you intend to consistently provide aid - or is this simply one step on a road for you?
15:24:15 [Balgarn]: Mm....hmm. You're wanting to build a whole city?
15:24:27 [Rannaz]: The road is long, and with many twists and turns.
15:25:16 Tunkar nods, enthusiastically "Tun'kar build city and name Tun'kalar after Tun'kar sister. Tun'kar sister best Orc that ever live, even better than warchief!"
15:25:27 Eta | Blind-Dance doesn't move his entire body, but he's interested in the droplets of soup that have spilled from the flipped-over bowl.
15:26:24 Balgarn smirks. "Well, building a city isn't an easy task. It takes a lot of work. And materials."
15:26:51 Takoda pushes himself off his butt with a grunt. He walks to the door, "If any of you standing around are hungry, there is soup in here!" Takoda yells at the group gathered outside.
15:26:52 [Ugram]: That doesn't quite clear my question.
15:27:01 [Ugram]: ... Takoda?
15:27:03 [Rannaz]: I cannot say with any degree of certainty.
15:27:17 [Ugram]: ... Very well. I would appreciate your help.
15:27:18 [Rannaz]: Any, any at all. At all.
15:27:36 Ugram looks up to Takoda.
15:28:26 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar learn hard way. Tun'kar try but not work. Tun'kar think long time, and Tun'kar maybe start with clan. City not easy start with.
15:28:30 [Takoda]: Should be hot for another hour or so, take your time.
15:28:44 Takoda looks back to Eta, "Is that good enough?"
15:28:45 Ugram calls to Takoda.
15:29:03 [Ugram]: You may be able to help Iskul'aka, Ran-who-Runs.
15:29:09 [Eta]: I will not move from this place until all of what you have used has been consumed.
15:29:20 [Rannaz]: Perhaps I can, shold I meet him or her.
15:29:36 Balgarn peers past Tun'kar for a moment, then back at the orc. "Seems they are offering soup. Go ahead, if you want any."
15:29:39 [Ugram]: Her. You should. She'll be around... Some time.
15:29:51 [Rannaz]: Which?
15:30:37 [Ugram]: I cannot be sure.
15:31:10 [Rannaz]: Oh dear.
15:31:19 [Rannaz]: We are all, so often unsure.
15:31:36 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar hungry, but Tun'kar not bring anything to offer for food. Tun'kar walk long way from..Da-sal-iss...De...Desolace?
15:31:42 [Ugram]: It is difficult to keep track of the tracks of so many, heh.
15:32:06 Takoda sighs impatiently. He looks back to the orcs all gathered, then to Eta and then back. He grumbles as he walks over.
15:32:17 [Balgarn]: I don't think they are asking for anything. You can at least ask.
15:32:18 [Rannaz]: Perhaps, make them wear bells.
15:32:30 [Ugram]: ... Hrmph.
15:32:33 Ugram chuckles quietly for a moment.
15:33:24 [Rannaz]: It could work.
15:33:50 [Takoda]: Are any of you hungry?
15:33:59 Takoda seems intimitated by those he talks to.
15:34:05 [Ugram]: It may, however, be the ultimate dishonor.
15:34:07 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar not like take food for nothing. Unless from Goblin. Goblin have too much, and greedy. And Tun'kar still pay! Just pay with small coin.
15:34:17 A sly smirk spreads across Tunkar's face.
15:34:29 [Ugram]: ... Tun'kar, the food is part of our hospitality.
15:34:33 Balgarn shrugs at Tun'kar, then looks towards Takoda. He grunts. "I don't eat."
15:34:47 Rannaz lays down, her paws folding.
15:34:48 Rannaz falls asleep. Zzzzzzz.
15:35:15 [Ugram]: ...
15:35:22 Tunkar looks confused a moment, then realizes the voice addressing him is -behind- Balgarn "..huh?"
15:35:33 Ugram looks at the sunken wolf.
15:35:33 Rannaz continues to stare.
15:36:06 Takoda frowns and makes his way back to the hut.
15:36:07 [Ugram]: ... Hrm. Well. We ought to see what they've made.
15:36:17 Ugram would slowly, sloooowly pick himself up.
15:36:27 Balgarn looks back towards Tun'kar. "Go on to the tauren, I think he wants people to eat."
15:36:28 [Rannaz]: I just got comfortable.
15:36:31 Rannaz stands back up.
15:36:40 [Tunkar]: What word elder say mean? Hos..ho-spit...
15:36:40 [Ugram]: ... Herh.
15:36:49 [Ugram]: ... Hospitality.
15:37:01 [Tunkar]: ..right. What mean?
15:37:09 [Ugram]: It's sharing with others what you have.
15:37:19 Ugram nods firmly, then ascends the accursed stairs.
15:37:23 [Tunkar]: Oh. Tun'kar understand.
15:37:28 You peer at Takoda searchingly.
15:37:38 Eta continues to stand still as a statue. Her stare is still someplace else. If one were to look into her eyes, they might assume she has completely shut off, but behind the blankness would be a glimmer of someone wanting to look at new company.
15:37:49 Takoda looks back as the orc comes up the stairs, "Sorry Elder." He moves out of the way.
15:38:00 [Ugram]: ... Ah. You've brought a lady-friend.
15:38:01 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar hope Balgarn find words.
15:38:11 Ugram walks in now that his way is unobstructed.
15:38:20 Eta | Blind-Dance gets his head stuck underneath the bowl and raises it up, now wearing it like a hat. Uncomfortably.
15:38:25 [Balgarn]: Thank you. I'm sure I will, it will just take time.
15:38:25 Rannaz closely follows Ugram.
15:38:25 Ugram | ... And plops down in his spot, snake or no snake.
15:38:34 Tunkar salutes Balgarn with respect.
15:38:38 Ugram would look at it, though. He frowns. He also looks at Eta!
15:38:49 [Ugram]: Greetings.
15:38:57 Eta | Blind-Dance is safe, to Eta's right hoof!
15:39:02 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar get soup. Lok'tar!
15:39:21 Balgarn bows his head, fist hitting his chest. "May your blade be true."
15:39:26 Takoda 's gaze swaps between watching Zeth and watching Eta. He seems a little uneasy.
15:39:37 Eta seems to' turn on' very quickly. She looks down at Ugram with an exhausted expression, "Hello."
15:39:51 Tunkar 's axes clank all the way to the house.
15:39:53 [Ugram]: A friend of my alchemist?
15:40:03 [Eta]: A guide.
15:40:13 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar can go in?
15:40:16 Tunkar peers at Takoda searchingly.
15:40:33 Takoda moves to the left, "Yes, take plenty of the soup too."
15:40:37 Balgarn looks back at the crumpled paper still gripped in his hand. He disposes of it, sighing before heading down towards the hut where the others are gathered, though just silently observing.
15:40:38 Rannaz stares at the bowl, slowly drumming her claws against the stone floor.
15:40:45 [Eta]: Sorry to tell you, but he's no longer your alchemist. He's my shaman in training now.
15:40:54 [Ugram]: ... Is that so?
15:40:59 [Eta]: Yes.
15:41:08 Ugram raises an eyebrow at Takoda.
15:41:17 [Eta]: I will return him to you once he has learned what is required of him.
15:41:18 Tunkar peers at the ground uncertainly.
15:41:29 [Ugram]: Truly sudden.
15:41:51 Takoda 's jaw almost drops, "I thought you wanted something saying it was fine for you to train me first?"
15:41:53 Eta 's stare remains intense and assertive, "As life can be."
15:42:40 Eta looks to Takoda, "You will remain in your lull if I restrict myself."
15:42:46 Tunkar tries to ease his way onto the ground. A slight screech of metal is heard as he sits.
15:43:22 [Ugram]: ... I will say that I am interested, but Skychaser is oath-bound to his work for our group. I can be flexibile, but I would prefer if he were not spirited away without my knowing, so to speak.
15:44:10 [Eta]: That is precisely what he needs to be, in the most literal of senses. Spirited away.
15:44:32 [Ugram]: ... Ha.
15:44:42 Rannaz stares blankly at Tunkar.
15:44:54 Tunkar peers at Rannaz searchingly.
15:45:03 [Ugram]: I will allow it, but he must complete his work with the kodo before he is to leave.
15:45:09 Ugram states a simply ultimatum.

