Hello there! My name's Ashley (Male spelling, female player) 20 years old and living in the UK. I've spent my years doing an art course and I'm now working as a carer and aiming to get an NVQ sorted. I enjoy pizza, adorable animals, and it's my current lifetime goal to have lunch on the Orient Express. I'm a little bit boring after all that, haha.
I enjoy sleeping.
As a player, I've been skipping from MMO to MMO looking for RP, as it's the only thing I really play MMO's for. I enjoy stuff like pet collecting and making nice transmogs, and as a gamer in general I'm a filthy casual who likes stuff like Sims 3 and survival games. The steam sale has crippled me and I have no regrets. <3
My favourite food is roast potatoes, so christmas is a good time for me.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
Wales, in the UK! But I speak mostly english, we can have friendly arguments about how to spell 'Colour.' Cymru am byth.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
I started five and something years ago just before christmas, trying to pass the time until presents and those sweet, sweet roast potatoes that came with Xmas lunch. It was a sidebar ad that caught my eye, no friends of mine played it - But I've since met my boyfriend of three and a half years on it and met some ace people IRL who I've met on there, so I'm glad I spotted it.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
A friend pointed it out to me, and of course the big 'RP ONLY' rule is what made me fall in love with the place.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I've done a right old mix in my time - I enjoy big, sprawling DM-type events. I have toons on all parts of the spectrum, and my current main RP toons on retail warcraft include a meek priest who I quite enjoy chill and tavern RP with, a bone-idle rogue for a bit of light criminal and light adventuring, and a haggard old warlock for a bit of evil cultist bad-guy roleplay. I have a secret soft spot for knights and 'Grimdark' (The cursed word since everyone started taking inspiration from Game of Thrones ) So my warrior sorts me out for that.
I'm definitely an 'Alliance human female' kind of girl, as that makes up the majority of my toon list. I have no problems with trying other races and even the other faction, but I'm definitely at my most comfortable on alliance-side. I enjoy my two draenei and my elf, but they don't see as much love as my humans, unfortunately.
My human male turned out a little camp by accident, haha. I think I'll stick to my own gender.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Human priest! From pure, filthy bias. My first ever toon on Warcraft was a human priest, and she's still my main to this day. I enjoy healing in PvE, and playing a healer IC.
What are your expectations of this server?:
RP! Immersive, accessible, varied RP. Tavern RP, lighthearted RP, gritty grimdark RP. Give me all of it, I have a toon for everything. RP is all I want. <3 I adore the idea of a world where the players can possibly affect the lore of the world just as much as the NPC characters.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
No griefers and no PvP unless it's for a more immersive experience. Gone are the days of being stood on with a mammoth until you jump ship, or get ganked repeatedly when you just wanted a pretty zone to RP in. My idea of heaven. <3
Also, I hope I don't sound elitist, because I'm very very open and casual about what I'll accept in RP - But not bumping into Alextrasza's lesbian half-sister in the Cathedral district is always a nice little bonus too.

I think all RPers always have more to learn, but I think I'm very solid on the basics! I'd just like a chance to improve my descriptions and writing in general.

A story I wrote for a realm competition about a year back.
Skimming again after so long, I'd love to sit down one day and see if I can touch it up any. But for now, a story from one of my toon's point of view - A guard struggling with the concept of the law as a black and white thing.
