Welcome! |
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

Just to note, every hour Karthrok on GMI will cast four AE buffs (though bear in mind you have to be in Line of Sight to him). These buffs are:
[spell]34410[/spell]
[spell]22888[/spell]
[spell]16609[/spell]
[spell]24425[/spell]
This will serve the purpose of helping lower-level characters go through more dangerous locales during RP as well as providing a boon for leveling and other PvE endeavors.
Note that you'll be able to judge approximately when he'll be recasting the buffs by seeing what duration is left on the buffs on him. They're casted relevant to when he last casted them, not to server time.
Enjoy!

I really dislike my connection... |

As an update, neither of the two technician calls have been fruitful. At this point, allegedly there's a ticket open for a higher-up tech supervisor or the like, but unfortunately I don't believe we can progress until Wednesday.
At this point, I -would- simply order a VPS, but I really don't think it's worth the cost for me. These connection woes have been plaguing us for the past couple weeks, and other than some router issues in the past, my current setup has been pretty successful for the past several years. Furthermore, I have full control over the server and don't have to worry about paying an exorbitant monthly fee for a computer with a powerful processor, memory, etc.
Therefore, I implore everything to be patient! I'm also extremely annoyed at my connection's instability, but it should theoretically be fixed Soon!

More Connectivity Woes! |

Despite having a technician come to check the connections (and getting a new cable modem, though I knew that wasn't the issue), I'm still experiencing constant connectivity losses. This evening, it's been extremely prevalent (seems to be disconnecting every 5-10 minutes). I've already called the ISP, and they're going to send a technician out again on Thursday between 5-6:30p PDT (server time).
Just a notice for those that may be experiencing the constant DCs!