15:45:09 Ugram states a simply ultimatum.
15:46:01 Eta was serious, and her expression shows it, "He'll have to push himself hard, then. But I have a child, I know how to keep him from falling into exhaustion."
15:46:35 [Ugram]: Good.
15:46:51 [Eta]: And before he finishes his work with the kodo, this soup must be completely consumed.
15:46:58 Ugram looks at the sooouuuupp now, for the first time since he has entered the building.
15:47:12 [Ugram]: I am assuming your scaled companion isn't an escaped ingredient.
15:47:12 Takoda peers at Eta, "Do you mind if I ask why?"
15:47:20 Ugram chuckles with somewhat poor taste.
15:47:35 [Eta]: You are a Shu'halo, why must you need to ask why?
15:47:41 Tunkar notices the snake, keeping an eye on it.
15:48:36 Balgarn steps up to the entrance of the hut. He peers in, then leans to the side against the doorway.
15:48:40 Eta | Blind-Dance is slithering around with a bowl over his head. He may be blind, but his sense of smell is blocked by the strong, expired ingredients of what was once in the bowl. He bonks into Tun'kar's leg.
15:48:57 [Ugram]: You may enter, writer-on-parchment.
15:49:14 Ugram looks at the potential snake-tastrophe about to happen.
15:49:20 [Balgarn]: Is that my defining feature to you?
15:49:37 [Takoda]: Ah right. *ahem* It is a very green and healthy soup, taste is a little on the low end but it should help keep you focused and feeling... good.
15:49:46 [Ugram]: For now. Your image will expand in scale in time.
15:50:10 Tunkar peers at the snake, then picls it up, examiningly. He tries to be careful with the bowl and to set the snake on the other side of him.
15:50:12 [Eta]: In other words, it's not great. But eat up.
15:50:29 [Ugram]: I've had worse. Far, far worse.
15:50:43 Rannaz stares blankly at her surroundings.
15:50:49 [Rannaz]: I must go, swiftly.
15:50:52 [Rannaz]: I will be back, maybe.
15:50:57 Ugram would kind of shuffle over to a wall, grabbing a bowl of his own which would be strewn by said wall.
15:51:01 Rannaz scrambles up, and then bolts out the door!
15:51:01 [Ugram]: ... Hrm? Do be back.
15:51:16 You kneel down.
15:51:43 Eta clears her throat and addresses the Orcs, although she's eying Takoda, "For us Shu'halo, waste is anathema. Even if the ingredients are spoiled, food is food in a time of famine."
15:52:42 Ugram fills the bowl to the brim - he seems to submerge his fingers in the likely very hot liquid for a moment, his left eyelid fluttering as a result. But, he has soup now.
15:52:58 [Ugram]: Pragmatism is not isolated to your kind.
15:53:02 Ugram speaks simply.
15:53:25 [Eta]: As it shouldn't be.
15:53:29 [Ugram]: Mmh.
15:53:43 Ugram takes a big, unbridled sip. His eyes bug out. Just for a moment.
15:54:12 Eta returns to a muse, standing patiently, as if an hour of waiting for people to finish some soup were nothing to her.
15:54:56 [Ugram]: It's a unique brew.
15:55:13 Ugram just says that. He licks his lips just to ensure he missed nothing. He scoops another bowl-full.
15:55:32 Takoda stares off in the distance. "Unique is a good word for it."
15:55:40 Eta | Blind-Dance wouldn't mind having been picked up, and if the bowl were removed, he'd flick his tongue towards the person handling him.
15:56:06 [Balgarn]: I can...smell it from here. Which is a feat in itself.
15:56:34 [Ugram]: ... Right, do you need a bowl, Tun'kar? How do you have your soup?
15:56:45 Ugram looks at him manipulating the snake-bowl a little.
15:57:11 Tunkar peers at the soup. He would appear slightly hesitant, but nods "Tun'kar need bowl."
15:57:39 Ugram would then take another gulp of the stuff. Soup's not gonna bring him down. He nods at Tun'kar half way through this brave act, heading over to the wall and grabbing another bowl.
15:57:45 You kneel down.
15:57:51 [Ugram]: Anyone else?
15:58:05 Eta | Blind-Dance continues to move around, bowl bonking whatever he moves towards.
15:59:01 [Ugram]: I suppose not.
15:59:04 Balgarn remains silent, crossing his arms as he keeps leaning against the doorway.
15:59:20 Ugram hands it to Tun'kar! His arm is over the steaming soup.
15:59:23 [Takoda]: ...What else did you need me to do with the kodo?
15:59:44 [Ugram]: I want you to quantify how it reacted to the ... Medicine.
15:59:53 [Ugram]: And see if it's become more pliable and less bite-y.
16:00:31 Tunkar takes the bowl with a nod, dipping it in the soup. and drinking it with a slurp.
16:00:49 [Ugram]: What brings you here, warrior?
16:01:31 Eta | Blind-Dance is flickering his tail a little now, the scent of the soup overwhelming his senses and exhausting them. He's agitated, in other words.
16:01:52 Ugram looks down at snake-in-a-bowl.
16:02:08 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar want train in arena. Tun'kar maybe go east and see what there. Need get strong and start clan.
16:02:27 [Ugram]: ... Start a clan, hm?
16:02:31 Eta notices her snake's upsettance right away and demands, "Could you hand him to me?"
16:02:42 [Ugram]: Very well.
16:02:53 Ugram grabs the... The bowl? The snake? Who knows! He scoops it up, either way.
16:03:07 Ugram | With none too gentle a hand, but he won't squish the poor feller.
16:03:08 Tunkar nods "Clan first, then city. City of Tun'kalar! Gonna be best city."
16:03:14 Eta | Blind-Dance will bite anything that gets in front of his head!
16:03:33 Eta grabs Blind-Dance and allows him to bite into her finger, bowl falling to the floor and making a loud noise.
16:03:59 Ugram is probably bitten too, then. He doesn't seem to react much. Those hands are so calloused they're basically two big footballs.
16:04:20 [Ugram]: Well, you have your steps marked out.
16:04:39 Takoda watches the snake bite everyone, he has the same expression he had when trying to drug the kodo.
16:05:37 Eta looks down at her finger, which Blind-Dance still has his fangs sunk into, "He gets this way when he experiences too much. It is a good thing, and a bad thing." Blood trickles from her fur and onto the floor, but her expression remains blank.
16:05:58 [Ugram]: Exciteable thing. Could use some of Takoda's medicine... Ha.
16:06:17 Tunkar peers at the snake, then the blood. He shrugs, and takes some more soup.
16:06:54 Takoda looks over his shoulder, "I still do not know if it worked with the kodo."
16:07:06 [Eta]: I am more or less immune to any venom.
16:07:07 Ugram | The kodo is quietly splayed out.
16:07:15 [Ugram]: Oh, no, I meant the snake.
16:07:28 Ugram takes another big, big gulp of the soup. Die, soup.
16:08:02 [Eta]: He just needs something to bite into in a time like this. Snakes are very sensitive.
16:08:44 [Ugram]: I can't say I knew that. Looking at it, it seems unlikely.
16:09:45 [Eta]: Some kinds more than others. Much like us people, some bite more often.
16:10:12 [Ugram]: Mm. Interesting perspective.
16:10:16 Ugram | The soup is dwindling.
16:10:25 Tunkar finishes his soup, placing his bowl at his side.
16:10:26 [Ugram]: And, like the kodo outside, some bite all too much.
16:10:35 Ugram shoots it a knowing look, even though it can't possibly see him.
16:11:13 Eta looks towards the doorway, and almost through the two that are standing in it, "A misbehaving kodo?"
16:11:34 Ugram would take the final dregs of it, taking one for the team. He swallows it down like hard liquor more than anything else.
16:12:06 [Ugram]: ... Rrgh... Mm, yes. It's still tethered to the cart - can't be trusted. It's a spirited, ornery thing we'd acquired out of the kindness of an elder I am friends with.
16:12:29 Balgarn isn't even paying attention to the conversation anymore. He has a parchment out, pen moving as he jots things down on it.
16:13:15 [Eta]: It simply requires more restraint, from what I've heard.
16:13:33 [Takoda]: I made something to calm it down, I still do not know if it worked.
16:13:52 [Ugram]: Mm.
16:14:15 [Eta]: It needs another kodo or an owner with a strong arm constantly by its side.
16:14:32 Tunkar pushes himself up, slowly. The axes clang once again, and Tun'kar stumbles slightly once he gets to his feet.
16:14:45 [Ugram]: I'm not sure what is meant by a strong arm. I cannot beat a kodo, of course.
16:14:56 Ugram stands up too. He takes much longer than Tun'kar's already bloated motions.
16:15:35 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar thank for food. One day Tun'kar do something good in return.
16:15:46 [Eta]: Simply somebody who can hold it back, not beat it.
16:15:57 [Ugram]: You ought to look at it. I feel you've a keen way with such things, at least by your knowledge of serpents.
16:16:17 [Ugram]: You do not need to repay us, Tun'kar. Not a debt.
16:16:41 [Eta]: Very different creatures, but I have -
16:16:49 Eta stops herself short, "I could look at it, yes."
16:16:56 Tunkar stands at attention and salutes.
16:17:17 [Ugram]: Mm.
16:17:24 Ugram takes the initiative and starts walking outside.
16:17:27 [Tunkar]: Tun'kar go see arena. Lok'tar, friends.
16:17:34 [Ugram]: ... Oh. Very well.
16:17:43 Ugram looks at the two obstructions, now.
16:17:53 Balgarn wordlessly moves off closer to the edge of the steps. He's still writing.
16:17:55 Takoda snorts as he turns to get out of the way.
16:18:02 Ugram nods firmly.
16:18:08 Eta grabs the entire pot and drinks what's left out of it before leaving.
16:18:09 Ugram survived the stairs.
16:19:10 Ugram | There is a kodo, here! Still tied to the wagon, its limbs are somewhat endearingly splayed out in all cardinal directions, its head slumped down. Its eyes are lidded so that its mood cannot be immediately gauged.
16:19:54 Takoda watches from a distance.
16:20:00 Eta gives it one quick look and is quick to announce, "It's sick."
16:20:10 Balgarn heads down the rest of the steps. He leans against some crates while he continues his frantic scribbling.
16:20:11 [Ugram]: ... Uh ... Really?
16:20:15 Ugram looks bewildered.
16:20:30 Ugram | The kodo does nothing to deny or corroborate these claims. It just lays down.
16:20:45 [Eta]: Most likely - I've only seen kodo do that when exhausted, although it could be its personality.
16:21:13 [Ugram]: I feel it may just be dejected. It nearly ran all the way here from Razor Hill in its fury, and now it is corralled. It bites, by the way.
16:21:23 Ugram says that last part as a warning rather than interesting trivia.
16:21:57 [Eta]: How long have you had him?
16:22:45 [Ugram]: Two weeks.
16:23:24 [Eta]: That's enough time for concern. Do you know any of its past in detail?
16:24:02 [Ugram]: I'm afraid not. It was a kind gift from another elder. It was in a large, open pen in Razor Hill, so I can't imagine it was mistreated.
16:24:14 [Ugram]: It was furious and ornery from the moment we'd set eyes on it, though.
16:25:39 [Eta]: If a kodo is not trained at an early age its personality can develop that way.
16:26:01 Eta tilts her head, "Still, the way its legs are, it really does seem exhausted."
16:26:47 [Ugram]: It started doing that after a week of being here. I'm sure being tied to one place has caused its spirit to diminish, but I can hardly let it free and tear half the valley up.
16:26:55 Ugram grunts at the problem.
16:28:02 [Eta]: You need a kodo herder - they might be able to dedicate the time to train it and replenish its spirit. It's their job, after all.
16:28:32 [Ugram]: I thought about a thing, but I wasn't sure it was necessary. I feel there is still hope for Takoda's medicine.
16:29:21 [Eta]: A long term problem cannot be solved with such a short-termed solution.
16:29:46 [Takoda]: Our problem right now is getting it to move.
16:29:58 [Takoda]: That is why I made the medicine for it.
16:30:18 [Ugram]: That, and to calm it down. It looks calm now, but...
16:30:31 [Ugram]: Well, it nearly took Skychaser's arm off.
16:31:05 Eta turns all the way around, suddenly exchanging her attention to Takoda, "See what that can do, but seek a herder. There are many benefits there - a trainer, a traveller, and some fellow kodo for it to recognize and feel the need to keep up."
16:32:10 Eta | Blind-Dance finally pulls his fangs out of Eta's finger, and wraps himself around it and other fingers.
16:32:14 Takoda nods slowly in return. "Right."
16:32:16 [Ugram]: Well, if you aren't simply saying this to pry Takoda away from me, then I will have to put credence to it.
16:32:20 Ugram hrms to himself.
16:33:45 Eta squints her eyelids, still looking at Takoda, "No, he needs to stick around and see if this works before he can dedicate his attention to studies - attention is essential."
16:34:09 [Ugram]: Mmh. Good. Takoda, come closer.
16:34:54 Takoda inches closer after a slow unsure nod.
16:35:16 [Ugram]: Does it look like it's changed?

