He is a man that believes in action rather than words, and that only through hard work one will be rewarded with improvement.
History: Since the dawn of his life, Ragnor was educated to be a warrior that would fight with pride in the name of his tribe, being trained in the use of weapons and shields. He would also worship the vrykul's pantheon of titanic watchers, growing especially admired by Tyr and his legends. So, it was with great shock that he received the news that Kind Ymiron had ordered all vrykul to abandon their faith when their sons started to be born weak and ugly.
He cursed Ymiron's name in silence and hated himself for not being able to act against such heresy. So he secretly remained loyal to his old faith, but for all others, his loyalty belonged to his clan and king. For a long time he continued to live in the company of his clan, feeling too impotent to put up any significant resistance against the new way of life that was adopted by the vrykul.
When the smaller races invaded Northrend in order to hunt down Ymiron's fake god of death, however, he saw a spark of hope in the darkness. So he left his village at night and roamed off towards the proximities of one of their settlements. As he observed them, he realized some were like the weak and ugly children they had spawned ages ago. He approached them, and, under the aim of their archers, he shouted out asking for peace and put down his weapons. A group of knights escorted him into the place, and he was given a chance to speak, always surrounded by heavily armed men. He spoke of Ymiron's heresy and that he wished to join the little ones' efforts to fight against the fake god of death, an offer which they accepted after a long talk between their leaders.
He spent a few days within the knights' settlement, trying to gain their confidence. This was when he learned that the order they belonged to was named the Argent Crusade, and, after hearing from a crusader about a place called "Tyr's Hand", that they knew the same legends about the titanic watcher as he did, something that made him grow even friendlier to his new companions.
Soon, though, he would have to prove his loyalty to the Crusade in the battlefield, and he did so with pride, as his might was able to break holes through lines of ghouls and hold off against their attacks. Thus, he earned the crusaders' respect.
After months of fighting, the invading armies were finally able to defeat the Lich King, as well as Ymiron. Ragnor was grateful, and saw in this a new hope for the vrykul, but they would not return to their old faith so easily. They still held in much anger against the ones who killed their king and their god, and trying to make them change would require much effort.
As he was still unable to return to his people, Ragnor headed off from Northrend with the crusaders. Now, he roams around the little races' lands, helping them fight the local threats, as a way to repay them for what they have done in Northrend, and dreaming if the vrykul society might ever return to what it once was.
