Welcome! |
Lok'Tar! Conquest of the Horde was originally a private World of Warcraft RP community that focused primarily on roleplay within the WoW setting. Originally established in September of 2007, CotH enjoyed a healthy reign of over seven years focused on WoW roleplay. On January 22nd of 2015, a DMCA notice was issued, resulting in a halt of the WoW RP focus. Now, the community has expanded to encompass multiple worlds in various games and settings. This community will serve as a hub for members to join like-minded individuals in any game or environment. The community itself will also host a few game worlds of its own after development progresses enough.
While the dust is settling after the revelation of the WoW server closure, feel free to hang out and see how development goes!

Yes, this is actually a serious post! It seems the power company is having a laugh of their own, as for some reason the power went out. Therefore, no server! Hopefully it won't last long.
I'll post again once power is back on and the server is back up.

Warning: Patch 3.3.3 (Don't do it!) |

As an FYI, patch 3.3.3 comes out today on retail servers. For those of you that play on both retail and here and use the same folder, I'd advise to make a copy of your WoW folder before patching the normal one up. I'd also suggest to use the copy of the folder to remain at 3.3.2, and continue running Wow.exe to prevent auto-patching.
For those that only play here, you don't have to worry! Just ensure you're still using a shortcut to Wow.exe to prevent auto-patching. Furthermore, to prevent patching accidentally, I'd suggest to rename the "Blizzard Updater.exe" file to something like "Blizzard Updater.exe.bak" so it's effectively impossible for it to apply any patch inadvertently.