16:35:16 [Ugram]: Does it look like it's changed?
16:36:26 [Takoda]: It looks like it was when you first had me water it.
16:36:45 [Ugram]: ... Which makes me feel like it hasn't been all too affected. Hrm.
16:36:50 Ugram takes a couple steps forward.
16:37:12 Ugram | The kodo points its eye at him, still half-shuttered.
16:37:21 [Takoda]: I always have the stronger dose, maybe I should have done that one first.
16:37:48 [Ugram]: No, it made sense to do it in this order.
16:38:45 [Eta]: I will return shortly, but I must get the one in my hands fed.
16:38:58 [Ugram]: Right. Return soon.
16:39:36 Eta gives Takoda a serious expression, "Medicate carefully." She then turns and heads off.
16:39:45 Ugram | Kodo makes a grumbly noise. Not sure whether it's from its stomach or its throat.
16:40:20 Takoda watches Eta leave and shakes his head to himsef.
16:40:48 [Ugram]: You were convinced surprisingly easily, Takoda.
16:41:39 Takoda turns to Zeth, "Convinced to do what?"
16:41:50 [Ugram]: To follow that shaman.
16:43:29 Takoda chuckles to himself, "I actually had to convince her to train me, I did not expect her to show up and claim me as hers however." He looks to the back of Zeth's head. "Sorry about that Elder."
16:44:29 [Ugram]: I do have grounds to be irritated with how this was handled, but I can't pretend I'm not curious as to your path, now - which is why I will allow it.
16:46:37 Takoda grunts, "Thank you, If you do need anything urgently, I can try to come straight back."
16:47:02 [Ugram]: I doubt I'll interrupt such important training like that. Hrm.
16:47:45 [Ugram]: Well, when she returns, you two will work with this kodo. You may leave when it's capable of taking me from one place to another without endangering our lives. Herm.
16:48:24 Takoda snorts and nods in acknowledgement. "So did the medicine work?"
16:48:37 [Ugram]: I can't tell. It might just be dejected. I was hoping you'd know.
16:50:10 Takoda once again inches closer and closer to the kodo, He uses his staff as a brace the closer he gets.
16:51:22 Ugram | The kodo raises its head.
16:52:06 Takoda flinches a bit, he takes a step back but keeps his eye on the kodo. "Hmm." He surveys the mighty beast.
16:53:01 Ugram | It looks subdued at the moment. Although, as he approaches and jitters about, its eyes open properly.
16:55:05 Takoda sucks in a breath, "I honestly cannot tell, it might have already worn off." Takoda very very hesitantly holds out his hand and inches torwards the Kodo.
16:55:25 Ugram | The kodo opens its jaw widely and gives out a very big yawn.
16:55:40 Ugram | Though its eyes are centered on poor Takoodle.
16:56:39 Takoda breathes sharp and heavy, "It has not tried to bite me yet." He murmurs in the direction of Zeth'ugram. "Maybe it is still in its system."
16:57:01 [Ugram]: Can only hope.
16:57:17 Ugram | It shifts its legs around, as if trying to get up.
16:58:22 Takoda gets ready to fall on his back and crawl away should it try to attack. "Good kodo, good kodo." He murmurs in a sort of calm voice, it sounds more scared than anything.
16:59:12 Ugram | It moves a forward motion towards him, but stops short just after starting.
16:59:22 [Ugram]: ... Hrm. Well... See what you can do with it.
16:59:38 Ugram turns, making a bee-line for the literary DK.
17:01:21 Balgarn peeeeers up, blinking.
17:01:23 Takoda looks over to Zeth leaving and sighs, He continues advancing very slowly on the kodo.
17:01:57 Ugram | The kodo makes a low, resonating growl.
17:02:56 Ugram peers at the writer by his house!
17:03:19 Balgarn taps his pen against the parchment. "...dabu?"
17:04:12 [Ugram]: Do you not carve?
17:05:20 [Balgarn]: Tablets are bulky and difficult to carry about in numbers. When I first joined the army, I had to keep record while we were on the move. Paper is better for that.
17:05:55 [Ugram]: Yes, the paper is better for things that only have fleeting value.
17:05:59 Takoda stops his advancing for a second at the growl, he sneers and then pushes on. His hand about 3 feet from the kodo's face. "I swear I will poison the next thing I give you if you bite me." He murmurs to himself.
17:06:42 [Balgarn]: Parchment can keep if treated well. If there is something that needs to be held onto longer than I expect to exist, I can always transfer it to stone.
17:07:55 Ugram | The kodo lunges forward - no more than a couple of feet, since its legs are still uselessly poised - and growls, louder.
17:08:15 Ugram cringes slightly at the sound behind him, but goes back to the matter at hand.
17:08:45 [Ugram]: Perhaps. At my age, I do not have time for such things.
17:09:09 [Balgarn]: Time is, unfortunately, something I have more of than I would like.
17:09:44 [Ugram]: Hrm.
17:10:02 Ugram sniffs coarsely.
17:11:31 Takoda withdraws his hand, He stares wide-eyed at the kodo mouth a couple feet away from him. "You are up then." Takoda quickly backpedals a couple feet away from the kodo before going through his satchel and retrieving a concoction, he shakes it as he watches.
17:11:33 Balgarn peers back down at his writing, "One say I will be destroyed. Hopefully not before my work is done."
17:12:01 [Ugram]: ... Mm. A respectable goal.
17:12:10 Ugram looks back to make sure Takoda isn't half-way into a kodo's stomach.
17:12:27 Ugram | The kodo continues to growl, but sets its head back down, staring at him from below.
17:13:00 Takoda returns the growl with his own little frustrated "grr" as he shakes the concoction a bit harder.
17:13:32 Balgarn is too busy reading to notice the elder turned away. "I hope so. I pray the spirits see it so when the time comes. I am...uncertain what will happen to me after."
17:14:47 [Ugram]: A worthless question that we all inevitably ponder for too long.
17:15:00 Ugram | Kodo simmers quietly.
17:15:29 [Balgarn]: Mm...if it inspires redemption and a desire to do good, I do not think it so worthless.
17:15:45 [Ugram]: In that case, yes.
17:16:52 Takoda would use his open hand to take his staff and try to pull the kodo's water bowl torwards him.
17:17:24 Balgarn peers up then back down. "Animal trouble?"
17:17:27 Ugram | It works! The water bowl is captured.
17:17:29 [Ugram]: ... Mm.
17:19:43 Takoda leans down, his eyes are locked with the kodo as he does so. Takoda would dump the contents of the vial into the bowl and stir it in with the water by shaking the water bowl. (Shaken not Stirred.) He sets it down on the ground and pushes it back with staf
17:19:53 [Balgarn]: My mate is...was, a worg trainer. A very different kind of beast, though. Afraid I can offer little, most animals do not react well to me until they are acclimated.
17:21:21 [Ugram]: I did not expect you to assist.
17:21:42 [Balgarn]: I can lament my inability regardless.
17:21:48 Ugram | The kodo allows this to happen. It stares at the water - impossible to track suspicion on such an ancient-seeming visage.
17:21:51 [Ugram]: ... Mm.
17:22:14 [Ugram]: At a point, it becomes useless, though. You just do what you can.
17:23:20 Takoda watches the kodo, waiting for it to drink. He watches intensely as if that would make it drink faster.
17:23:53 Ugram | It doesn't drink. It stares at him, as if his existence is an affront.
17:24:37 [Balgarn]: Of course. Too many hours wasted on laments and agonizing over what is or isn't. Mm.
17:25:07 [Ugram]: Right.
17:25:12 Ugram frowns, watching Takoda.
17:26:26 Takoda stares back, still intense as ever.
17:27:21 Ugram | The staring match begins. Sadly, the kodo has the home advantage, it seems.
17:27:58 Balgarn peers up, then back down. "He should probably stop staring at it. Most animals just see that as a challenge."
17:28:48 [Ugram]: ... He'll learn.
17:29:07 Takoda keeps his eyes locked with the kodo as he reaches for some pine nettles in his satchel. He's methodical in the way he pops them in his mouth and chews slowly.
17:29:53 [Balgarn]: ...are you certain?
17:29:56 Ugram | The kodo has superior eyelids. It won't lose. It does snort heftily, though.
17:30:13 [Ugram]: Yes.
17:31:49 Takoda returns the snort, "You are bound to get thirsty eventually."
17:32:20 Ugram | It snorts louder, spraying a fine mist at Takoda.
17:32:22 Ugram frowns.
17:34:30 Takoda wipes the spittle off his face, He chews his pine nettles louder. Takoda murmurs something about using its eye juice for ingredients once it's dead.
17:35:04 [Balgarn]: He...does know that kodos are adapted for dry climates, yes? And thus can go a very long time between drinks?
17:35:32 Ugram shakes his head. "I can't watch this. If you intend to stay here, pledge that you'll save him if he ends up partially between its jaws."
17:36:24 [Balgarn]: Very well, I'll rescue him if the kodo tries to eat him.
17:36:50 [Ugram]: Right. I have to find that shaman, anyway.
17:36:59 [Ugram]: Takoda! I'm leaving for now.
17:37:34 [Takoda]: I will be here.
17:37:40 [Takoda]: Waiting.
17:37:52 [Ugram]: ... Right... Right... Uh --- ... Mm.
17:37:58 Ugram walks off, distinctly worried.

Also, the emergence of a possible new storyline, distinct from the Earthworks!

'Getting to know all about you'
@"KomodoTheCashew"
'I'm not sure whether the medicine has worked - or will work. That shaman who's taken an interest in you seems to know much about kodo. She'll likely be a far greater help with that ornery thing than myself. Do this, and I'll permit you to leave.'

Iskul'aka has successfully settled a conflict which had gone on since the Darkspear Isles! Good job, little troll.

Here are some RP logs, primarily for my own benefit but you may find them useful as well!

Event - Blood Feud

Spoiler:
Logging started on 01/07/2015 at 16:50:59.
16:52:02 Ugram wonders why his house even has steps.
16:52:12 You frown.
16:53:07 Iskula peers up at Zeth'ugram from the floor, stretched out on her side, much more like a dog than a person.
16:53:22 [Ugram]: ... There are you. Or... is that Ran-who-Runs?
16:54:04 Iskula yawns and sits up, shifting into her troll form.
16:54:21 [Ugram]: ... Good. I've had enough surprises with wolves this week.
16:55:42 Iskula nods slowly. "How are you, elder?"
16:56:24 [Ugram]: I am well. I was only stepping in to grab, urh, one of my slates. A heated argument, you see.
16:56:27 Ugram snickers to himself.
16:56:55 Iskula raises her brow. "What kind of argument?" she mumbles.
16:57:11 [Ugram]: ... History. It's no matter of importance for a young shaman.
16:57:46 Iskula furrows her brow. "History is important..."
16:58:32 [Ugram]: It is extremely important. This, though, is the minutiae of clans that will never again exist. It is simply a clash of prides.
16:58:54 [Iskula]: ...Oh.
16:59:19 [Ugram]: ... What -is- important, though, would be that task of yours. Do you feel strong enough for it?
16:59:26 Ugram is a master at subject changing.
16:59:41 Iskula nods. She steps up to her feet. "Y...yes. I think so."
17:00:19 [Ugram]: I can accompany you half of the way, or so, but only that far. They said they'll be in the Darkspear valley, waiting by a bank. All they said.
17:00:33 Ugram turns officiously and without waiting!
17:00:39 [Iskula]: O...kay.
17:00:45 Ugram but the stairs slow him down.
17:01:23 Ugram would stand at the exit of this valley! It's a big ramp.
17:01:34 [Ugram]: ... I try not to leave, so often.
17:01:40 [Iskula]: I must go from here alone?
17:01:41 Ugram looks at it. His bones quiver just at the sight of it.
17:01:44 [Ugram]: Yes.
17:02:02 [Ugram]: If you find yourself in any trouble, send after me, however.
17:02:16 Iskula nods. "I will..."
17:02:29 [Ugram]: ... Spirits be with you, youngling.
17:02:37 [Iskula]: Thank you, elder...

. . .

Logging started on 01/07/2015 at 17:03:00.
17:05:04 You laugh.
17:05:29 [Bektektwan]: ... You keep laughing, boy.
17:05:43 [Bektektwan]: You'll see, soon.
17:06:16 Mopaanja continues laughing, wiping a tear - exaggeratedly and not in good humor whatsoever - from his face.
17:06:31 [Mopaanja]: You call some oooorrrcccc to help you, and they don't even arrive!
17:06:37 You cackle maniacally at the situation.
17:06:55 Bektektwan narrows his eyes acidically.
17:07:08 Iskula steps up closer and takes a deep breath, straightening up her back. "<I am here, on the behalf of Elder Zeth'ugram.>"
17:08:05 Mopaanja turns, his face flipping as he does so from the image of insincere amusement to a subdued rage - then, as his eyes stab into the figure, it starts to melt away.
17:08:34 [Mopaanja]: ... OOH, Look. He sends a girl! So, even the orc elder laughs at you!
17:08:48 Iskula grits her teeth imperceptibly...but the slight shrink in her posture is clear anyway.
17:09:03 Bektektwan raises an eyebrow. He looks... Like the eye of a storm, perhaps. He stands with poise, but the tendons in his neck jitter.
17:09:29 [Bektektwan]: ... Quiet. Girl or no, she is here to sort out your foolishness.
17:09:36 [Mopaanja]: [Low] It all makes sense now...
17:09:55 [Mopaanja]: Very well! Hello... <Lady>.
17:10:02 Mopaanja uses common, as if to drive the stake further.
17:10:17 Mopaanja | ... And takes a few steps back so as to accommodate her into the odd little circle.
17:10:31 Iskula breathes in through her nose, and peers at the two trolls. "<...Zeth'ugram said there's trouble, but he didn't go into detail. What happened?>"
17:10:49 [Bektektwan]: ... It is I you should ask. I am Bek'tek
17:11:06 [Bektektwan]: 'twan, hunter of Shivallah.
17:11:38 [Mopaanja]: I, though, I would be Mo'paan'ja. He may rest on his laurels, but it's I who does the true work around here.
17:12:35 [Bektektwan]: ... Re-gard-less...
17:12:37 Iskula nods. She clasps her hands together, and her eyes slip down to Bek'tek'twan's toes for a moment, before she looks up at him again. "<...Alright. What happened?>"
17:12:54 Mopaanja | He has fairly calloused toes!
17:13:15 [Bektektwan]: Well, it all happened on the i-sles, before the orcs!
17:14:04 [Bektektwan]: We entertained our own spirits, all of us... But this boy, this impetuous little child, one day he laughs at my family's loa!
17:14:20 Mopaanja rears his head.
17:14:39 Iskula raises her hand toward Mo'paan'ja. "<Let him speak. I will hear what you have to say afterward.>"
17:15:01 [Mopaanja]: H--- ... Ggghhh.
17:15:06 Mopaanja narrows his eyes at her.
17:15:46 [Bektektwan]: ... Hrmph. Yes, well, he dared insult our family loa, so I dishonored him evenly, thinking the balance would be made. But no, he carries this with him, even today!
17:16:05 Iskula licks her lips and looks back toward Bek'tek'twan to listen, trying not to meet Mo'paan'ja's gaze.
17:16:24 Mopaanja snarls emphatically. His teeth slide across eachother occasionally as they grit.
17:16:58 [Bektektwan]: So, I ask you to put this to rest. Must decide whose loa is worth mockery.
17:17:42 Iskula looks to Mo'paan'ja, though she still has difficulty making eye contact, her gaze slipping away from time to time. "<...And...what do you have to say about this?>"
17:18:23 [Mopaanja]: WHAT WOULD I SAY?! ALL LIES!
17:19:10 Iskula winces, flinching back slightly at the ferocity. "<What do you think is...the truth, then?>" She sounds slightly uncertain.
17:19:23 [Mopaanja]: His tongue's as forked as the weak little spirit he prostrates himself over, girl! Listen - I once made a joke, a single joke, in good taste, to this weakling! And he takes it as an attack!
17:20:06 [Mopaanja]: And he'd call my spirit - which I put my life into its hands - a laughing matter!
17:20:23 Iskula eyes Mo'paan'ja, and raises her brow slightly. "<...What was the joke?>"
17:20:52 Bektektwan snorts quietly with great, public derision.
17:23:47 Iskula winces back again, but less so than the previous time. "<What was the joke?>" she repeats.
17:24:16 [Mopaanja]: That was the joke! He said my loa didn't even exist!
17:24:41 [Iskula]: ...The joke you told him, in good taste.
17:26:04 [Mopaanja]: I was getting to that! I told him - in a jovial voice, mind carefully, girl - that the drawings of 'it' in his home made it appear like an unwashed dog. See? NOTHING!
17:27:02 Iskula raises her brow. "'It?'" She glances between both the trolls, as though expecting one or the other to elaborate.
17:28:02 [Bektektwan]: My loa is serious. It is the spirit of the monkeys of the jungles of the isles.
17:28:22 Bektektwan has been, and remains after his piece, fairly quiet.
17:28:39 [Mopaanja]: T'saa - yeah, yeah.
17:29:03 Iskula nods. "<Ahhh. I see.>" She looks back to Mo'paan'ja. "<You...may have intended it as a joke, but...can you see how it might offend him?>"
17:29:23 [Mopaanja]: Not at all! Is a simple misunderstanding! He is a child!
17:29:52 [Iskula]: What if he called your loa the same?
17:30:13 [Mopaanja]: He already did! He said even worse, girl - weren't you listening?!
17:32:03 Iskula shrinks a little. "<S...sorry.>" She peers down at the ground, then clears her through softly and stands up again. She holds her arms protectively in front of her abdomen, seemingly unconsciously. "<What is your loa?>"
17:32:48 [Mopaanja]: He is the manifestation of the white froth you see after strong waves!
17:33:00 Bektektwan snickers quietly, though would seemingly try to hold it back.
17:35:37 Iskula nods slowly. "<It's a good loa, I think.>"
17:35:53 Bektektwan raises an eyebrow very gently.
17:36:03 [Mopaanja]: T'haa! See! SEE!
17:36:37 [Iskula]: So...as you wouldn't want your loa insulted, do you think maybe other people would also want people to respect their loa?
17:37:12 [Mopaanja]: Not if they decide they will attack the very foundation of my beliefs!
17:37:27 [Bektektwan]: ... You fool.
17:37:39 [Iskula]: He...didn't do so until after the perceived disrespect. You realize...this...right?
17:37:51 [Mopaanja]: Dah - what?
17:38:08 [Mopaanja]: Phah! May-be! May~be! How does that change anything!
17:38:29 [Iskula]: Do you think...maybe he did it because you disrespected him? Has that occurred to you?
17:38:52 [Mopaanja]: Of course it has! I still do not recognise such petty reasons!
17:40:03 [Iskula]: ...If everyone thought like that...then no one would respect anything. You can't -really- expect people to take your loa seriously when you don't do the same for them.
17:40:17 Mopaanja furrows his brow with hostility.
17:40:35 [Mopaanja]: And what of my dishonor, huh?!
17:41:03 [Iskula]: If he...forgave you, would you forgive him?
17:41:32 Mopaanja furrows his brow even further. "As if he would! Lookit him! Recalcitrant, hateful!"
17:42:23 Iskula peers to Bek'tek'twan and raises her brow, almost pleadingly.
17:42:49 [Bektektwan]: I would, if the child drops his petulance accordingly.
17:43:01 Mopaanja grits his teeth again.
17:44:12 Iskula licks her lips again and chews on her lip. "<If neither of you want to apologize first...then you're just going to go on forever and it'll never stop. One of you has to do it first.>"
17:44:56 Mopaanja is silent, looking down with furious pensivity.
17:45:11 Bektektwan is just staring at Iskul'aka - or through her.
17:46:35 [Iskula]: ...If you want to choose to keep up this feud...then I can't help you. I can't make either of you do it.
17:46:50 [Bektektwan]: ...
17:46:51 [Mopaanja]: ...
17:47:16 Iskula shrinks a little, anticipating rage.
17:47:33 [Bektektwan]: ... Your loa is not made up, Mo'paan'ja.
17:47:47 Mopaanja jumps, as if preparing for an acidic rebuke, but then frowns.
17:48:10 [Mopaanja]: ... What, are you trying to trick me? Hrm?
17:49:08 [Bektektwan]: ... No. This is what I've been trying to say, boy. Gone on long enough.
17:50:07 Mopaanja sucks air in violently. "... Fine. You force me into this, you know. Maybe your loa doesn't look so bad, after all.
17:51:28 Iskula looks up. "...Is it...settled, then? Will you both stop your bickering?"
17:52:11 [Mopaanja]: ... Yeah, yeah. I suppose so. If he keeps to his word, that is!
17:52:41 [Iskula]: ...Maybe you both should swear an oath.
17:53:22 [Mopaanja]: ... Phah, is an orc thing. No need to humiliate me further than you have already, girl.
17:53:57 Iskula bites her lip. "Okay..." She averts her eyes.
17:54:19 [Iskula]: ...We'll call it...settled, then...
17:54:37 Mopaanja | Bek'tek'twan would nod. "<No need for that. We have enough decency to keep to our word. ... Yes. Settled. About time.>"
17:55:13 Mopaanja | "<Send my regards to the elder. As ... Unorthodox a choice you were to send, you seem to have done the job. Ha.>"
17:55:25 Iskula nods. "<Good...if you need more help, ask Zeth'ugram...he can always send me here again."
17:56:16 [Mopaanja]: It better not come to that... For all our sakes.
17:56:58 [Iskula]: I hope not too...
17:57:12 [Iskula]: Spirits be with you both.
17:57:17 Iskula bows down graciously.
17:57:48 [Mopaanja]: ... Sure. Spirits, girl.
17:58:05 Mopaanja speaks it with little respect, though at least it's not harsh or hostile.
17:58:22 Mopaanja | Bek'tek'twan gives a slow, long nod.
17:58:51 Iskula turns around and starts to walk off...though she doesn't make it far before she morphs back into a wolf. She doesn't even break in her stride, though, padding along on her paws.
18:00:11 [Mopaanja]: [Low] For my worst uncle, you might not be so bad. Ha-ha! Ahh...

