First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Hello, my name is Vermillion. I am a very relaxed and calm individual who likes to observe more than he likes to speak, although when given the chance to will talk about something for hours on end. I have a general interest in gaming, sci-fi, as well as fantasy universes, examples of which include but are not limited to Warhammer 40,000, Warcraft, Starcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, as well as a few other universes that I cannot quite recall at the time. In World of Warcraft, my primary interests include Goblins, Ethereals, Scourge, and Forsaken.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I come from the United States, Michigan to be exact. English is my main language with a small bit of German from what I learned in high school.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
I got into World of Warcraft when my brother decided one day to go to the local Target to pick up a World of Warcraft battlechest. I wasn't into World of Warcraft RP until many years after my introduction to WoW, but began RP with Stracraft: Broodwar before eventually moving on to the PBE and then lastly to retail RP. After a few years on retail RP, I moved onto Private Server RP for a more focused community.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I have spent time on WoW private servers in the past, a few of them being RP, although I wasn't generally pleased with them, and sought something more. A friend of mine then referred me to Conquest of the Horde, which sparked my interest, and so I agreed to join the server with my friend.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I generally like evil oriented RP; things such as Forsaken, Scourge and even at times Burning Legion (on other private servers). However on retail I was more of an Undead and Goblin RPer. I always feel the need to be an antagonizing force IC, as to better drive a story with conflict (although I strongly work against any form of antagonizing OOC, as that's just rude.)
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My overall favorite Class from my days of retail would be the Warrior, followed closely by the Rogue. The Warrior is very evident due to the fact that I have maybe 15 of them in total on my retail account...
My favorite playable race is Undead, followed by Goblins and Orcs, although my all-time favorite race that isn't playable are the Ethereals, followed by Mantid and Qiraji.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect to find good quality roleplay, as well as create, grow and even inspire others to create new characters.
Also to please the great Dark Ones, the Chaos Gods. And remember kids, Blood for the Blood God; Skulls for the Skull Throne.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I find the rule of always being respectful no matter the circumstance, as well as communicating back to the staff feelings but keeping from arguing with them very appealing, as I dislike conflict and these rules help with that.
Did you know that we have a Mentor Program? It's entirely voluntary and you as a new player can sign up for it right now in your introduction! Are you interested in signing up to be assigned a Mentor? If so, say so here (Please enter at least "Yes" or "No"):
No, thank you.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
The Imperial Guardsman breathed heavily, his digits clutched tightly around the form of his lasrifle as he stared in a petrified horror towards the colossal form of the Daemon Prince, its jagged and twisted warpforged sword resting within the chest of the Space Marine who had breathed his last breaths in the moments that have now passed. The Guardsman took a step back, his boot catching a piece of battlefield debris, causing him to fall backwards and drop his weapon as his back collided with the ground, knocking the wind out of him in the form of a pained grunt. The Guardsman's heartbeat skipped as the sound of massive hooves advancing towards him echoed in his ears, his eyes growing wide in fear as he brought himself up to hesitantly look towards the red skinned daemon whose eyes still burned with an insatiable blood lust, its tongue running up and down the edges of its eldritch weapon. The Guardsmen attempted to speak towards the daemon, perhaps even plead for his life in a last act of desperation, as he had no means of defeating this accursed beast. The daemon was now upon him, its colossal form looming over the man who was but a gnat in comparison, cackling with a cursed and unnatural laugh as it raised its sword, preparing to end the life of the poor Guardsman. He closed his eyes, a frightful cry coming from his mouth as he braced himself for death, his life flashing before his eyes; awaiting for that blade to cut into him and end his being.
Suddenly there was a loud noise that resounded from the Guardsman's right, a horn to the tune of "La Cucaracha" blaring with the might of a thousand lion's roars as a Baneblade had appeared from seemingly nowhere, its treads thundering against the ground as it rammed its main cannon's barrel directly into the Daemon Prince, knocking the fiend over before the mighty weight of the Baneblade tank rolled over its warped form, crushing and killing the beast instantly. The Guardsman could do nothing more than just look on with awe towards the mighty form of the Baneblade, a nervous grin forming on his face as he looked up towards the top of the tank, the main hatch popping open as a man arose to overlook the battlefield. None other than the tactical genius, Ursarkar E. Creed, a cigar in his mouth as it twisted into a wide smile.
Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Not really, but thank you.