Stay tuned for new events for most everyone!

Had a nice RP! A flock of goblins showed up. They really do make a mess.

Ro'gosh has been given his first event, excluding his lecture! Events for Iskul'aka, Madugo, will be cropping up shortly along with it.

Spoiler:
Logging started on 01/09/2015 at 13:47:57.
13:55:58 [Ugram]: ... There you are.
13:56:13 Urr taps the backside of his hand against doorframe, apparently he was already seen. "May I enter, elder?"
13:56:43 [Ugram]: You may. I wanted to speak with you.
13:57:13 [Urr]: About?
13:57:53 [Ugram]: Had you seen our other blacksmith? Harnod?
13:58:49 [Urr]: No.
13:59:29 [Ugram]: Mm. He's a tauren. Has some interesting skills with unique materials. I want you to work with him.
14:00:08 Urr nods.
14:00:55 [Ugram]: Since last I'd heard - about a week past - he was traveling to Razor Hill by foot. You ought to catch him if you borrow a worg, once you've cleared all your business here.
14:01:46 Urr nods.
14:02:30 [Ugram]: Good. When you find him, talk with him as to making something - useful, but what it is doesn't matter to me.
14:02:36 Ugram grunts.
14:02:42 [Urr]: Probally for the blademaster.
14:03:03 [Ugram]: ... Good idea. That may be a challenge, considering how discering they often are, but I entrust it with you.
14:03:24 Ugram lights up a little at the suggestion. Well, for Zeth, that means moreso that his wrinkles are parted slightly along his forehead.
14:05:41 [Urr]: If you trust Harnod and you trust me then I'm sure we can work something out. You said he had metal of interest, yes?
14:06:31 [Ugram]: He has obsidian shards. They are limited, though, so I assume he will have the last say with how they are used. Obviously, speaking on even terms will be necessary here.
14:06:52 Takoda makes his way up the stairs, he looks over Urr. Takoda is slummped over, the bags under his eyes are heavier than usual.
14:07:07 [Ugram]: Greetings.
14:07:23 [Urr]: Of course, but does he know how to use them-
14:08:05 [Ugram]: - Yes, he has mentioned fashioning with them before. It has a connection to his family, if my memory is a keen servant.
14:09:03 [Urr]: I do not doubt his skills, but I profess I think I might have more skill in forging and forming the blade. It is one of the things you think of when you say 'Blackrock'.
14:10:13 [Ugram]: Of course. But before that, while you may know better of blades, he likely knows the melting point - if there is a thing - of obsidian, and how it is to be ... Optimally fashioned.
14:12:15 [Urr]: Obsidian is a rare material, as is gold. I do not know the strength of obsidian... But I'll have to return some places to get materials of my own before anything happens.
14:12:50 [Ugram]: Mm. Well, I can lend you a worg, have you none.
14:13:28 [Urr]: I tend to travel by foot, if that is fine with you. I only take to worg of sky if time is of the essence.
14:14:01 [Ugram]: Heh. Very well. You've still the youth to do so, I forget.
14:14:14 Ugram calls, practically over Urr's shoulder. "You may enter, Takoda!"
14:15:15 Takoda watches this new orc for a little while longer before being content with his surveying. He slumps his way to a corner. "Who is this?" He nods to Urr.
14:15:47 [Ugram]: Our blacksmith, Urr Rockfist.
14:16:01 Urr overlooks Takoda, raising his brow, fist tapping against own chest with a grin. "Throm'ka, I am Urr Rockfist, Blackrock and Blacksmith. As the Elder has just said."
14:16:33 Ugram nods contentedly.
14:18:34 Takoda nods slowly. "I have not seen you around. I am Takoda. Alchemist and hopefully something with the spirits soon." Takoda slurs his words a bit but he's understandable.
14:18:48 [Ugram]: ... Mm. Yes. Speaking of spirits, the kodo---?
14:19:34 Takoda looks outside to where the Kodo was. "I do not think they blink."
14:19:50 [Ugram]: ... They must, some time, surely.
14:19:58 Ugram frowns. He may not have considered such a thing.
14:20:48 Urr rolled his shoulders into a shrug, reaching down for a pouch on his belt and pulling out some beef jerky. "Either of you want any?"
14:21:08 [Ugram]: ... I suppose.
14:21:24 Takoda rubs one eye, "It felt like it never did." Takoda sighs with a tone of stress in his breath, "I just hope it actually decides to drink eventually."
14:22:06 Takoda shakes his head, "It is a nice offer but I am going to decline."
14:22:55 Urr turns with the hand of beef extended to Ugram, allowing him to take at his leisure.
14:23:28 Ugram does so! He grabs it firmly and returns his arm to his side, for now.
14:23:52 Urr turns back to face Takoda, eating some of the food.
14:24:52 Ugram chomps it. Chomp! Old teeth still work.
14:25:28 [Urr]: So you are an alchemist, you make potions?
14:26:14 Takoda nods, "Potions, elixers, concoctions, if you are in need of something, I can try my best to make it work."
14:26:34 [Ugram]: He is skilled.
14:26:48 Geoni acts lost as he walks through this specific valley, but he knows where he is. His eyes on a particular building for the entire time he stepped foot there.
14:27:12 [Urr]: I can't say I'll be in need of anything, but thank you. If you ever need a weapon, let me know.
14:27:52 [Ugram]: Alchemy can be used in a smithing context. Oils, things to temper...
14:27:53 Geoni walks up the steps and leans against the doorway, eying everyone inside but his eyes pausing on Zeth'ugram, "Thought I'd stop by."
14:28:02 [Ugram]: ... Even ---...
14:28:22 [Ugram]: ... Geoni. Hello.
14:28:25 Takoda laughs dryly, "I am not really one for combat but If I pick it up I will be sure to commission you Rockfist." He nods slowly as a pseudo respect bow.
14:29:16 [Geoni]: I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I was just walking through here and thought to stop in. I have free time from work, and the kid is with his babysitter.
14:30:01 [Ugram]: ... Turning Mogu'leth over to another? The procession of the boy's caretakers seems to be a limitless chain, goblin.
14:30:04 [Urr]: I suppose that is true, oils can be made for temperment, things to harden the blade or help refine the edge.
14:30:21 [Geoni]: It takes a town.
14:31:14 [Geoni]: You would like this guy if you met him...well...maybe.
14:32:01 [Geoni]: Either way, I thought I'd offer to help with whatever it is you're up to. And you're up to something.
14:32:24 Takoda chuckles behind a closed mouth at the thought of Zeth "liking" anyone.
14:32:25 [Ugram]: ... Those words seem alien to yourself. Hrmph. 'Up to something' is...
14:32:38 Ugram eyes suspiciously at these words!
14:32:46 [Geoni]: Huh?
14:33:20 Geoni tilts his head, "Oh, I guess you think that means trouble or something. No, I just mean busy. With one project or another."
14:33:44 [Ugram]: ... Then you'd be right.
14:34:07 Jinks hopped up the stairs next to Geoni, holding a tray of assorted goods on her left hand, clicking tongue against roof of her mouth. Offering a finger gun towards Zeth before speaking, "Sup, toots?"
14:34:19 [Urr]: Toots?
14:34:27 Urr moves out of Ugram's line of sight.
14:34:29 [Ugram]: ... Jinks. Hello.
14:34:40 Ugram doesn't look massively impressed, just at the moment.
14:34:48 Geoni looks to his left a little, and then towards Zeth'ugram. He says nothing.
14:35:01 Takoda snort laughs, "Toots." He tiredly mimics the new goblin's gesture.
14:35:09 Jinks thinks he never looks impressed. "You got a gatherin' or somefin'? Hopefully I didn't interrupt it or something."
14:35:46 [Ugram]: Nothing of pressing importance. You may enter.
14:35:51 Urr lightly nudges Takoda, looking down to him. "[Low] What is a toots?"
14:36:05 [Ugram]: That extends to you, Geoni.
14:36:32 [Jinks]: I brought some food, mostly for myself, but y'all are free to have any yourselves.
14:36:46 [Rogosh]: Mok'ra, Zeth'ugram.
14:36:50 Geoni scans the room before entering, and decides to sit in the center, near the fire.
14:36:57 [Ugram]: Greetings, Ro'gosh.
14:37:16 Rogosh lowers his head in a simple bow. "May I enter?"
14:37:19 Ugram raises an eyebrow at Geoni taking the place of honor!
14:37:22 [Ugram]: ... Of course.
14:37:36 Jinks places the tray of meats, bread, and an assortment of cheeses onto a chest by her left. "Yum."
14:37:45 Takoda shrugs, "It sounded odd to me. I have no idea Rockfist. [Low]"
14:37:57 [Geoni]: Important? Unimportant? So what is going on?
14:38:11 [Urr]: A gathering of coincidence.
14:38:22 Ugram eyes the foot platter. Where did it come from? Where will it go?
14:38:41 Jinks ' food platter came from her, and it's currently going into her stomach.
14:39:30 [Ugram]: We are simply speaking of roles. Urr is our blacksmith, and is to help create something. Takoda is an alchemist, and is to placate a kodo. We are not saving the world - perhaps by some degree.
14:40:11 [Takoda]: Speaking of which, if any of you are able to move a Kodo, help would be appreciated.
14:40:11 [Takoda]: Speaking of which, if any of you are able to move a Kodo, help would be appreciated.
14:40:32 Takoda turns his head slowly and stares daggers at the stinkin' Kodo.
14:40:42 [Jinks]: Jus' grab some explosives, shove it where the sun don't shine, boom! Moved Kodo.
14:40:43 Ugram does not look at the stinkin' kodo. Leave it alone.
14:40:52 Dyma whistles as w- walks.
14:40:57 [Rogosh]: I could prod it into moving, perhaps.
14:41:01 [Geoni]: I'd rather not say how I'd play a part seeing as how I'm a gunsmith.
14:41:11 [Ugram]: At this point, getting it agitated may be -good-.
14:41:26 [Jinks]: Or y'know, you could offer it food. Perhaps it's sick.
14:41:47 [Ugram]: I feed it.
14:41:53 [Rogosh]: food has been tried and tried again at this point.
14:42:23 [Takoda]: It is just difficult.
14:42:25 Dyma peers into the doorway, looking for any signs of...anything.
14:42:28 [Jinks]: Food is only a portion of the remedy, you got an alchemist among your ranks.. Right? Get a witchdoctor, see iffin' anything wrong, at the end of the day, you might have a tamed Kodo to ride.
14:42:42 Ugram | There are signs of many things within!
14:42:52 [Jinks]: Plus I can't imagine leaving it to bake in the sun ain't doing it any good.
14:42:53 [Geoni]: So you've got a fussy kodo on your hands?
14:42:56 [Takoda]: His alchemist -is- looking at it.
14:42:59 [Urr]: Yes.
14:43:21 [Jinks]: And what've you deduced, that it smells, cause that thing did kindof smell.
14:43:26 Jinks blinks at Takoda.
14:43:29 [Ugram]: ... The sun is hardly a problem, its hide blocks all of that. And, yes, we have been doing as you ... Kindly suggest.
14:43:52 Dyma raises a finger "Uhh...how ya doin? Good? Good. This ain't an inn, is it? And where's the closest watering hole if it ain't?"
14:44:18 [Urr]: There's a watering hole to the side, some tauren repaired it a while back.
14:44:22 Geoni looks to the floor, "Well I feel utterly useless at the moment, I do-" He pauses at the sound of an echoing voice, and looks behind himself out of the corner of his eye.
14:44:40 [Ugram]: The nearest inn that... A goblin would consider 'an inn' is in the Valley of Strength, which is some walk away.
14:44:46 Ugram squints at the figure. Something ain't right about it.
14:44:53 [Ugram]: ... And, yes. Water by the side of the house.
14:45:33 Geoni looks at the figure with a twist of the neck and then returns it to a comfortable position, eying Zeth'Ugram for a moment, and then the wall.
14:45:45 [Dyma]: Yeaaah..I ain't literally mean 'water'. Just a place where they booze it up. It's like...job huntin' for me.
14:46:02 Rogosh shuffles a few steps to the side. Eeyes, beneath a lupine cowl, pass an untrusting glance over the deathly goblin before he settles down, back to the threshhold.
14:46:18 [Ugram]: ... Uh-huh... Yes, then. Valley of Honor. You wouldn't ... appreciate the taverns in this valley.
14:46:33 Jinks reached to the platter of food to her left, finishing the construction of a sandwhich and began to take bites from it.
14:47:30 [Dyma]: Oh? Buncha squares in these parts or somethin? Sometimes a boring guy can lead an interesting life, and like things done...quietly. Ya know?
14:47:57 [Jinks]: Nah, they ain't squares, just comfortable with what they have.
14:47:59 Ugram squints almost as if her speech sapped the strength out of him.
14:48:09 [Ugram]: ... As Jinks said.
14:48:24 Dyma peers around the corner
14:48:27 Geoni seems mystified. He continues to stare at the wall behind Zeth'ugram.
14:48:43 Jinks offered a wave to Dyma, continuing to chew on her sandwhich.
14:48:58 Takoda looks over Dyma. "You smell like my old mentor, he was a Forsaken." He gives one hard sniff in Dyma's direction.
14:49:14 Ugram raises an eyebrow sharply at Takoda.
14:49:20 [Dyma]: Holy sh- uhhh, yeah, you got Gobbos here. So what you mean this ain't my kinda part of town?
14:49:38 [Ugram]: They are here by coincidence.
14:49:51 [Geoni]: [Low] Did that Tauren just say he had a Forsaken mentor?
14:50:10 [Rogosh]: This 'part of town' is generally calm and peaceful. That is what we mean when it is said that it is not your sort of place.
14:50:19 [Dyma]: Then what a coinkidink it is! You got three Goblins here. That's like...super luck!
14:50:38 [Ugram]: The spirits guide us, here, for better or worse.
14:50:53 [Dyma]: Did you know that when a Goblin moves into the neighborhood, property value -skyrockets-?
14:51:07 [Jinks]: No, cause they don't.
14:51:22 [Dyma]: Yeah, they do!
14:51:22 [Urr]: I like that one.
14:51:27 Urr points at Jinks.
14:51:31 [Geoni]: Unless they actually attatch things to rockets and shoot them into the sky. And it wouldn't surprise me.
14:51:38 [Dyma]: Goblins buy the place, and they raise the rent!
14:51:54 [Ugram]: ... ... Rghm.
14:51:54 [Geoni]: Uh...this is Orgrimmar, you know?
14:52:03 Ugram looks confused, or worried, or something in between.
14:52:18 [Dyma]: Yeah. I wasn't born yesterday, kid.
14:52:25 Takoda raises a very tired eyebrow, extreme confusion as he tries to discern the jokes from the seriousness.
14:52:35 [Jinks]: Kid? Someone's awfully high and mighty.
14:52:40 [Geoni]: Were you reborn yesterday?
14:53:16 [Ugram]: ... Reborn... ? That's oddly spiritual talk for you.
14:53:30 Ugram turns his somewhat confused look to Geoni.
14:53:32 [Geoni]: You know she's dead, right?
14:53:33 [Jinks]: She's an undeath, Z.
14:53:38 [Ugram]: . . .
14:53:41 [Ugram]: . . .
14:53:43 [Jinks]: -Undeath-, not dead.
14:53:45 Jinks nods at Geoni.
14:53:49 [Ugram]: . . . Oh.
14:53:56 [Dyma]: Well unless he's older than f- uhhh...actually ladies never tell their age, and I don't want people thinking I'm too old to bash heads.
14:53:57 Geoni closes his eyes and shakes his head, "And your ears...must be shot."
14:54:12 Ugram takes a closer look. Surely, he just thought goblins were like that naturally.
14:54:45 [Ugram]: ... Dead...?
14:54:52 [Jinks]: Undead.
14:54:53 Geoni lets out a huffed sigh, "Anyways, isn't there something unimportant we should be doing?"
14:55:02 Ugram | Were the elder's skin not this mottled shade, surely he'd be a little livid.
14:55:10 [Dyma]: I prefer the term "recently deceased".
14:55:16 Dyma flashes a winning smile.
14:55:28 [Geoni]: That's one of the knights. You don't know how one sounds?
14:55:47 [Jinks]: She ain't look like no knight, looks like another good fo-
14:55:51 Jinks continues eating her sandwhich.
14:55:58 [Ugram]: I do not walk in such circles. And I cannot allow the ... Living... Dead, within the borders of my home.
14:56:02 Dyma leans against the wall, biting her nails.
14:56:13 [Geoni]: They're not bad or anything, they just make me sad.
14:56:53 [Dyma]: ...oh. I get it. I'm just cannon fodder, even if I fought for the Horde while I was still alive.
14:57:28 [Dyma]: I'll take my unwanted pretty ass elsewhere.
14:57:45 [Rogosh]: [Muttered] Pretty gross, perhaps.
14:57:46 [Ugram]: ... No. I simply have my views.
14:57:50 [Jinks]: Bye, toots.
14:57:55 Madugo is just.... outside, yeah. Doing whatever.
14:58:11 Ugram | A child would stare at Madugo from behind a crate.
14:58:18 [Geoni]: They're getting fuzzy, if it weren't for us you wouldn't have been able to tell!
14:58:28 [Ugram]: Hrm?
14:58:49 [Dyma]: Yeah yeah, but then I'd be "within the borders of your home".
14:58:58 Dyma does indeed do the air quotes.
14:59:09 [Ugram]: That is the border. You may be there.
14:59:28 [Geoni]: Don't you claim to own this valley?
14:59:36 Madugo does not notice the child.... just yet. He seems preoccupied.
14:59:40 [Ugram]: . . . What?
14:59:47 Takoda looks at Dyma then to Zeth then back.
14:59:54 [Dyma]: Nah. I ain't no pet you keep outside. You kids have a good one.
15:00:20 Dyma peers at Madugo searchingly.
15:00:25 [Dyma]: Yo.
15:00:27 [Ugram]: ... Very well. And, Geoni, I 'own' nothing, here. I simply assume deference.
15:00:29 Madugo blinks at Dyma.
15:00:45 [Madugo]: 'Ey gurl! S'a wild hat you got on yo head there.
15:00:55 [Geoni]: I don't understand the difference? You're owning the space in a sense.
15:01:00 Ugram blinks a couple of times. He knows that voice.
15:01:10 [Ugram]: No.
15:01:27 Madugo 's eyes become fixated... on the size of Dyma's chest. Yowza.
15:01:28 Dyma tips said hat "Why thanks! Glad to see someone here appreciates good fashion. And company."
15:01:34 [Geoni]: Authority stands on ownership.
15:01:37 [Jinks]: If anyone wants somethin' to eat, just come over and make yourself something.
15:01:39 [Ugram]: 'Ownership' is a goblin method.
15:01:49 [Jinks]: Hey!
15:01:52 Jinks peers at you searchingly.
15:01:57 [Ugram]: Hrm? What?
15:01:58 [Geoni]: Own is an old word, bub.
15:02:00 [Madugo]: Was chu hangin' wit ol' Zethmon in there jus' now?
15:02:29 [Dyma]: More like being put out like a cat. You know the old geezer?
15:02:32 [Ugram]: There, still, is nothing that I would 'own' outside of this valley.
15:02:49 Geoni claps his hands once and laughs, "So you do own the valley!"
15:02:58 [Madugo]: Mmmhm, he give chu a hard time 'bout so'tin'?
15:03:48 Jinks peers at you searchingly.
15:03:58 Ugram returns the peer neutrally.
15:04:28 [Dyma]: Yeah. About the part where my eyes glow for the rest of eternity. And that I'm dead.
15:05:05 Jinks peers harder.
15:05:20 [Urr]: Well, I suppose I am off to catch up with Harnod.
15:05:26 [Madugo]: Ahhh. Well dun takes it too personal, ya dig? 'E jus' be real old fashion sorta orc an' all. Chu gotta undastand dey's look on death an' passin', gurl.
15:05:32 [Rogosh]: Travel well.
15:05:34 Ugram is very good at peering at people. For example, he peers to the escaping Urr.
15:05:37 [Ugram]: ... Right.
15:05:58 [Ugram]: Hrm.
15:06:13 Takoda looks to where Urr sat a second ago, He smirks to himself and grunts.
15:06:46 [Ugram]: ... But, yes. I do not 'own' this valley. I am not even the only elder here.
15:06:56 Dyma shrugs "It really grinds my gears. And I ain't gettin' more patient in death. Sometimes it's better to walk away before ya wring someone's neck."
15:06:59 Geoni rubs his arms, "[Low] Why do I feel cold in Durotar?"
15:07:15 [Jinks]: So?
15:07:18 [Madugo]: .... yeeeeeeaaah, dat prob'ly be da best in dat case.
15:07:46 Geoni stops rubbing his arms and eyes Zeth'ugram with raised brows, "Well I'd mention how you acted in the past, but the past is the past."
15:07:48 Ugram | The child would run off down the road after breaking from his cover.
15:08:08 [Dyma]: So, you a friend of geezer's?
15:08:09 [Ugram]: ... Hrm? You feel you've found something contradictory.
15:08:12 Madugo glances aside at the sudden child running down the street.
15:08:30 Ugram | The child quickly becomes too little to discern. It's just an orc!
15:08:32 Geoni stifles a sneeze, "Uh? Did I now?"
15:09:16 [Madugo]: ... Mmm. Hm? Ah, ya, I am a frienda his, ya. He be da eldah of de Earthworks an' I'mma parta dat an' all.
15:09:22 [Ugram]: What else, then? You feel how I acted in the past conflicts with what I'm saying now. I feel you've just got the wrong idea on how I worded myself.
15:10:05 Geoni rubs his nose and then points a finger in the air, "Wording, that's all it is!"
15:10:05 Geoni rubs his nose and then points a finger in the air, "Wording, that's all it is!"
15:10:08 [Dyma]: ...the heck is an Earthworks? Is that one of them treehuggin outfits?
15:10:20 Geoni definitely knows that ain't all it is.
15:10:30 [Ugram]: Are you well, Geoni?
15:10:53 [Madugo]: Nah, we dun hug trees. Do we look like elves ta you?
15:10:54 Madugo laughs.
15:11:06 [Geoni]: Whenever I see them I have this...reaction. It's something psychological I don't know.
15:11:32 Ugram raises an eyebrow silently.
15:11:59 Geoni waves a hand in the air, "Forget about it, it's nothing. It'll pass."
15:12:12 Dyma snickers "Definitely not. Unless you cut off your tusks. Maybe didn't crouch so much. Grew some more fingers and toes. Then still probably not."
15:12:25 [Ugram]: Well, then. Jinks, what brings you here - and equipped with food?
15:12:39 [Madugo]: I be bettah lookin' than a elf anyway.
15:12:50 Madugo brushes back his sick mohawk with a hand.
15:12:59 Ugram | ~wicked sick~
15:13:43 Dyma smirks "I'd agree. What's your name, handsome?"
15:14:04 [Madugo]: Madugo! Wadda 'bout chu, eh?
15:14:18 [Jinks]: Conversation, and cause 'm hungry.
15:14:29 [Ugram]: Well, I appreciate the sentiment of the visit.
15:14:51 Geoni rubs his stomach, "There's food in the room and I'm not after it. Huh."
15:15:13 [Ugram]: ... Feel free. And, I ought to enquire after Mogu'leth.
15:15:23 [Dyma]: Dyma Facebuster! But you can call me Dynamite! Just because I'm dead, doesn't mean a girl ain't keep up with her hobbies.
15:15:44 [Jinks]: Come and grab some if y' want, toots.
15:15:47 Jinks nods at Geoni.
15:15:50 Takoda looks over to Rogosh, "I have seen you around here a couple times, I assume you are working with Elder Mok-gol'rand as well?"
15:15:56 [Madugo]: Chu a demogal? Sapper? Whatevah?
15:15:59 [Geoni]: No what I'm saying is I'm not hungry...
15:16:12 Ugram nods.
15:16:19 Geoni looks to Zeth'ugram, "Go ahead."
15:16:25 [Dyma]: That's right! I blow shit up and I love it! I saw you admiring my work before.
15:16:32 [Jinks]: H'okay.
15:16:33 Dyma points at her chest.
15:16:44 [Madugo]: Chu did? But I nevah seen chu-
15:16:44 [Ugram]: How is he?
15:16:51 Madugo "Ohs" flatly.
15:16:59 Rogosh nods to his taller compatriot. "That I am. I've signed my name in stone. Quite literally to that." A paw of a hand comes up, pulling the Blademaster's mask away. "Ro'gosh of the Pale Flame. And you are?"
15:17:13 Dyma smirks "Wanna touch em?"
15:17:38 [Madugo]: ............... what.
15:17:43 Geoni seems a little less sick once the subject pops up, "Well he's getting really strong. And now he's finally taller than me. Which he brings up every hour."
15:18:09 [Ugram]: ... Hrm. Good! Have you been teaching him things he ought to know?
15:18:29 [Dyma]: Touch em! I make em myself! Proud of how they came out!
15:18:37 [Jinks]: Welp, m' gonna leave the food here. Gotta skip.
15:18:48 [Geoni]: Yep, and if there's something I don't know, his babysitter would. And my Orc friends.
15:18:53 [Ugram]: . . . Everyone is so sudden leaving.
15:18:59 [Geoni]: 'S what I meant about 'it takes a village'.
15:19:03 [Ugram]: And, good.
15:19:12 Madugo 's expression is utterly confused. "Made... what? Is this a trick question??"
15:19:13 [Geoni]: Or is it town? I don't remember how the saying goes.
15:19:19 Madugo tilts his head on its side.
15:19:21 Takoda nods slowly as a sort of sitting bow. "Takoda Skychaser, I do most of the alchemy for the Earthworks."
15:19:28 Ugram eyes him. He looks less suspicious, but not unentirely.
15:19:31 [Dyma]: Does this look like a face that would lie to you?
15:19:39 [Madugo]: ............
15:19:44 [Madugo]: Dat is also a trick question.
15:19:56 [Geoni]: Oh and he's learning how to write now.
15:19:56 [Dyma]: Fine, your loss.
15:20:02 Dyma shrugs. Who knows?
15:20:05 [Ugram]: ... What script?
15:20:26 [Madugo]: How do chu "make" bazongas? Dat's what confusin' me.
15:20:37 [Geoni]: I told him Common first, but he's eager to be bilingual already.
15:20:58 [Ugram]: ... Common Orcish?
15:20:58 [Geoni]: His babysitter is old...so he's interested in the old tongue.
15:21:28 [Geoni]: Common and old. It's kind of a mish mash anyways.
15:21:48 [Dyma]: A knife, some round metal globes, and some wire stiches. I was already dead, so no need for anything to put me out. Then again, if I was out, I couldn't have done it.
15:21:49 Ugram doesn't seem to be totally understanding.
15:22:10 [Ugram]: Warsong, Bleeding Hollow, Shattered Hand, Shadowmoon - Frostwolf, perhaps?
15:22:19 [Madugo]: .... don't dat make 'em hard and stiff tho?
15:22:55 [Geoni]: Bleeding Hollow.
15:23:02 [Ugram]: ... A good choice.
15:23:12 [Dyma]: I'm dead. Hard and stiff is pretty much par for the course. Plus, they double as explosives. So they kinda need to not break unless I want them to.
15:23:19 [Geoni]: ...not really a choice. That's his babysitter's heritage.
15:23:30 [Madugo]: ... chu ta-tas be BOMBS?
15:23:48 [Geoni]: It just kinda...happened? It's nice to brag about though, he's picking it up intuitively is what I'm saying. On his own.
15:24:23 [Dyma]: That's right, pal!
15:24:30 [Ugram]: ... Ah, true. Well. I am proud of the boy, then. Bleeding Hollow is a good script to learn, though its applications are lesser these days practically.
15:25:00 [Madugo]: But why?? Dey blow up an dat's a waste ofa perfectly good rack.
15:25:04 [Geoni]: It's challenging you to think a different way. That's what the purpose of schooling is, anyways. I agree with it.
15:25:11 Takoda nods slowly as a sort of sitting bow. "Takoda Skychaser, I do most of the alchemy for the Earthworks."
15:25:23 [Geoni]: People wave it off as pretentious and whatnot, but it makes a lot of sense.
15:26:10 [Dyma]: Kinda a last resort. I'd like to live a good while if I can. But if someone wants to make that time crappy, I'd rather take them and any other of their friends with me.
15:26:18 [Ugram]: The Bonechewers' runes are... Heh. They are not easy. They are rare - I remember... Ah, unimportant, but they lose the jaggedness of their sibling tongues.
15:26:43 [Madugo]: But chu a Death Knight. Would dat even kill chu? Couldn't they jus' put chu back togetha?
15:27:03 Geoni smiles a little, "Well he has no arthritis in his hands so it's easy for him."
15:27:05 [Rogosh]: Ah, you are the Alchemist I hear so much of. I do not do much as of yet... I spoke, once, though as it stands I'm merely awaiting an opportunity to make myself useful.
15:27:30 [Dyma]: Anyone with the patience to put ash back into a person can have me.
15:27:36 [Takoda]: And what is it that you do Ro'gosh?
15:27:40 [Ugram]: ... Hah. Hhah. Yes. It takes a particular child to pick up such ... Winding symbols. I'd like to see his work.
15:28:06 [Madugo]: I think chu be less ash an' mo'so body parts. But pft, whatdo I know about dead tings.
15:28:07 Madugo shrugs at Dyma. Who knows?
15:28:34 [Geoni]: He writes on...everything.
15:28:40 [Ugram]: ... Ha!
15:28:49 [Geoni]: Smart doesn't always mean well behaved.
15:29:09 Dyma chuckles "You gave up a chance to touch em. What you need is more adventure in your life!"
15:29:20 [Ugram]: Ah... When I was that age, I only had the endless surface of - mud and soil.
15:29:31 [Ugram]: Ought to show him that. It does wonders.
15:29:52 Goresh glances at Madugo, then Dyma, before shrugging and walking over to the tree located near the pair.
15:29:58 [Rogosh]: So far? Talk. Though I've offered myself as capable with carving and moving stone. Atop of my more obvious traits as a Blademaster.
15:30:09 [Madugo]: I dun wanna touch hard cold titties! Chu should take dem bombs out an' replace 'em wit skins of water o' jelly instead.
15:30:09 [Geoni]: He's still a little scared of you, but I ought to bring him by.
15:30:38 [Ugram]: ... Aaahhh, fear is just as good a motivator if anything. And he'll have to get over it at some point - elders will play a large part of his life as he becomes self-sufficient.
15:31:04 Goresh rubs the tree, particularly a massive hole in it. He grins and smacks a fist into it before turning to face the pair, apparently deciding on whime to listen in.
15:31:04 Ugram does look just a little bit disappointed. His features betray it, but if Geoni had less knowledge of said orcish expressions, he'd miss it.
15:31:17 [Dyma]: Ha! Jelly. I make bombs, not toast! ...well...I turn things into toast...when I blow things up...right.
15:31:51 [Geoni]: It runs more personal than that - ain't got nothin to do with your position. Just what you were doing with it.
15:32:02 [Ugram]: ... Hrm?
15:32:06 [Madugo]: Not food jelly! Like... ermmm... goo.
15:32:23 Geoni shakes his head, "Sometimes I feel like he's an adult. He's very perceptive."
15:32:26 [Madugo]: Squishy breasts da best. Dem's what I'd like ta touch.
15:33:27 [Dyma]: Eh, my skin ain't exactly the right kinda soft for that. You ever grab a pig's skin when it's dry?
15:33:49 [Madugo]: ... right. Dead. Skipped my mind.
15:33:54 Madugo seems dissapointed.
15:34:11 [Ugram]: Perceptive?
15:34:29 Ugram would just look the slightest bit anxious. Just across his brow.
15:34:32 [Takoda]: Ah, more help with anything we decide to is a nice thing to have. A blademaster would have been nice to have on our long trek, the rest of us lack in the fighting department severly.
15:34:55 [Geoni]: He understands not just the situation, but what the situation means. I know that's vague, but it's how he is.
15:35:20 [Ugram]: ... That is impressive. But - what would he see in me?
15:35:20 [Geoni]: It's something you don't learn until you're older, which is what surprises me. But I notice this about other kids too...
15:35:21 [Dyma]: Heh, at least you seem ready to forget it. Moreso than your buddy. Anywho, you probably came to see him, and I need to find a fight and let off some steam.
15:35:28 [Rogosh]: Mmh. Perhaps I should make a point to change that.
15:35:44 [Geoni]: You're not going to want to hear this.
15:35:54 Ugram raises an eyebrow at Geoni. He has gone from aloofly listening to quite attentive.
15:36:00 Goresh glances at Dyma. "... Did I perhaps mishear you wanting to find a fight?" He grins a happy grin.
15:36:00 [Madugo]: Dun blow yer tits up doin' so.
15:36:01 Madugo laughs.
15:36:13 Geoni looks up and smiles, "Of course I shouldn't have said that."
15:36:23 [Ugram]: I have heard much, and refuse to shrink from what a child believes of me.
15:37:13 Dyma chuckles "Nah, I'll keep em on ice for now. See ya later, Mad."
15:37:27 [Geoni]: He actually said to me, 'he thinks what he's doin is right for me, but he's not right!'
15:37:54 [Madugo]: Buhbye.
15:38:14 Goresh blinks as he's ignored but chuckles, grin never leaving his face.
15:38:19 Dyma tips her hat, and to the nearby Orc as well.
15:38:21 Takoda chuckles behind a closed mouth. "Good luck with that. I imagine it would be a complete mess, at least at first." Takoda shakes his head. "I imagine it would be enjoyable however."
15:38:34 [Geoni]: Of course, he'd listen to me over you when it comes to what's 'right', but in the end we both are.
15:38:41 [Ugram]: ... He did? Well... Hrmph. He may be right, but just as equally he may be siding with what he's used to rather than what's best for him, out of personal security.
15:38:47 Ugram sucks in a deep breath.
15:38:51 [Madugo]: I tink she be using da word "fight" as a polite way o' sayin "beat da crap outa someone hopeless. Like a pig."
15:39:20 Geoni rubs his fingers through his hair, "Man, it's weird to talk about a kid like this. Watching them grow up is scary."
15:39:25 [Goresh]: Ah, I gotcha. Just joined the conversation a bit late, and was intrigued by the possibility of combat.
15:39:30 [Ugram]: ... I imagine it is.
15:39:40 [Rogosh]: I've already caught the eyes of the youth about this Valley. Not to mention one warrior of already compemorable status showed interest.
15:39:43 [Geoni]: It still is sometimes, is it not?
15:39:56 [Ugram]: It -is- something I must do often, though, goblin. Heh.
15:40:06 Ugram peers to Ro'oghs. He nods.
15:40:11 [Madugo]: Chu a wrassler?
15:40:42 Goresh grins. "Boxer, mainly. I dabble though. No point restricting myself to a single way to fight, I figure."
15:41:20 [Madugo]: Seem ta be a lotta folk gather up inside Zethmon's house. Mebe chu see if someone in there wanna spar witcha?
15:41:47 [Rogosh]: A mess, no doubt, but as is the beginning of every militia. I've already tempted the youths. Not to mention an older warrior approached with interest to the ways.
15:41:55 [Ugram]: Hrm? Who would that be?
15:41:57 Goresh blinks. "I dunno who Zethmon is, and I figure it'd be rude to just burst in, uninvited, and demand a fight." He chuckles. "Be amusin' though."
15:42:27 [Madugo]: Well 'eyyy, I ain't much a fighta myself. I mean I be alright wit de axes but I dun box too good.
15:42:51 [Takoda]: ...You plan on starting a militia?
15:43:26 [Rogosh]: Not one full-fledged, no, but this valley should have some protectors in it's midst.

15:42:27 [Madugo]: Well 'eyyy, I ain't much a fighta myself. I mean I be alright wit de axes but I dun box too good.
15:42:51 [Takoda]: ...You plan on starting a militia?
15:43:26 [Rogosh]: Not one full-fledged, no, but this valley should have some protectors in it's midst.
15:43:32 Goresh laughs. "Nothin' wrong with that! Everybody's got there different strengths, and not everybody has t'be a fighter. I mean, if you wanna fight i'm always down, but i'd never demand it."
15:43:54 [Ugram]: ... Well, the warriors of the valley are away. As they are in many valleys.
15:44:37 Takoda rubs his head, "I suppose it is good to be safe."
15:44:39 [Rogosh]: They always are. Thus why it's good to have some at home who fight just as well.
15:44:52 [Ugram]: Right.
15:45:01 Geoni lets out a sigh, "Either way, I think Mogu'leth will come to understand and accept you soon enough, at this rate. I expect that of him."
15:45:27 [Ugram]: ... I'm glad. I will not pretend I still don't entirely trust the environment he's been brought up with, but... Hrm.
15:48:21 Madugo nods at Goresh and smiles. "Well, I need ta get goin' mon... whachu name?"
15:48:24 [Geoni]: I live here, Zeth'ugram.
15:48:25 [Madugo]: Mine be Madugo.
15:48:38 Goresh grins. "Goresh. Pleasure to make your acquiantance, if only for a short time."
15:48:40 [Ugram]: I could not be sure of that. You spoke yourself of travels.
15:48:55 [Geoni]: Not in this valley, but the city.
15:49:11 [Geoni]: You can travel and return home, you know.
15:49:19 [Madugo]: If chu lookin' fer people ta get ta know, go ahead an' bust inta dat house there. Zethmon won't mind!
15:49:20 Madugo laughs.
15:49:35 [Madugo]: Tho mebe hold back the whole "fight me" ting.
15:49:47 Goresh chuckles. "May well do that. No point in stayin' out here on my lonesome. And don't worry, i'll ask politely."
15:49:51 [Rogosh]: If nothing else having a few of us learned in arms would make travels a little less worrysome.
15:49:59 [Madugo]: Hehehe. chu has a good night, mon!
15:50:19 [Ugram]: But you leave the boy as you travel. Of course, that's the only option. Taking him would be far more irresponsible. But you understand my inference.
15:51:07 [Ugram]: ... Ah. Welcome back.
15:51:14 [Geoni]: I know when and when not to take him somewhere, as any parent should. But he should get out sometimes, I don't always leave him with Mahen'tosh.
15:51:15 Takoda struggles to get to his feet but makes it there eventually. "It was a pleasure to meet you Ro'gosh, I would continue talking but I have a kodo to monitor." Takoda tired slump walks back to the kodo.
15:51:23 [Geoni]: Mahen'tosh goes places with him too sometimes.
15:51:34 [Ugram]: Mm. Well, that is good... Ah. Good luck, Takoda.
15:51:35 Goresh walks up to the door and looks inside, peering about. Seeing that conversation is occuring, he leans against the doorway and waits until Zeth'ugram greets him, at which point he nods respectfully, unwilling to interrupt."
15:51:40 Ugram | The kodo raises its head.
15:51:52 [Ugram]: You may enter, runemaster.
15:52:00 Geoni pauses his conversation upon noticing somebody leave and the other wanting to enter.
15:52:19 [Geoni]: 0/
15:52:31 Ugram | The kodo looks down at the water as he approaches. He'd know it hasn't had a sip of water in days.
15:52:35 Goresh enters, smiling slightly. "Please, do not let me interrupt your conversation, Elder."
15:52:50 [Ugram]: It is fine.
15:53:05 Ugram | Its head reaches clooooooser...
15:53:08 [Geoni]: Isn't nothin' hugely important.
15:53:54 Goresh grins. "Still, it'd be rude to just bust into anothers house and demand that you're made the center of attention."
15:53:59 Takoda sits down and continues his grump stare at the kodo, "Drink you livid thing you.
15:54:04 Geoni looks up for a moment, "Not much is important here today, apparently."
15:54:31 [Ugram]: Things do not always have to be important.
15:54:57 [Geoni]: Well...what we're talking about is important, it's just not...war stuff? Business?
15:55:26 [Ugram]: Mm. Well... I do not talk about the war, either way. It is a matter outside of my vision, as an elder.
15:56:17 [Geoni]: You really think so?
15:56:26 [Ugram]: yES.
15:56:42 Goresh glances at Ro'gosh before making pointing at him, punching his fist into his hand and grinning, cocking his head as if asking a question."
15:56:46 [Geoni]: The war effects the things you do, though.
15:57:14 [Ugram]: Yes... But the war itself - that I do not speak of. I augment the war effort with this commune, but from a distance.
15:57:22 [Geoni]: And even if it's of small consequence, what you do effects the war.
15:58:33 [Ugram]: Yes, but I do not need to know of the war.
15:58:40 [Ugram]: Just the smaller elements of it.
15:58:43 Geoni pushes himself off his rearend, "Talking about the kid is making me realize I should be spending my free time with him, so I think I'll get going."
15:58:52 [Ugram]: ... Hm. Very well.
15:59:08 [Geoni]: I'll swing by with Mogu'leth one day, promise.
15:59:14 [Ugram]: I would appreciate it.
15:59:33 [Ugram]: I know there is a cultural divide, so I will make clear that I do take your words as an oath. Ha.
15:59:51 [Ugram]: ... And, Ro'gosh, I do have a task for you.
15:59:57 Ugram calls over Geoni's shoulder.
16:00:18 [Rogosh]: Ah, you do?
16:00:28 Geoni waves a hand, "Well, whenever I get the chance? That a little more honest?" He smiles, "I'll be seeing you." After saying that, he heads out.
16:00:44 [Ugram]: Expect nothing of great importance, as it will fit the rest of today's activity. --- See you.
16:01:32 [Rogosh]: I can see to it all the same.
16:03:29 [Ugram]: The grunts in this valley are untrained and haven't been to war. They ought to have some training... Less in how to wield a blade, but more in perception. But either will improve them.
16:03:57 [Rogosh]: Both, I'm sure, would do them well.
16:04:40 [Ugram]: Mm. Go whenever you have the time. They won't be hard to spot.
16:05:01 [Rogosh]: I thought as much. As it stands I will be spotting the hall. Sleep calls.
16:05:20 Ugram nods.
16:05:25 [Ugram]: Honor.
16:05:47 Rogosh dons his lupine mask. "And Strength." With that he takes his leave down the narrow steps.
16:06:08 Goresh sighs, looking mildly disappointed for a moment before his usual grin resurfaces.
16:06:16 [Ugram]: ... Hrm?
16:06:20 Ugram perceives it!
16:07:00 Goresh chuckles. "He must not've seen it, or maybe i'm not a worthy foe for a Blademaster, or maybe he was just tired. Ah, well. Guess I can't expect a good fight every time I swing by here."
16:08:14 [Ugram]: Well, he is a blademaster. You can chase him if you wish.
16:08:34 Goresh chuckles. "The real question is if I could catch him."
16:08:44 [Ugram]: The hall is very close to here.
16:09:19 Goresh shakes his head. "Nah, he said he wanted t'go to sleep. If I was to fight one of his caliber, i'd rather do it when we're both in tip-top shape."
16:09:37 [Ugram]: Mm. Very well.
16:10:08 [Goresh]: So have you been well, Elder?
16:10:30 [Ugram]: I continue to have no reason to complain.
16:11:08 [Goresh]: Good. Nothin' wrong with a calm life. Though, what were you speaking with the goblin about? If y'don't mind me asking.
16:11:55 [Ugram]: His adopted child, an orc. It is highly unorthodox and, in the past, I have thought about interrupting such an arrangement, but... Hrm.
16:12:21 [Goresh]: Have you decided against it?
16:12:43 [Ugram]: Not yet, but it shows promise. The boy has, apparently, begun writing - at a time when many ignore such things.
16:14:23 Goresh frowns. "Is it truly that uncommon? I mean, I don't write often, or well, but I made sure to at least learn how to."
16:15:15 [Ugram]: In an age where we lean on others to perform highly specific roles in this gigantic Horde, many are not needed to write, so they do not.
16:16:34 Goresh frowns, cocking his head. "But that leaves you so vulnerable, so easy to take advantage of, particularly in an age when what is written on paper means so much to certain folk."
16:17:19 [Ugram]: Mrh. I suppose the war effort helps, in some part, as writing is necessary in many parts of the war machine. But, otherwise, yes. Many ignore it.
16:17:48 Goresh sighs. "And i'd assume that many are taught that perhaps it's not important to learn such things?
16:18:40 [Ugram]: I can't be sure. Elders will always encourage orcs to read, but in larger valleys elders have lost attention in favor of warlords.
16:19:52 [Goresh]: Who, i'd presume, focus entirely on the war effort and nothin' that supports it?
16:20:23 [Ugram]: Mm. They have become... Deified figures, above all others, in many sectors of our society.
16:21:28 Goresh tsks. "I can't help but think that our society is becomin' a bit too focused on war. I'm a fighter, don't get me wrong, but battle ain't everything."
16:21:54 [Ugram]: ... Well, that is one of the tenets that the Earthworks stands by. It is, I suppose, my effort to help slow this shift in society.
16:23:16 Goresh nods. "Our culture should be preserved, and we are so much more than merely the warriors many see. I just hope more start realizin' that sooner, rather than later."
16:23:58 [Ugram]: We can not be sure, but we can force change with our own hands. That is what I attempt.
16:24:44 [Goresh]: Good. I respect that, even though my grasp of what you're doin' here is slightly limited.
16:25:28 [Ugram]: It is not a shamanic society, like many that came before it. We take members of the Horde in and give them a platform to apply their skills to the benefit of the Horde. We also teach.
16:26:29 Goresh nods. "I don't necessarily think we should try to return to what we once were. In fact, I sorta think it's impossible. But I do believe that our past should be remembered and acknowledged and learned from, not swept under the rug like yesterday's
16:26:29 Goresh garbage."
16:27:02 [Ugram]: The past is not entirely unenviable, but you are correct.
16:27:24 [Ugram]: If you have an interest in such things, I have many old slates and tales from the old days which I have translated.
16:28:12 Goresh nods. "I'm not saying the past was wrong or anythin', but I think we've transitioned so far into a new age that the old will never again be in our grasp... Oh? I'm interested, yeah. Unfortunately, it's sometimes a bit hard to learn more about what we once
16:28:12 Goresh were, particularly when one travels as often as I do."
16:29:01 [Ugram]: We are an adaptive people, and it only makes sense that we do not grasp for our past. And, well, while you are here that is good enough a time.
16:29:40 Goresh nods. "Can I offer anythin' in exchange? I don't have much coin, but I can offer that, and if you need anything move i've got the muscle for it."
16:30:01 [Ugram]: ... Offer? This is not a trade.
16:31:56 Goresh blinks. "No, I mean... If you're goin' to allow me to read the tales you've got, it seems only right that I help you out in return."
16:32:26 [Ugram]: It is what I provide for this valley. I do this work so that others may benefit from it, not myself.
16:32:36 [Ugram]: Your help would be appreciated, but not demanded.
16:33:05 Goresh nods. "I would simply feel like I was takin' advantage of your kindness if I didn't help out at all while I was around."
16:33:30 [Ugram]: It is up to you, then.
16:34:13 Goresh grins. "In that case, if you need somethin' moved, or someone punched, I can help you with that while i'm around here readin' the tablets."
16:35:22 [Ugram]: Well, things always have to be moved. Ha. The hall is hard to miss - it is on somewhat of a plateau, down the road on your left as you face the exit of my home. One of the largest buildings in this valley.
16:35:42 Goresh nods. "Are the tablets just located within?"
16:36:11 [Ugram]: Yes. They are strewn around the floors, mostly.
16:36:45 Goresh nods. "Right, in that case i'll be around... Probably the inn across the valley."
16:36:53 [Goresh]: In case you need t'contact me.
16:37:07 [Ugram]: ... Right, then. No getting into any unconsented brawls.
16:37:09 Ugram would smile gently.
16:38:06 Goresh blinks before grinning. "Of course not. I ain't a dishonorable thug. I love fightin', but I ain't gonna go around roughin' up those who ain't interested."
16:38:35 [Ugram]: Mm. I did not mean it truly.
16:39:36 [Goresh]: I know, but I felt it deserved an answer nontheless. Plus, wouldn't want you thinkin' I was destroying your helpers n' home.
16:39:53 [Ugram]: ... Ha! No, I trust you enough to not require that much, but I appreciate it.
16:41:51 [Goresh]: I'm honored by your faith in me. I gotta ask, though, what prompted you to create this... Earthworks, correct? Just a desire to help where y'could?
16:42:41 [Ugram]: I saw the problems you have voiced years ago, young one. It is my way of strengthening what I see as the Horde's greatest weaknesses.
16:44:04 Goresh nods. "Good on you, then." He stands, stretching. "Now, unless y'need me for anything else, i'm gonna get some lodging, now that i've confirmed i'm gonna be staying."
16:44:26 [Ugram]: No, I don't. I will sleep soon.
16:44:43 [Ugram]: The people in this valley will be willing to lodge you, or you may sleep here or in the Earthworks hall I mentioned.
16:46:30 Goresh nods. "I'll find somethin' and be in touch. Have a good night, Elder." He bows respectfully before exiting.
16:46:40 [Ugram]: Mm. Strength and honor.

'Attention, everyone...'
@"Krilari"
'The grunts in this valley, not having been to war, have problems with perception - and, while they can swing an axe, would fall against a true combatant. As a blademaster, I can think of no better to try and rectify this for the safety of this valley.'

Made progress on the dual blacksmithery event! They have decided on what to make.

Hopefully Ro'gosh appreciates what will undoubtedly be horrifyingly hard work.

Logs!

Spoiler:
06:56:50 [Urr]: Throm'ka, Harnod.
06:57:52 Harnod is day dreaming, looking at the sky.
06:59:22 [Urr]: Harnod?
06:59:45 Harnod shakes his head, looking around. "Yes?"
07:00:51 [Urr]: It is Urr, the one Elder Zeth'Ugram Mok-gol'rand sent.
07:01:25 [Harnod]: Ah. The Blacksmith?
07:01:35 [Urr]: Indeed.
07:02:47 [Harnod]: Alright. So, what are you good at?
07:05:51 [Urr]: Good? I'm good at most things you can expect from a blacksmith... Forging, drawing, bending, upsetting, and uh-...
07:05:52 You shrug. Who knows?
07:06:42 [Harnod]: Universal Blacksmith then?
07:07:32 You nod at Harnod.
07:07:35 [Urr]: Yes.
07:08:24 [Harnod]: Similar to me. Thou, I am more specialized with exotic materials more.
07:08:44 [Harnod]: Any ideas of what to make?
07:09:45 [Urr]: I take pride in my finishing work, grinding the blade, assembling, wrapping, mounting- There is a blademaster in our order named Ro'gosh, he has a blade already, but perhaps something that contains more potential power?
07:11:54 [Harnod]: A blade for a blademaster? What about something, less combat like? Maybe something to help with a certain trade?
07:13:14 [Urr]: This blademaster is also a miner, though the thing at hand is supposed to benefit the Earthworks, yes? One of the only other non-combat things I can think of would be a skillet for our cook.
07:15:59 [Harnod]: Hmm, something for our cook. That would mean I will have to try what our Cook can do.
07:16:01 Harnod chuckles at you.
07:16:24 Urr pats his stomach, "They are good."
07:18:24 [Harnod]: Hmm, a blade for blademaster and skillet for our cook? If we have enough for both, we could accomplish both. *Scans Urr.* Not lacking something for self defense?
07:19:08 Urr had snow white runes tracing his body, which likely stood out against his skin. "I am a runemaster." He raised a single index finger to trace against said markings.
07:19:41 [Harnod]: That would explain it then.
07:19:44 Harnod chuckles at you.
07:20:35 [Urr]: Perhaps if there isn't enough for both a skillet and a blade then we can make two blades? One for the blademaster and his combat, another for the cook and his work?
07:21:56 [Harnod]: Good idea. Shall we head to Orgrimmar? I finished my small task here.
07:22:33 [Urr]: Yes, that'll do.
07:23:47 [Harnod]: Why take up blacksmithing if you do not use any of the product?
07:24:09 [Urr]: I am a blackrock, it is my peoples trade.
07:24:42 [Harnod]: Oh. And I was thinking you just came from a long work at the forge.
07:24:44 Harnod chuckles at you.
07:24:53 You nod at Harnod.
07:25:28 [Harnod]: I myself was blessed with dark fur. So it is hard to spot when I get dirty.
07:25:47 [Urr]: I am blessed as well, except for the white lines I marked myself with.
07:27:14 [Harnod]: Ever worked with Obisdian?
07:27:41 [Urr]: A couple of times, you must remember, I lived in a mountain.
07:27:47 [Urr]: Volcano, rather.
07:28:11 [Harnod]: Lovely material. Serves me well.
07:29:20 [Urr]: There are better materials, but they tend to be more expensive, and rarer.
07:36:21 [Urr]: So why did we walk all the way here in silence?
07:37:15 [Harnod]: Because I am thinking of what material shall we make the blades. Also, if mixing few materials would be beneficial to the durability.
07:37:47 [Urr]: Depends on exactly what materials we're thinking of mixing. I have some of my own iron and leather, as does the Earthworks.
07:38:37 [Harnod]: For all it's good, Iron is not the ideal resource to make a fighting blade from.
07:38:54 [Urr]: We make do with what we have.
07:39:11 [Harnod]: Or collect what we need.
07:39:39 [Urr]: Indeed, could always talk to Elder Zeth'ugram Mok-gol'rand on tasking the miner with gathering resources, then you and I could smelt it.
07:40:28 [Harnod]: Remember me telling you, I specialize in exotic materials? How about we put that to use? Just we need to make a decision on what material, or materials to use.
07:40:45 You nod at Harnod.
07:41:19 [Harnod]: Obsidian that I donated was not used. We could use that. What else?
07:42:58 [Urr]: We only have the materials available to us within the area, we could mount... Not expeditions, but journeys in general... Leather from a beast, wood from a tree, etcetera.
07:44:05 [Harnod]: Leather, we have enough. Few more shards of obsidian and some... more durable metal, like Mithril would be perfect.
07:44:41 [Urr]: You said you specialize in exotic materials, why use regular leather? Why use the wood of a regular tree that splinters easily?
07:46:53 [Harnod]: Agreed. Why use only one, after all, journey to get Obsidian will not be short nor easy. We will need few extra hands on the matter.
07:47:21 [Urr]: And perhaps we will find something worthwhile along the way.
07:48:28 [Harnod]: May I suggest heading south, to Ungoro Crater, or Silithus for needed Obsidian.
07:49:04 [Urr]: Suggest as you may, I think it'd be something we discuss to the Elder, and get his opinion on.
07:50:31 Harnod nods. "What about second blade for the cooks? Maybe something to chop meat with? You can engrave runes on items, as a Runemaster?"
07:56:15 [Urr]: Indeed I can, and since we have an alchemist in our ranks I can burn the runes in using a mixed concoction instead of engraving.
07:59:35 [Urr]: Miiind you- Mind you, I suppose it's something worth mentioning, the runes will only be for show. We'd need the enchanter, as said.
07:59:40 Ugram is asleep.
08:00:37 [Harnod]: Well then. Lets return to they objective. What about the second blade?
08:01:16 Rahirn walks up the wooden stairs as the wood bends and almost gives away with every step. Rahirn enters the building and sits down. Making the ground protest with a 'thunk' as he sat down. Rahirn put his shield and mace to his side.
08:01:56 Ugram awakens with a start. He looks over at the big, intrusive moo.
08:02:35 [Urr]: I'd say we put the lid on that idea and resurrect it after finding out what the cook wants.
08:03:04 Rahirn patted his greyish fur and shook his hair with an exhale through the nose. Rahirn seems to be staring at a certain spot. As if not there.
08:03:11 [Harnod]: Fair enough. First, lets get Elder's say on our little resource hunt.
08:03:21 [Ugram]: ... Greetings.
08:03:28 Ugram stares down Rahirn.
08:03:37 [Harnod]: Any idea where to find him?d
08:03:41 [Urr]: In his hut.
08:03:53 [Harnod]: That could work.
08:03:55 Harnod chuckles at you.
08:04:14 Ugram is staaaaaaaaring.
08:04:15 Urr pauses at the doorway, hitting chest with a fist. "Throm'ka, may we enter?"
08:04:26 [Ugram]: You may. Someone has already decided to, regardless.
08:04:56 Harnod looks at the wood as he steps on it. "Hmm... I will stay at the doorway."
08:05:17 [Urr]: May I quickly intterupt your obviously pressing conversation?
08:05:37 [Ugram]: There is no conversation. Go on.
08:05:51 Ugram does look a mite grumpy. Someone's gone and interrupted his sleep and sat down in his hut without asking.
08:06:50 [Urr]: Me and Harnod have spoken, we wish to hunt out additional materials for a blade we're making. The blade is for our Blademaster, Ro'Gosh. We'll need a couple of extra hands, and of course we will be able to discuss it later.
08:08:07 [Ugram]: ... Mm? Good. Very good. Will you need the cart?
08:08:56 [Harnod]: Hmm, two strong men should be enough for what we need to carry. Unless Elder requests us to bring back extra.
08:09:01 You nod at Ugram.
08:09:24 [Ugram]: ... Right. Well, then. It would be irresponsible to take peons for such a task.
08:10:40 [Urr]: I request that one of the men is Ro'gosh, he is a miner, as well will it be useful that he gets his own materials.
08:11:10 Rahirn blinks and shakes his head. The Tauren looks around and furrows his brows, as if he doesn't really understand where is he.
08:11:20 [Ugram]: ... Mm. I can request him to do so --- well?
08:11:27 Ugram directs the last word to the tauren, impatiently.
08:12:10 Rahirn looked around and then to Ugram, Rahirn clears his throat."Excuse me for entering, for it was not me who walked." Rahirn said, something pretty fishy but hokay.
08:12:12 [Harnod]: Do we have a good leather worker? A willing cook to go to a potentialy dangerous trip would be nice as well. I can cook, but even I suggest against my own cooking.
08:12:17 Harnod chuckles at you.
08:13:20 Ugram isn't immediately sure who to respond to. He decides the interloper comes first, narrowing his eyes. "Mm? Not you? A spirit, perhaps?"
08:13:31 Rahirn nodded slowly."Indeed."
08:13:43 Harnod eyes Rahirn up and down.
08:14:23 [Ugram]: ... Go on.
08:15:27 [Urr]: I have to go get prepared, blessings to be made, people to be praised.
08:15:34 [Urr]: Spirits guide you.

You might be able to spot a moo in there, as well.

Harnod would like to argue about the heavy part, but he also has great respect for the spirits so he will not.
